万双网讯 “听我说谢谢你，感谢有你，世界更美丽……”10月14日（农历九月初九）是中国重阳节，为弘扬中华民族敬老、爱老、养老、助老、感恩的传统美德，万科双语学校从今年起，将每年的重阳节定为万双感谢日，并于10月11日至19日开展丰富多彩的“谢谢你，温暖在心底”感恩日系列活动，藉此涵养师生浓浓的家国情怀，增强民族自信，勇创美好未来。

VBS News Net: October 14 (the ninth day of the ninth lunar month) is Double Ninth Festival. VBS has set the Double Ninth Festival as the VBS Appreciation Day and launched a series of activities from October 11 to 19 to cultivate patriotism for teachers and students.

10月11日，在学校升旗仪式上，杨帆校长向全校师生发出号召，希望每位VBS师生都可以用自己的方式向自己尊敬的师长、亲朋好友、校园的保安叔叔、清洁员阿姨叔叔、食堂的叔叔阿姨等表达谢意，在家里、在校园、在生活中发现细节，感悟幸福，表达感谢。也希望全体师生将感谢扩大到社会、国家和世界，在家事、国事、天下事中去感受大自然的和谐共处、世界的和平安宁、祖国的稳定繁荣、家庭的幸福美满对每个人的重要意义，藉此涵养自己的家国情怀，树立创造更加美好的未来的理想，并为此而努力学习和工作。杨校长深情地说道：“亲爱的老师和同学们，请在万双感谢日表达出你的感谢，愿感谢温暖彼此，伴随我们更有力量地前行！”

On October 11, at the school flag-raising assembly, Principal Yang hoped that each VBS teacher and student could express their gratitude in their way to their teachers, families, and friends. She also hoped that all teachers and students would extend their appreciation to society, the country, and the world. Students should know the significance of the harmonious coexistence of nature, the peace and tranquility of the world, the stability and prosperity of the motherland, and the happiness of the family to everyone. The Appreciation Day activities cultivate students' patriotism and establish their ideal of creating a better future. Principal Yang said, 'Dear teachers and students, please express your gratitude on VBS Appreciation Day. Appreciation can warm each other and make us move forward more powerfully.'

全校学生加入感恩行动

The whole school joined the Thanksgiving action.

10月11日至14日，全校各班级利用班会课时间开展感恩日系列活动，组织学生学习中华传统文化，了解重阳节的历史，体会传统节日的文化底蕴；分享身边关于“感恩”的小故事，学习《感恩的心》歌曲和手语舞；在家做一件让家里长辈开心的力所能及的家务劳动（扫地、泡茶、捶背、洗脚等）；撰写感恩的话、祝福卡、诗歌……让每一位学生认识到感恩是美德，立志做一个懂得感恩的人，制定感谢行动计划。同学们有的为爷爷（奶奶）捶背、洗脚，有的给同学撰写感谢的话语，有的为妈妈颁发奖状……

From October 11 to 14, all classes of the school used the class meeting time to carry out a series of Appreciation Day activities. Teachers organized students to learn Chinese traditional culture, the history of the Double Ninth Festival, and experience the cultural heritage of the traditional festival. Students shared small stories about appreciation around them, learned the song grateful heart and sign language. At home, they did the housework like sweeping the floor, making tea, and washing their grandparents' feet. Some of them wrote gratitude words, blessing cards, and poems. The Appreciation Day made every student realize that gratitude is a virtue, be determined to be a person who knows how to express gratitude.

10月14日，万科双语学校教职员工积极参与到感恩留言板、“感谢任务卡”、我为万双感谢日代言等活动中，从神秘盲盒中抽取到拥抱任务的老师们兴奋地给感谢的人来了一个个大大的拥抱。感恩留言板上记录了老师们对学校、同事、对亲友的爱与感恩之情。

On October 14, the teaching staff of VBS participated in activities such as gratitude message board, appreciation task card, and my endorsement for VBS Appreciation Day. The teachers who extracted the hug task from the mysterious box gave big hugs to the people they wanted to thank. The gratitude message board recorded the teachers' love and gratitude to the school, colleagues, families, and friends.

生活部老师含泪讲述感恩故事

10月14日上午，生活部新入职教师和部分老教师开展了一次以“心系感恩”为主题的座谈会。座谈会上，每位新老师都用朴实无华的语言娓娓道来加入万双一个多月来的真实感受、困惑和障碍。生活部黄雅娟主任和老教师们逐一答疑解惑，献计支招，从工作到生活，为积极上进的新教师们指明前进的方向。同时老师们纷纷在这个特殊的日子里对学校和身边的人表达了感谢、感恩之情，很多老师说到动情处不禁落泪和哽咽。他们的故事中有喉咙做手术后坚持与家长交谈两个多小时的黄雅娟主任，有被孩子称作妈妈的李荣菊老师，有每天回家衣服都被汗水湿透的骆正娴老师……每一份感谢都溢于言行，存于心间，“融入”“学习”“责任”“努力”“充实”……这些高频的词的出现，展现了生活部团队的凝聚力和集体责任感。

On October 14, new life teachers and some old life teachers held a symposium. Each new teacher talked about their feelings and difficulties in VBS. Huang Yajuan, director of the life department, and the old teachers answered questions one by one, gave ideas and suggestions, and pointed out the way for the new teachers. At the same time, teachers have expressed their gratitude to the school and the people around them on this special day. Many teachers couldn't help crying and choking when talking about their feelings. In their stories, Ms. Huang insisted on speaking with the parents for more than two hours after throat surgery. Their sharing showed the cohesion and responsibility of the life department.

黄雅娟主任对活动作了小结，感谢每一位在工作岗位上默默坚守、付出的老师们，希望新老师能尽快融入到万双这个大家庭，老教师要充分发挥“传帮带”的作用，理解、包容、团结协作，共同成长，做一名学生喜欢的生活老师。

Ms. Huang Yajuan summarized the activity, thanked every teacher, and hoped that the new teachers could integrate into the big VBS family as soon as possible. All teachers should unite and cooperate, grow together, and be life teachers loved by students.

感恩日这一天，爱与感恩的语言在VBS汇成了长河，温暖在每个人的心头荡漾。万科双语学校第一书记梁小文也积极参与到感恩活动中，执行打卡任务，与党员们谈心、拥抱，对学校党建工作给出了良好的建议。

On Appreciation Day, the language of love and gratitude rippled in everyone's heart. Liang Xiaowen, the first Secretary of VBS, also participated in the activities, talked and hugged with the party members, and gave good suggestions on the party construction of the school.

目前，VBS重阳节暨万双感谢日系列活动仍在持续进行中，师生们在活动中感恩祖国、感恩学校、感谢同仁、感谢亲朋好友，中华民族的优良传统在这里得到传承。文化自信是一个民族、一个国家以及一个政党对自身文化价值的充分肯定和积极践行，VBS将牢记使命，积极弘扬中华优秀传统文化，为实现中华民族伟大复兴而不懈奋斗。

At present, Double Ninth Festival and VBS Appreciation Day activities are still ongoing. Teachers and students are grateful to the motherland, the school, colleagues, families, and friends. The fine traditions of the Chinese nation are inherited here. Cultural self-confidence is the full affirmation and practice of a government, a country, and a political party on their cultural values.
