万双网讯 为构建良性教育科创生态体系，让学校成为滋润科学精神的土壤，2021年5月24日，华大基因向万科双语学校捐赠基因测序仪仪式暨万科双语学校“科学家日”首场学术报告会在万科双语学校剧场隆重举行。通过答题获得入场券的175名优秀学子和部分老师现场参与了活动，全校师生观看了现场直播。
VBS News Net: The ceremony of BGI's Donation of Gene Sequencer to VBS and the first symposium of VBS Scientist Day was held on May 24. 175 students and some teachers who got tickets by answering questions participated in the activity, and all teachers and students watched the live broadcast.

Deputy Director of BGI Commerce Department Ms. Xin Peipei also gave a speech at the ceremony. She pointed out that as the world's leading genomics testing and research service provider, BGI, adhering to the mission of bringing benefits to humans through technology, has made outstanding contributions to scientific research and popular science education for young people. In October 2020, Meisha education and BGI officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. ICG-15 was held in Wuhan from October 25 to October 31, with many experts attending. Yao Junxi, Chairperson of VBS Science and Engineering Student Society, made the speech titled 'The possibility of genes in future' as a secondary school representative and received compliments.
2020年11月，万科双语学校44名中小学生带着浓浓的好奇心，前往位于深圳大鹏半岛的国家基因库进行参观学习，了解基因是如何被测序的，基因研究的意义。
44 VBS students went for an excursion to CNGB at Dapeng Peninsula on November 15.
2021年2月，万科双语学校在初中开设《有趣的基因》选修课，特邀华大基因学院科普项目经理李瑜琪授课，24名同学选修。这是一堂基因科学启蒙课程，李老师通过深入浅出地讲述基因科学知识，对自然和社会生活进行多方位观察，引导学生用基因科学的视角来发现和了解世界，为学生构建基因科学的基础知识框架。
In February, VBS opened an elective course on genes in junior high school. Li Yuqi, the science popularization project manager of BGI college, was invited to teach the course. 24 students took part in the courses. This is an enlightenment course. Ms. Li guides students to discover and understand the world and constructs the basic knowledge framework of genes.
