万双网讯  2022年 10月 31 日，万科双语学校2022-2023第一学期第十周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由五年级G班和V班共同承担。5G班和5V班都是非常团结向上、拼搏进取的集体。

VBS Net News   On 31st October, 2022, VBS students assembled for the 10th week of the first semester of 2022-2023 Flag raising ceremony. This assembly was hosted by Class 5 G and Class 5V. Both classes are very united and strive for the best.

升旗仪式由5G班的彭诗岚同学和 5V班的王晨瑞同学主持。5G班的高婕熙同学和5V班的史若琳同学进行了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是《 营造书香校园，共创美好人生》。 学校团委书记陈佳敏老师进行了时事热点分享。

The assembly was hosted by Peng Shilan from Class 5G and Wang Chenrui from Class 5V. Gao Jiexi from Class 5G and Shi Ruolin from Class 5V made a speech under the national flag. The topic of their speech was "Let reading atmosphere overflow on campus and live a better life". Chen Jiamin shared some current affairs.

“书是人类进步的阶梯”，人类一点一滴的进步都离不开书籍。通过阅读，我们可以少走弯路，可以站在前人的肩膀上看世界，可以踏着这些“阶梯”不断地向上攀登，实现自我的价值。

The famous English writer Francis Bacon said “Reading makes a full man and writing an exact man" .Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. "Every bit of human progress can not be separated from reading. Through reading, we can broaden our vision and realize our own values on the shoulders of great men.

深圳读书月，是由深圳市委市政府于2000年创立并举办的一项大型综合性群众读书文化活动，时间为每年的11月1日至30日。深圳读书月秉承营造书香社会、实现市民文化权利的宗旨，以“阅读·进步·和谐”为总主题，着力于提升市民素质，建设学习型城市。

Reading is so important that Shenzhen government held reading month activity from November 1st to 30th . The purpose of the day is to inspire all people to read and write, improving our general literacy. We all should appreciate the literary and cultural masters who have made great contributions to human civilization.

作为新时代的少年，我们也要多读书、多思考，一起营造良好的校园读书文化，创造美好的未来。从前辈那里学习有益的经验，继承他们探索过的知识，在书香里健康成长。

As teenagers in the new era, we should also read more and think more, trying to learn useful experiences from masters, inherit the knowledge they have explored, and build up our own thinking.

那一本本书中，藏着一个个生动有趣的故事，“躲”着一个个栩栩如生的伙伴。在书中，我们穿越时空，与快乐的小豆豆、淘气的埃米尔交流，与冰心奶奶、张天翼爷爷谈心。在心与书的交流中，我们的心田得到滋润，我们的思想也变得深刻。

In books, there are interesting stories and honest companions. In books, we can travel through time and space to communicate with many great men in the history. During the process, our mind would be nourished and our thoughts would become profound.

为营造浓厚的校园阅读氛围，我们也呼吁各班一起加入书香校园的活动建设中来，那独具匠心、充满书香韵味的班级图书角，那环境优美、温馨安静的图书馆，都是我们校园里最靓丽的风景线。而开展丰富多彩的读书活动，也可以让阅读成为我们日常的一种生活方式，帮助我们更加快乐地成长。

In order to create better reading atmosphere on campus, we call on all students to join in our daily reading activity. The class book corner and the library are our great resources.

当然，读书是我们一辈子都要做的事，我们在书中汲取知识，积累精神财富，抚慰心灵，感受书中那些句子的美妙，在无助时得到慰藉，在失意时获得力量。未来少年们，让我们一起行动起来，终生读书，终生成长吧！

From books, We can learn knowledge, accumulate spiritual wealth, comfort our hearts, feel the beauty of the sentences in books, get comfort when we are helpless, and gain strength when we are frustrated. 10月28日是世界动画日。同学们，你们都很喜欢动画，万双也有好多个动画社团。今天，我想和大家聊聊咱们中国动画的发展历史。

October 28th is World Animation Day. Students, you all like animation, and VBS also has many animation clubs. Today, I want to talk to you about the development history of our Chinese animation.

你们知道中国的第一部动画片叫什么名字吗？叫《苏振东华文打字机》。这是100年前，也就是1922年，被称为中国动画事业先驱的万氏兄弟制作出的中国第一部带有广告性质的动画短片。虽然只有短短的1分钟，它却揭开了中国动画史的第一页。

Do you know the name of the first cartoon in China? It is called "Su Zhendong Chinese Typewriter". This is 100 years ago, that is, in 1922, the first animation short film with advertisement produced by the Wan Brothers, known as the pioneers of China's animation industry. Although it was only 1 minute, it opened the first page of Chinese animation history.

在战火连天的1941年，长达80分钟的中国第一部动画长片《铁扇公主》一经上映，便轰动了整个上海滩。

In the war-torn 1941, the 80-minute long Chinese first animated feature "Princess Iron Fan" was released, and it caused a sensation in Shanghai.

20年后的1961年，《大闹天宫》上映，成功地为孙悟空这一角色塑造出了使人熟悉的经典形象，更是影响了后世许多孙悟空题材的作品，这其中就包括大家非常熟悉的86版《西游记》连续剧。

Twenty years later, in 1961, "Havoc in Heaven" was released, which successfully created a familiar classic image for the role of Monkey King, and also influenced many works on the theme of Monkey King in later generations, including the one that everyone is very familiar with. 86 edition of "Journey to the West" series.

之后，一大批优秀动画电影相继问世，比如说有《哪吒闹海》《天书奇谭》《黑猫警长》《葫芦娃》《舒克贝塔》等等，这些上世纪的经典中国动画是很多70后、80后和90后共同的童年记忆。 

After that, a large number of excellent animated films came out one after another, such as "Nezha Troubles the Sea", "Mysterious Books", "Black Cat Sheriff", "Hulu Baby", "Shuke Beta", etc. These classic Chinese animations of the last century are Many post-70s, 80s and 90s share childhood memories.

咱们万双的学生都是00后和10后，我听说你们喜欢《奇妙萌可》《百变校巴》《汪汪队》《巴拉巴拉小魔仙》《大耳朵图图》《果宝特攻》《电击小子》《猪猪侠》等等，也有很多你们喜欢的动画人物，他们正义善良、机智勇敢、可爱风趣。

VBS students are all post-00s and post-10s. I heard that you like "Wonderful Cute", "Variety School Bus", "PAW Patrol", "Balabara Little Devil", "Big Ear Tutu" and "Guobao Special Attack" "Danger Boy", "Pig Man" and so on, there are also many animated characters you like. They are righteous, kind, witty, brave, cute and funny.

随着我国动画事业的发展，推出了越来越多剧情优良、制作用心，而且弘扬主旋律的一些优质动画片。中国动画片让人们感到欢乐的同时，也可以感受我们中华文化的魅力或者是神话故事里人物的个性。

With the development of my country's animation industry, more and more high-quality animations with excellent plots, production intentions, and the main theme have been launched. While Chinese cartoons make people feel happy, they can also feel the charm of our Chinese culture or the personalities of the characters in mythological stories.

今年是中国动画诞生的100年，中国动画，不管是传统手绘动画，还是三维动画，或者是材料动画，他们的制作都是非常成熟的。不仅如此，在动画片领域里，还有很多中国优秀毕业生，他们的动画小短片在国际上也获得了很多的奖项。中国动画是幸运的，回望过去，我们有取之不尽、用之不竭的经典文学和中式美学作为土壤，未来也一定会带着文化自信，深耕出更好的具有中国特色的动画作品。

This year is the 100th year of the birth of Chinese animation. Chinese animation, whether it is traditional hand-drawn animation, 3D animation, or material animation, their production is very mature. Not only that, in the field of animation, there are many outstanding Chinese graduates, and their animation short films have also won many international awards. Chinese animation is lucky. Looking back on the past, we have inexhaustible classic literature and Chinese aesthetics as the soil. In the future, we will definitely bring cultural confidence and cultivate better animation works with Chinese characteristics.

从万氏兄弟的一分钟动画广告，到手描笔绘、定格拍摄，再到电脑绘制、三维渲染，100年来，中国动画在探索中砥砺前行，开创了独具特色的中国学派。党的二十大报告提出，推进文化自信自强，铸就社会主义文化新辉煌。此时此刻，我们一起展望中国动画的新未来。

From the one-minute animation advertisement of the Wan Brothers, to hand-drawing and stop-motion shooting, to computer drawing and 3D rendering, over the past 100 years, Chinese animation has forged ahead in exploration and created a unique Chinese school. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to promote cultural self-confidence and self-improvement, and create a new glory of socialist culture. At this moment, we look forward to the new future of Chinese animation together.

万双的学生社团里也有不少动画、动漫主题社团，我希望万双的未来少年们在社团活动中既能传承中国优秀的传统文化，更能创新、自信地为中华文化增光添彩。

There are also many animation and animation-themed clubs in VBS’s student clubs. I hope that the future youths of VBS can not only inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture in the club activities, but also be able to innovate and confidently add luster to Chinese culture.
