万双网讯  2022年12月12日，万科双语学校2022-2023第一学期第十六周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式主持由7E和7F 班承担。7E和7F班是两个阳光向上的班集体。51名未来少年风华正茂、充满活力，面对困难，他们互帮互助；面对荣耀，他们互相分享；面对未来，他们共同奋进。他们在“今天永远比昨天进步一点点”的精神激励下百折不挠，勇往直前。

On December 12, the flag-raising ceremony of the 16th week of the first semester of 2022-2023 Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school playground. Classes 7E and 7F hosted the flag-raising ceremony this week. Classes 7E and 7F are two sunny classes. The 51 young people are full of vigor and vitality. In the face of difficulties, they help each other; in the face of glory, they share with each other; in the face of the future, they forge ahead together.Inspired by the spirit of "today is always a little better than yesterday", they are indomitable and march forward bravely.

The flag-raising ceremony was presided over by Mu Rui and Tong Hua from Class 7E. Liu Yiling and Zhang Zhiyuan from Class 7F gave a speech under the national flag. The title of their speech was "Mourn in the name of the nation, Remember in the name of history.” Ms. Yang Yijuan, the first secretary of the station, shared current affairs.

Dear teachers and students, good morning!

今天我们国旗下演讲的主题是“以国之名悼念，以史之名缅怀”。

The theme of our speech today is “Mourn in the name of the nation, Remember in the name of history.”

当战争的号角吹响，那就意味着一场血淋淋的杀戮历史；当血色的枪口指向城镇，多少孩子凄凉的呼唤无人回应……

When the horn of war sounds, it means a bloody history of killing; When the bloody muzzle of the gun points to the town, how many children's desolate cries go unanswered……

1937年12月13日，日本侵略者——一支毫无人性的军队在南京进行了长达6周的血腥屠杀。他们采用种种灭绝人性的手段来残杀中国人民。昔日繁华的南京城尸堆如山，血流成河，大街小巷，防空洞里，处处都有中国人民的尸体。30万人，整整30万人倒在了血泊当中。顿时，南京城成了人间地狱，魔鬼的天堂。侵华日军在中国，在南京留下了人类历史上最野蛮，最可耻的一页。许多幸存者活在今世都难以平复当年心中的阴影与仇恨。

On December 13, 1937, an inhuman army of Japanese invaders carried out a six-week bloody massacre in Nanjing. They used all kinds of inhuman means to kill the Chinese people. There are the bodies of the Chinese people everywhere in the former bustling city ---Nanjing. Suddenly, the city of Nanjing became a hell on earth, the devil's paradise. Japanese invaders in China left the human history of the most barbaric, and the most shameful page in Nanjing. Many of the survivors struggle to live with the shadows and hatred today.

今天，我们站在这里，站在国旗下沐浴着阳光，享受着当今幸福的一切。但我们却不能忘记那刻在每个中国人心里的那一道伤疤。这，是如同烙铁一般殷红的屈辱与伤疤！每个中国人都不会忘记，那惨绝人寰的“南京大屠杀”！明天，就是12月13日南京大屠杀公祭日。这血淋淋的一段历史激励着我们前进，迈向更远的明天。让我们记住这一天，让我们万双学子同所有中国人民一起“以国之名悼念，以史之名缅怀”。

Today, we are standing here and enjoying all the happiness of the current life. But we can't forget the scar that engraved in every Chinese heart. Every Chinese will never forget the bloody “Nanjing Massacre”! Tomorrow will be the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Day on December 13. This bloody history inspires us to move forward, towards a further tomorrow. Let us remember this day and let us all the students go together with all the Chinese people in “mourning in the name of the country and remembering in the name of history”.

我是第一书记杨艺娟，今天我讲话的主题是：坚持人与自然和谐共生，共建清洁美丽世界。

I am Yang Yijuan, the First Secretary. The theme of my speech today is: Adhere to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature, and jointly build a clean and beautiful world.

《生物多样性公约》缔约方大会第十五次会议(COP15)第二阶段会议“坚持人与自然和谐共生 共建清洁美丽世界”边会于12月7日在加拿大蒙特利尔举办。

The side event of the second phase of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) "Persisting in Harmonious Coexistence between Man and Nature to Build a Clean and Beautiful World" was held in Montreal, Canada on December 7.

与会国际人士对中国生物多样性保护的实践给予积极评价，并共同期待第二阶段会议通过“2020年后全球生物多样性框架”，开启生物多样性治理新征程。

International participants spoke positively of China's biodiversity conservation practices, and looked forward to the adoption of the "Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework" at the second phase of the meeting, which will start a new journey of biodiversity governance.

通过多年努力，中国生物多样性保护取得了显著成效，有效保护了90%的陆地生态系统类型和74%的国家重点保护野生动植物种群，新增森林面积居世界首位，300多种珍稀濒危野生动植物野外种群得到了很好的恢复。

Through years of hard work, China's biodiversity conservation has achieved remarkable results, effectively protecting 90% of terrestrial ecosystem types and 74% of national key protected wild animal and plant populations. The newly added forest area ranks first in the world, and the populations of more than 300 rare and endangered wild animals and plants have been well restored.

联合国代表表示，中国国家主席习近平提出“美丽中国”的理念，这一理念具有积极的意义，调动了民众的爱国情怀，使自然保护成为一种向善的力量。

The representative of the United Nations said that Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward the concept of "Beautiful China", which has positive significance, mobilized the patriotic feelings of the people, and made nature protection a force for good.

中方代表指出，展望未来，中国将推进实施生物多样性保护重大工程和生态系统保护修复措施，以自然之道，养万物之生，寻求绿色发展新机遇。习近平总书记在二十大报告中提出，中国式现代化是人与自然和谐共生的现代化。

The Chinese representative pointed out that looking forward to the future, China will promote the implementation of major biodiversity conservation projects and ecosystem protection and restoration measures, and seek new opportunities for green development by using the natural way to nourish all living things.

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in his report to the 20th National Congress that Chinese-style modernization is a modernization in which man and nature coexist harmoniously.

万双PBL项目式学习里有不少同学以研究大自然、生态、环保为主题，说明同学们也是共建清洁美丽世界的小主人呢，希望同学们放眼未来，热爱大自然，勤奋探索大自然的发展规律，参与世界环境保护进程，让中国式现代化进一步实现人与自然和谐共生，共建清洁美丽世界。

In the VBS PBL practical course, many students study nature, ecology, and environmental protection as the theme, which shows that the students are also the little masters who jointly build a clean and beautiful world. I hope that students look to the future, love nature, diligently explore the law of development of nature, and participate in the process of world environmental protection, so that Chinese-style modernization can further realize the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, and jointly build a clean and beautiful world.

2022年12月12日，深圳市义务教育阶段民办学校办学水平评估专家组莅临万科双语学校开展办学水平评估工作。当天，杨帆校长号召全校师生以饱满的热情迎接评估组专家的到来。

On December 12, 2022, the Shenzhen Compulsory Education Stage Private School Evaluation Expert Group visited Vanke Bilingual School to carry out the evaluation work.
