万双网讯  日前，在第二届“中国少年说”外语演讲比赛中，万科双语学校8名学生荣获一等奖，5名学生荣获二等奖，3名学生荣获三等奖，20名学生荣获优秀奖，6名老师荣获优秀指导老师奖。

A few days ago, in the 2nd "Chinese Youth Talk" Foreign Language Speech Contest, 8 students from Vanke Bilingual School won the first prize, 5 students won the second prize, 3 students won the third prize, and 20 students won the excellence award. 6 teachers won the Excellent Instructor Award.

“中国少年说”外语演讲比赛是由龙华区委外办发起、龙华区创新开展的首个以外语讲述中国文化的团体式、多语种、创新型青少年演讲大赛，旨在推进龙华国际形象提升，引导青少年传承中国优秀传统文化，善用世界语言讲好中国故事，促进全区青少年国际化发展。

The "Chinese Youth Talk" Foreign Language Speech Contest is initiated by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Longhua District Committee and innovatively carried out by Longhua District. It is the first group, multilingual, and innovative youth speech contest to describe Chinese culture in a foreign language. It aims to promote the improvement of Longhua's international image. Guide young people to inherit China's excellent traditional culture, make good use of world languages to tell Chinese stories, and promote the international development of young people in the region.

大赛根据参赛者学龄划分不同组别，从演讲内容、演讲技巧、语言水平、创新创意、视听效果几个方面进行评比。万双学子在比赛视频中用流利的英语和出色的演讲技巧，介绍了中国茶文化、戏曲文化、节日文化以及孔融让梨、花木兰代父从军等故事。经过激烈角逐，万科双语学校36名同学获奖，展示了万双学子卓越的演讲能力和英语口语水平。

The competition is divided into different groups according to the school age of the participants, and the evaluation will be carried out in terms of speech content, speech skills, language proficiency, innovation and creativity, and audio-visual effects. In the competition video, VBS students used fluent English and speech skills to introduce Chinese tea culture, opera culture, festival culture, and the stories of Kong Rong letting pears and Hua Mulan joining the army instead of her father. After fierce competition, 36 students from Vanke Bilingual School won the prizes, demonstrating the excellent speech ability and oral English level of VBS students.

Over the past four years since the school was established, Vanke Bilingual School has created an original VBS multi-curriculum system that integrates Chinese and Western cultures.
