【STEM+】在综合应用中感受数学与编程的魅力——VBS开展人工智能与数学融合课

万双网讯  作为深圳市教育局“教育部教育信息化‘双区’智慧教育示范校培育对象”(全市仅40所),万科双语学校积极开展多学科、多学段STEM+融合课程。2022年11月至12月,人工智能与数学融合课在六年级和七年级开展。吴海鸥、熊旺、张泽明、赵仕阳等老师共同教研设计。


As the Shenzhen Education Bureau's "Ministry of Education Education Information 'Dual Zone' Smart Education Demonstration School Cultivation Target", Vanke Bilingual School actively develops multi-disciplinary and multi-stage STEM+ integration courses. From November to December 2022, the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics will be carried out in the sixth and seventh grades. Wu Haiou, Xiong Wang, Zhang Zeming, Zhao Shiyang and other teachers jointly taught and researched the design.

形形色色的统计图

Various statistical charts


“什么统计图可以呈现这一学期数学成绩的变化?什么统计图可以表示班级学生最喜欢的体育运动分布情况?” 11月22日-24日,这一个个数学问题由数学老师在人工智能课堂上提出。在融合课之前,学生会分组调查班级同学的身高情况,统计班上学生最喜欢的体育运动。融合课上,在数学老师的引导下,学生回顾了条形统计图、折线统计图、扇形统计图的特点和应用场景。


"What graph can show the change in math grades this semester? What graph can show the distribution of students' favorite sports in the class?"From November 22nd to 24th, these math problems were raised by the math teacher in the Artificial Intelligence class. Before the integration class, the students will investigate the height of the students in the class in groups, and count the sports that the students like most in the class.In the integration class, under the guidance of the Mathematics teacher, the students reviewed the characteristics and application scenarios of bar charts, line charts, and sector charts.

紧接着,人工智能老师介绍了如何用程序生成图表。学生要对收集来的数据进行分类、统计等整理,最后,用程序将图表生成出来


Immediately afterwards, the Artificial Intelligence teacher introduced how to generate charts with programs. Students should classify and make statistics on the collected data, and finally, use the program to generate the graph.

在这样的融合课中,学生从真实的生活入手,亲历调查、统计、分析数据和生成统计图的过程,不仅加深了对统计图的理解,也提升了应用编程技术解决真实问题的能力,激发了学生用技术改变生活的内驱力

“这两位同学到底谁抓星星更厉害一些呢?大家可要仔细看好哦!”课程一开始,人工智能老师就用一个抓星星的小游戏调动了全班的积极性。星星出现的总次数不同,两位同学击中星星的次数也不同,到底谁更厉害,该如何比较呢?


"Which of these two students is better at catching stars? Everyone, please watch carefully!"At the beginning of the course, the Artificial Intelligence teacher mobilized the enthusiasm of the whole class with a small game of catching stars. The total number of times the stars appear is different, and the number of times the two students hit the stars is also different. Who is more powerful and how to compare?

这是12月8日-13日开展的数学和人工智能的融合课,由六年级数学老师和人工智能老师共同教研而成,融合了六年级上册分数、百分数的相关知识。课堂一开始,数学老师适时引导学生回顾百分数、分数的定义和转化等相关知识。


This is a fusion course of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence held from December 8th to 13th. It was jointly taught and researched by sixth grade Mathematics teachers and Artificial Intelligence teachers.At the beginning of the class, the Mathematics teacher guides the students to review relevant knowledge such as percentages, definitions and conversions of fractions.

紧接着,人工智能老师借助程序,引导学生更直观地呈现百分数,思考如何绘制击中次数所对应的圆环、以及未击中次数对应的圆弧,循序渐进,逐步推演出圆环的绘制方法。在此过程中,学生加强了对分数、百分数的理解,感受了百分数在真实情境中的应用


Immediately afterwards, the Artificial Intelligence teacher used the program to guide students to present percentages more intuitively, think about how to draw the circle corresponding to the number of hits, and the arc corresponding to the number of misses, step by step, and gradually deduce the drawing method of the circle.During this process, students strengthened their understanding of fractions and percentages, and experienced the application of percentages in real situations.

很多学生添加了自己的创意,将抓星星游戏变得更难、更有挑战。学生间相互体验着自己升级改造后的游戏,玩得不亦乐乎。

这堂融合课,从一开始由游戏体验带来的思考,到问题的解决,再到作品的优化提升,学生不仅要灵活应用数学知识,更要熟练应用编程技巧,在综合应用中感受数学和编程的魅力。
