万双网讯  “大海是流在地里的诗，空气是飘在天空的诗，老师是写在心中的诗”“整片星空如同一间教室，月亮正在教星星们，什么是感恩”……9月10日，在VBS孩子们温暖的祝福声中，万科双语学校教师节系列活动拉开了帷幕。

VBS News Net: On September 10, a series of activities of Teacher's Day were held with the warm blessing of students.

今年的教师节，在杨帆校长的积极倡议下，全体教师拒收家长鲜花和礼品，打造风清气正的绿色校园。节日的清晨，刚进校门的老师们便被鲜花包围，学校向每位员工赠送太阳花。带着太阳花一样的笑容，老师们开启了温情满满的一天。

On this Teacher's Day, all teachers rejected parents' flowers and gifts to create a green campus at the initiative of Principal Yang. In the morning, the teachers who had just entered the school were surrounded by flowers. The school presented sunflowers to each employee.

每位老师都收到了同学们无数的心意卡和小礼物，有用乐高拼成的花朵，有精心制作的手工作品，有用数学方程式表达对老师的爱，有班级家长精心剪辑的小视频……4O班的孩子们创作了三行情诗，把最美好的语言、诗意的情话献给老师们。

Each teacher has received cards and small gifts from the students, including flowers made of Lego, handicrafts, mathematical equations, and videos edited by the parents. The students of 4O wrote poems to express love to the teachers.

在这一天，首届初三毕业班的同学从深圳的四面八方专程回到万科双语学校，看望校长、老师和同学，畅聊未来，眼里洋溢着万双的爱与不舍，老师们脸上的幸福像花儿一样绽放……

On this day, students of the first junior high school graduation class made a special trip back to VBS from all over Shenzhen to visit the principal and teachers. They talked about the future, and their eyes were filled with love.

当天下午2点，在学校合唱团“听我说谢谢你”的歌声中，万科双语学校“热爱+勤奋，用创造预见美好未来——2021教师节庆祝大会”在学校剧场召开，全体教职员工参与了会议。

At 2 p.m. that day, starting with a song by the school choir, VBS held the 2021 Teacher's Day celebration in the theater. All teaching staff participated in the celebration.

Teachers and students of the school have won awards in various competitions. Students' scores are among the best in the high school entrance examination and the unified examination of Longhua District.

Principal Yang encourages teachers to be confident, strive for VBS and the growth of students, dare to take responsibility, take care of children with sincere love, and do their best to be the best teachers.

为表彰与学校风雨同舟、砥砺前行的老师和团队，学校分别设立“坚守·奋斗奖”、“盘古奖”、“担当奖”、“雁阵奖”，杨帆校长与林红英校长助理分别为获奖者颁发了奖状。获奖教师代表纷纷发表感言，表示将继续努力，用热爱与勤奋，创造更加美好的未来。

To commend the teachers and teams who have always been with the school, the school has set up the Perseverance Award, Pangu Award, Responsibility Award, and Team Award. Principal Yang and Assistant Principal Ms. Lin presented certificates to the winners. The representatives of the award-winning teachers made speeches one after another, saying that they would continue to work hard to create a better future with love and diligence.

A video from the students made the teachers laugh. The children expressed their gratitude to teachers with naive words.

会上，三位青年教师分别为在教师这个岗位上坚守了30余年的三位老师（杨帆校长、李宏宇老师、金怀红老师）献上了鲜花。

这是我30年教育生涯中心灵最澄澈、最快乐、最单纯、心里最轻松的教师节。在我的那封信发出后，得到了家长的热烈响应，孩子、家长都用最质朴、最自由、最真诚的方式表达了对学校、对老师们以及对我个人的感谢。这就是万双气质！

This is the most relaxing Teacher's Day in my 30-year education career. After I sent my letter, children and parents expressed their gratitude to the school, teachers, and me in the most simple, free, and sincere way.

在这个教师节庆祝会上，我提点希望：一是希望老师们做个不断成长的老师。万双是学生、老师、家长共同成长的地方。老师们在万双理念、课程的大潮裹挟下，要快步成长。孩子们天天都在催你呢！你看，初三的孩子需要我们打破数学课的常规任课模式，林校就带头做了改变；孩子们的心灵特别需要抚慰，佳佳老师就带领团队把人生规划课外沿到了家庭；识字是小学语文重要的内容，蒋雪莹老师就创造了字卡识字法……竭尽全力，创造适合学生成长的教育，就是我们成长的方向。二是希望老师们做个自信、坚定的老师。所有的职业中教师是最长久的。无论世界怎么变，无论社会怎么变，教师这个职业不会有翻天覆地的变化，不会让你恐慌，因为它的主题永恒不变，那就是爱。它是人类共同的语言。呵护孩子成长是我们永远的工作，简单、清晰。我们理应为选择这个职业而感到幸福、感到安心，并为此坚定不移，竭尽全力。

At this Teacher's Day celebration, firstly, I hope teachers can keep growing. VBS is a place where students, teachers, and parents grow up together. The students in Grade 9 needed us to break the conventional teaching model of Math, and Assistant Principal Ms. Lin took the lead in making changes. The children's hearts needed to be comforted. Ms. Zheng Jiajia led the team to bring life planning classes to the family. Literacy is an important content of primary school Chinese lessons. Ms. Jiang Xueying created the word card for literacy. Making every effort to create an education suitable for students' growth is the direction of our growth. Secondly, I hope teachers can be confident. No matter how the world or society changes, education will not change dramatically because its theme will never change. That is love. It is the common language of mankind. Taking care of children's growth is our eternal work.

学校设立“坚守·奋斗奖”、“盘古奖”、“担当奖”、“雁阵奖”，其内在含义就是：为万双、为学生成长而奋斗，珍惜万双者也是万双最珍惜的人，最终会幻化成万双文化沉淀下来，他们最终将得到沉甸甸的金质奖章；像盘古一样为万双的理念和课程设置的落实做出开天辟地的努力，这样的人和团队永远载入万双史册；万双发展不会一帆风顺，在学生、同仁、学校有困难时，不计个人得失，勇于担当，是万双会永远铭记的人，他们的精神在万双永远流传；一群人才能走得远，好的团队就像“头雁带领的雁阵”，是万双系统最有力量的部分，好团队要大力表彰。

The school has set up the Perseverance Award, Pangu Award, Responsibility Award, and Team Award. Its internal meaning is that those who strive for VBS and the growth of students are also the most cherished people of VBS. They made efforts to implement VBS's concept and curriculum. 自主学习意识和能力的培养，是万双的日常。这要求教师和学生深度变革教与学的方式，充分激发学生学习的内驱力，让学习变成一场有趣的旅程。为此，学校在开学前夕充分发挥网络优势，通过DLC中国深度学习中心组织，与美国High tech high学校的导师们跨越时空连线，开展了为期一周的暑期在线培训。High tech high是一所以创新闻名于世的学校，也是PBL理念的创史学校。从理念到实际行动，我们都做好了准备，为学生更好地成长打下了坚实的基础。

The cultivation of self-learning consciousness and ability is the daily work of VBS, which requires teachers and students to change their way of teaching and learning. The DLC China deep learning center carried out online training with High Tech High school tutors in the United States.
