万双网讯  “让我们以热爱与勤奋，奔跑在奋斗与充满希望的春光里。”2月18日清晨，万科双语学校全体教职员工以一场乐跑开启了新学期新的征程。学校开学工作会暨教师职业发展学院系列活动井然有序展开。

VBS News Net: ‘Let’s run in the hopeful spring and struggle with love and diligence.’ In the early morning of February 18th, all teachers and staffs of VBS started a new semester with a fun run. VBS staff conference was held and The Academy for Teachers Professional Development launched a series of activities.

当天，在杨帆校长的带领下，全校近200名教职员工参与了乐跑活动。杨校长身先士卒，率先垂范，希望全校员工热爱运动，以健康的身心做好学生的表率，引领学生健康成长。每一位员工的脸上洋溢着欢快的笑容。

On the same day, under the leadership of Principal Yang, nearly 200 teachers and staffs participated in the fun running activity. Principal Yang took the lead and set an example as she hoped that all school staffs could love sports and set a good example for students, making them grow up healthily. There was a cheerful smile on every staffs' face.

上午11点，学校开学工作会在剧场召开。杨校长再次详细解读了学校三年规划目标、学校组织管理方式和本学期工作计划。其中包括加强教师队伍建设、构建课堂教学文化、完善中西融合的课程体系和学生成长资源课程体系等，重点培养学生阅读能力和体育精神，保障每个学生的健康成长、学力提升。学校将以创新的组织管理形式支撑万双创造性的探索实践，让每一位老师像专家一样成长，用热爱与勤奋，成为最好的老师。

At 11 am, VBS Staff Conference was held in the school theater. Principal Yang explained the school's three-year planning, school management methods and working plan for this semester, which included strengthening the construction of the teachers, building a teaching culture, improving Chinese and Western curriculum system, filling up the curriculum system of students’ growing resources and focusing on cultivating students' reading ability and sports spirit to ensure that each student can grow up healthily with the improvement of academic ability. VBS will provide innovative management so that every teacher can grow up like an expert and become the best teacher with love and diligence.

下午2点，万科双语学校特邀深圳市继续教育课程开发及授课专家、湖南卫视教育顾问、北师大教育论著写作导师、学校品牌研究院副院长武宏伟先生为全体教师做了专题讲座。他以“没有‘写’就没有教师的成长和发展” 为主题，以自己的成长经历为榜样，详细阐述了写作是教师成长和发展的催化剂，是丰富知识，提升思想认识的最有效途径，是吸收、总结经验教训的最重要手段，并对如何选取写作素材、提高写作水平、投稿技巧等进行了深入浅出的介绍。他希望老师们勤为径，苦作舟，让不懈的写作，成为生命的自觉。

At 2 pm, Mr. Wu Hongwei, an expert of continuing education，an education consultant for Hunan TV, an educational writing tutor at Beijing Normal University, who is also the deputy dean of the School Brand Research Institute was invited to give lectures to all teachers. With the theme that teachers couldn’t grow up without writing and his own growth experience as an example, he elaborated that writing was a catalyst for teachers’ growth and development and was the most effective way to enrich knowledge and enhance understanding. It was the most important mean for absorbing and summarizing experience as it provided in-depth and simple introductions on how to select writing materials, improve writing skills and submit manuscripts. He hoped that teachers would work diligently and make writing become their consciousness.

在互动环节中, 老师们争相提问。武宏伟先生用自己丰富的教学经验为老师们答疑解惑，让老师们受益匪浅。

In the interactive session, teachers rushed to ask questions. Mr. Wu used his rich teaching experience to answer questions for the teachers and benefited them a lot.

万科双语学校新学期开学工作会暨教师职业发展学院系列活动为老师们明确了工作目标和个人成长目标，并提供了成为专家型教师的途径和方法，为新学期学校各项工作的顺利开展指明了方向，奠定了根基。

VBS staff conference and the activities launched by The Academy for Teachers Professional Development which pointed out the direction for the school work in the new semester have clarified working and personal growth goals for teachers and provided them with ways to become expert teachers.
