万双网讯  2021-2022第一学期，在老师们和同学们的共同努力下，万科双语学校学子在各项比赛中斩获数个奖项，硕果累累。

2021 is the year of harvest. With the efforts of teachers and students in VBS, we have won lots of awards in various English competitions this semester. And we achieved fruitful results.

2021年12月，由中国童话节组委会、深圳读书月组委会办公室、深圳市儿童戏剧研究会主办的粤港澳大湾区童话节如期举行。万科双语学校参赛作品《童年四季》获得金奖，该剧由徐雨婷、李晓燕和三四年级语文老师共同指导，二年级和四年级学生演出，展示了VBS学生卓越的综合素养。

In December 2021, the Great Bay Area fairy tale festival was held, sponsored by the Organizing Committee of China fairy tale Festival, the office of the Organizing Committee of Shenzhen reading month and Shenzhen Children's drama Research Association. VBS won the Gold Award. The play was directed by Ms. Xu Yuting, Ms. Li Xiaoyan, and the Chinese teachers of Grades 3 and 4, which the students of Grade 4 performed, showing the excellent comprehensive quality of VBS students.

万科双语学校黄巧莉老师、黄芳老师、刘文伶老师和周金凤老师几位老师倾情打造，由来自二至四年级的学生（杨诺一、胡逸航、王梓睿、管礼娴、方茜妮、张孟遥、唐艺轩、晏紫、林子杨、高婕熙、王禹骁、叶泽钖、马欣然、石子立、张耀中、吴赫凡）组成的演职团队，荣获此次英语话剧大赛银奖。此外，王思涵小朋友还摘得2021中国童话节之粤港澳大湾区童话节“小小外交官”英文演讲比赛小学三四年级组铜奖。

The play directed by teachers from the English department (Shirley, Bella, Vivian, and Jojo) and acted by students from Grade 2 to Grade 4 (Yang Nuoyi, Hu Yihang, Wangzirui, Guan Lixian, Fang Xini, Zhang Mengyao, Tang Yixuan, Yanzi, Lin Ziyang, Gao Jiexi, Wang Yuxiao, Ye Zeyang, Ma Xinran, Shi Zili, Zhang Yaozhong, Wu Hefan) was awarded the silver prize. In addition, Wang Sihan also won the bronze prize in the "Little Diplomat" English Speech Contest at the 2021 China Fairy Tale Festival.

2021年11月，在首届大湾区青少年模拟联合国大会未来领袖峰会中，万科双语学校学生林立达、吴萱怡、关畅、肖羽涵、谭若晨、祁润格、曾廷轩组成的代表队，在周金凤老师、胡宇闻老师和张君婷老师的带领下，获得小学组团体二等奖。

In November 2021, in the Future Leaders Model UN Summit, under the leadership of Jojo, Allie, and Rachel, a team composed of VBS students Lin Lida, Wu Xuanyi, Guan Chang, Xiao Yuhan, Tan Ruochen, Qi Runge, and Zeng Tingxuan participated in this activity, and they won the second prize of the primary school group. 

12月18日，深圳市中小学生英语演讲与辩论大赛总决赛精彩落下帷幕，万科双语学校再创佳绩。小低演讲组方面，严熹摘得亚军，王思涵和宋陈萱洛荣获一等奖，李艾萌和罗凡睿荣获二等奖。高年级的哥哥姐姐们也毫不示弱，谢宇轩，韩佳汐、方照融和王禹骁荣获小高演讲组一等奖，杨雨秋、罗浚曦、熊琪语和雷晞嘉荣获二等奖。其中，韩佳汐还获得最佳风采奖，方照融获得优秀写作二等奖的殊荣。此外，严熹、佟可心、郭景童等十四位学子获得了优秀朗读一等奖的殊荣。李宏宇老师、焦阳老师、胡雅琼老师、黄芳老师、贺舒婷老师获得大赛优秀指导教师一等奖，周金凤老师、刘文伶老师和陈玮一老师获得优秀指导教师三等奖，其中，刘文伶老师被评为优秀指导教师亚军。

On December 18, the English Speech and Debate Competition came to an end, and the team from VBS made another great achievement. In the lower grade group, Yan Xi won the runner-up, Wang Sihan and Song Chen Xuanluo won the first prize, and Li Aimeng and Luo Fanrui won the second prize. The senior group also had a rich harvest. Xie Yuxuan, Han Jiaxi, Fang Zhaorong, and Wang Yuxiao won the first prize, and Yang Yuqiu, Luo Junxi, Xiong Qiyu, and Lei Xijia won the second prize. Among them, Han Jiaxi also won the best style award, and Fang Zhaorong won the second prize of excellent writing award. In addition, 14 students, including Yan Xi, Tong Kexin, and Guo Jingtong, won the first prize for excellent reading. The teachers of VBS, including Diana, Krystal, June, Vivian, and Sunny, won the first prize for outstanding instructors in the competition, and Jojo, Bella, and Vicky won the third prize for outstanding instructors. Among them, Bella was also rated as an excellent runner-up instructor.

2021年12月，在由龙华区外事局、教育局联合主办的“中国少年说”演讲大赛中，三年级顾效语获得一等奖，杨欣、罗凡睿和向征三位同学获得二等奖。此外，刘文伶老师、胡宇闻老师和陆巧老师分获优秀指导老师一二三等奖。

In December, in the Chinese Youth Talk speech contest, Gu Xiaoyu from Grade 3 in our school won the first prize, and three students, Yang Xin, Luo Fanrui, and Xiang Zheng, won the second prize. In addition, teachers Bella, Allie, and Crystal won the first, second, and third prizes for outstanding instructors, respectively.

这一系列的活动是一场场深圳学子思想碰撞、跨校园文化交流的盛宴，万科双语学校的孩子们不论是舞台表现力，还是英语语言表达能力，都得到了来自各方评委和观众们的交口称赞。万科双语学校充分挖掘语文、英语学科的育人价值，着力培养语言能力强、思维品质优、文化意识浓的、具有家国情怀、国际视野和跨文化沟通能力的祖国建设者、未来世界的创造者和优秀公民，全力打造一流的国际化新型学校。

This series of activities is a feast for Shenzhen students to collide with each other's ideas. The children of VBS have won praises from judges and audiences for their performance and English ability.
