万双网讯  2023年4月4日，万科双语学校2022-2023第二学期第九周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式主持由4O班、4V班承担。4O班、4V班是团结友爱、积极向上的集体。

VBS Net News    On April 4, 2023, the flag-raising ceremony for the ninth week of the second semester of 2022-2023 Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school playground. This week's flag-raising ceremony was hosted by Class 4O and Class 4V. Class 4O and Class 4V are united, friendly and positive groups.

升旗仪式由4V班的韦一铭和赵泓言主持。4O班周桐晖和梁佳睿做了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是《赤子春醒 缅怀先烈》。校团委孙晓萌老师做了时事热点分享。

The flag-raising ceremony was presided over by Wei Yiming and Zhao Hongyan from Class 4V. Class 4O Zhou Tonghui and Liang Jiarui gave speeches under the national flag. The topic of their speech was "Remembering the Martyrs". Teacher Sun Xiaomeng from VBS  Youth League Committee made a sharing on current affairs.

大家好！

Hello everyone!

今天我给大家演讲的主题是“赤子春醒 缅怀先烈”。

The theme of my speech today is “Remembering the Martyrs”.

4月5日就是一年一度的清明节，清明节既是我国二十四节气之一，又是我国最重要的祭祖和扫墓的日子。

April 5th is the annual Qingming Festival, which is not only one of the 24 solar terms in China, but also the most important day for ancestor worship and tomb sweeping.

忆往昔，在血雨腥风的战争岁月里，无数优秀儿女为了民族的解放事业，为了国家的和平统一，不惜抛头颅、洒热血，书写了许多可歌可泣的壮丽诗篇，才为我们创造了如今美好的生活和学习环境。

Recalling the past, in the bloody years of war, countless outstanding sons and daughters sacrificed their lives and shed their blood for the cause of national liberation and the peaceful reunification of the country, and wrote many magnificent and inspiring poems, which created a beautiful life and learning environment for us today.

站在国旗下，我的心情是沉重的。因为这面鲜艳的五星红旗是无数的革命先辈们用鲜血染红的，面对着迎风飘扬的五星红旗，我们又怎能不肃然起敬？烈士们虽然离开了我们，但他们的精神和形象却永远活在我们心中。他们将彪炳史册，万古流芳。

Standing under the national flag, my heart is heavy. Because this bright five-star red flag was dyed red with the blood of countless revolutionary ancestors, how can we not respect the five-star red flag fluttering in the wind?  Although the martyrs have left us, their spirit and image will always live in our hearts. They will shine brightly in the annals of history and last forever.

幸福生活来之不易，只有懂得珍惜，懂得我们所肩负的历史责任和历史使命，才会更加努力地去创造未来，创造更美好的生活。我们要弘扬先烈的崇高精神，革命传统牢记心间；我们要相互团结，相互关爱；我们必须坚定热爱党、热爱祖国的信念，珍惜美好时光，勤奋学习，为祖国贡献自己的智慧和力量。

A happy life is hard to come by. Only when we know how to cherish and understand our historical responsibilities and missions，we can work harder to create a better future and a better life. We must carry forward the noble spirit of the martyrs and keep the revolutionary tradition in mind; We must unite and care for each other; We must firmly believe in loving the Party and the motherland, cherish good times, study diligently, and contribute our wisdom and strength to the motherland.

我是团委的孙老师，今天我的演讲主题是“创建全国文明城市，有你才行！”。

I am Mr. Sun from the Youth League Committee. The theme of my speech today is "Creating a national civilized city can only be done with you!".

上周学生会和大队委的干部进入各班做了主题宣讲，你们还记得是什么内容吗？对了，就是关于创文的。创文指的是创建第七届全国文明城市和首届全国文明典范城市。生活在这么一个城市，还真是让我们引以为豪呢！那么万双的未来少年，应该怎么为创文贡献一份力量呢？

Last week, the cadres of the student union and brigade committee entered each class to give a lecture on the theme. Do you still remember what it was? By the way, it is about creating a national civilized city(Chuangwen). “Chuangwen” refers to the establishment of the seventh national civilized city and the first national civilized model city. We are so proud to live in such a city! So how should VBS's future teenagers contribute to creating a national civilized city?

首先，我们要进行思想文明建设，那就是培育和践行社会主义核心价值观。富强、民主、文明、和谐，自由、平等、公正、法治，爱国、敬业、诚信、友善，这12个词汇、24个大字应该牢牢铭记在心里，你们做到了吗？

First of all, we must carry out the construction of ideological civilization, that is, to cultivate and practice the socialist core values. Prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony, freedom, equality, justice, rule of law, patriotism, dedication, integrity, and friendliness, these 12 words and 24 characters should be firmly engraved in your heart. 创建全国文明城市，我们更应该在生活中践行“文明”。

To create a national civilized city, we should practice "civilization" in our lives.

校内我们组织了各项“文明校园”的创建活动，比如每周开展国旗下讲话，进行爱国教育、文明礼仪倡导、环境保护等宣传；还通过开展PBL项目式学习，积极打造“零废弃校园”，倡导简约适度、绿色低碳的生活方式；倡导日常生活中注意文明礼貌，主动问好。

We have organized various "civilized campus" creation activities in the school, such as holding speeches under the national flag every week, carrying out patriotic education, advocating civilized etiquette, and environmental protection; we also actively build a "zero waste campus" by carrying out PBL project-based learning , advocate a simple, moderate, green and low-carbon lifestyle; pay attention to civility and courtesy in daily life, and take the initiative to say hello.
