万双网讯 2023年3月20日，万科双语学校在学校操场举办2022-2023第二学期第七周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式主持由7C和7D 班承担。7C班是一个团结友爱、积极进取的集体，7D班是一个努力拼搏、求实创新的集体。

Dear teachers and fellow students,

大家早上好，我是7D班陈曦睿。今天为大家带来的演讲是“良好睡眠，健康人生”。为唤起全民对睡眠重要性的认识，国际精神卫生和神经科学基金会将每年初春的第一天3月21日定为世界睡眠日。而充足的睡眠、均衡的饮食和适当的运动，也是国际社会公认的三项健康标准。

Good morning! I'm Emilia from 7D. The topic of today's speech is “Good sleep, healthy life”. To raise awareness of the importance of sleep, the first day of early spring, March twenty-first, is designated as the World Sleep Day. Enough sleep, balanced diet and proper exercise are also regarded as the three health standards.

人类生命中约1/3的时间是在睡眠中度过的，这1/3的时间在很大程度上决定着余下2/3时间里生命的质量。根据2021年运动与睡眠白皮书的调查报告：中国有超3亿人存在睡眠障碍。3/4的人晚上11时之后才能入睡，近1/3的人在凌晨1时后才能进入梦乡。这就是我们的睡眠现状态——入睡困难成为头号问题。未成年人的睡眠质量更是让人忧心，超四成熬夜至零点以后，甚至是周末出现了“报复性熬夜”现象。

About one third of human life is spent in sleep, which largely determines the quality of life. According to the survey, more than 300 million people in China have sleep disorders. Three quarters of people fall asleep after 11:00 p.m., and nearly one third sleep after 1:00 a.m. Have difficulty in falling asleep has become the biggest problem. The sleep quality of teenagers is even more worrying. More than 40% stay up late.

同学们，良好的睡眠是人体机能的加油站，它可以促进大脑发育、巩固记忆、恢复体力、增强免疫力。睡得好，心情会更加愉悦，幸福感更强；睡眠不足或睡眠紊乱，则可能导致各种疾病的产生。所以，充足和良好的睡眠是我们人体正常免疫防御能力的重要保证。我们每个人都是自己的第一责任人，身体健康是一切的本钱，我们应该为自己的睡眠负责，养成良好的睡眠习惯。规律作息、保证时长、适量运动，遇到严重的睡眠问题，我们也要懂得及时就医，寻求专业人员的帮助。

Dear students, good sleep can promote brain development, consolidate memory, restore physical strength and strengthen immunity. Sleep well, you will feel happier. Lack of sleep or sleep disorder will lead to various diseases. Therefore, adequate and good sleep is an important ensurance for our normal immune defense ability. Each of us is our first responsible person, and health is the capital of everything. We should be responsible for our sleep and develop good sleep habits. We should regularly work and rest, ensure the length of time, and exercise moderately. When we have serious sleep problems, we should also ask for medical advice and professional help in time.

睡眠的质量决定着我们的身体健康和生活质量，在那些调查报告数据的背后，我们更希望每一位万双人都能切实意识到睡眠的重要性，也希望每个因不同原因熬夜奔忙的人，都能拥有好睡眠，以最佳的精神状态迎接每一天的到来，创造属于自己的健康幸福人生。

The quality of sleep determines our physical health and life. Behind the data of the survey report, I hope that every students in VBS can be truly aware of the importance of sleep.
