【跨学科融合】橡皮泥真的能弹音乐吗?——万科双语学校STEAM跨学科融合课开展创新型实践

万双网讯  橡皮泥真的能弹音乐吗?2020年12月21—25日,万科双语学校三年级的同学们便在STEAM课上进行了生动有趣的实践,运用人工智能、音乐、科学三个学科的知识,巧妙地让橡皮泥“学会了弹音乐”。


VBS News Net: Can we play music by plasticine? VBS Primary 3 students applied knowledge learnt from AI, Music and Science to play music by plasticine in STEAM classes held from 21st December to 25th December. 


此次课程历时5个星期的筹备,由人工智能、音乐、科学三个学科的老师交流、探讨、合作完成。


This STEAM class was prepared by teachers from AI, Music and Science for five weeks after many rounds of discussions and collaborations.

课上,科学老师赵芮为同学们讲解电路知识,知道电路要闭合才能形成电流,并通过对比实验,知道人体、湿橡皮泥都是导体,通过在主板里编写好的程序,实现让橡皮泥弹出音乐。


Mr. Zhao taught electric circuits knowledge during Science class so that students understood that current could flow in a closed circuit. They also learned that both human bodies and humid plasticine were conductors to achieve playing music by plasticine using the programmes written in the motherboard.

音乐老师潘亦兰为同学们讲解了简谱、音阶的知识,让同学们聆听《送别》这首歌的简谱,找出歌曲中的音符,学会排列组合。


Ms. Pan explained the simple music theory and went through the score of the song 'Farewell' with students so that they would know how to make music with notes.

人工智能老师彭平指导同学们进行编程,学会添加音乐和makeymakey拓展模块,并通过电路连接和编程,完成乐曲演奏。


Mr. Peng guided students to do programming by adding music and makeymakey add-in modules before connecting to electric circuit to complete the playing.

学习过程中,同学们表现出了强烈的好奇心与求知欲,他们分组合作,两位同学负责编程,两位同学负责硬件的连接。在合作与交流中,同学们不断反思、改进,积极寻求老师的帮助,最终每个小组都出色地完成了学习任务,奏出了动听的乐曲《送别》。


Students showed inquisitiveness and the eagerness to learn. They worked in groups - two were in charge of programming while the other two connected the hardware. They sought assistance from teachers and reflected to improve their work by communicating with one another. Finally every group completed their task and played the song 'Farewell'.























万科双语学校STEAM课程基于教学目标的需要,关注多学科融合并创作出作品。本节课是前置课程,通过简单的弹音乐编程,让三年级的学生超前体验硬件与软件带来的乐趣,增强孩子们对科学、音乐、编程的乐趣,激发了学生进行科学探究的内驱力。学生在一节课里学习到各科知识,提高了综合运用各学科解决一个问题的意识。后续学生将根据融合课所学,自行编程实现新的歌曲,并连接电路弹奏出来,以达到深度学习的目的。


Based on the needs of teaching objectives, VBS STEAM classes focus on the work produced by inter-disciplinary teaching. This lesson is a preamble to motivate students to explore science research and increase their interests in Science, Music and Programming by experiencing the hardware and software and simple music programming for Primary 3 students. Students can learn knowledge across different subjects so that they enhance their awareness on solving problems. They will achieve indepth learning after doing programming themselves and connecting to electric circuit to play the songs.
