万双网讯  为强化学生安全意识，提高学生安全防范和自救意识，掌握应对突发火灾的逃生技能和路线，10月30日下午4时，万科双语学校举办消防安全疏散演练活动，全校师生600余人参加。

VBS News Net: VBS held a fire drill at 4pm, 30th October to reinforce students' safety awareness and self-protection skills towards emergency as well as familiarising with the escape routes in the school. More then 600 people took part in this fire drill.

经过前期周密部署，本次安全疏散用时2分50秒，全校600多名师生便从教室安全撤离到操场。安全主管张昆向同学们介绍了日常消防器材，如消防水带、水枪、消防防火服、消防斧、消防扳手和干粉灭火器等设备器材。

With the detailed planning beforehand, it took 2 minutes and 50 seconds for all teachers and students evacuate from the building to the playground at this fire drill. Security Supervisor, Mr Zhang Kun introduced the fire fighting apparatus such as hoses, axes, uniforms and fire extinguishers.

杨帆校长在会上强调，安全是学校工作的重点，是第一位的。每一位师生都要重视安全工作，记住逃生路线，在重大事件发生时要服从指挥，有序撤离，保证安全。

Principal Yang reiterated the safety always came first in daily operation at VBS. Everyone had to take it seriously, remember the escape routes and follow the instructions during evacuation in order to keep everyone safe.

本次演习活动增强了全校师生的安全意识和自救自护能力，为创建安全文明校园夯实了基础。

Besides building the foundation on a civilised and safe campus, this fire drill reinforced the safety awareness and self-protection skills.
