万科双语学校以成长型思维构建学习型学校,每学期开学前进行为期一周的教师专业培训,每月召开一次月度工作会,每学期期末进行工作总结会,通过多维度培训、团队建设全面提升教师专业素养。

如:全国著名教育家李镇西老师为万双老师做了《什么是好的教育》主题演讲。李老师指出,教育的首要任务是培养人,人是教育的最高价值,其次才是培养人才。好的教育应该是走进心灵的教育,把孩子放在心上的教育。他用自己几十的奋斗经历,告诉老师们如何成为一个好老师:即坚持不停的实践、不停地思考、不停地阅读、不停地写作。他鼓励老师们用一生的时间去寻找那个让自己吃惊的自己,博览群书,具有开阔的人文视野,把学生引向广阔的人文天地。

深圳市教育科学研究院院长叶文梓以“觉者为师“为题为万双全体教职员工做了专题讲座。他从未来社会是什么样的社会谈起,指出时代变了,原来为富强中国而教,现在要为文明中国而教。教师要关注时代新的特点,目前,互联网、大数据、云计算、虚拟现实技术、人工智能等正在启动一个个风口,对社会各行业及传统教育带来冲击。未来社会不需要死读书的孩子,未来的教育要从成功教育转向幸福教育,要把孩子培养成为热爱生活、创造生活、享受生活的幸福之人、创新之人
