万双网讯  2022年5月9日，万科双语学校举办2021-2022第二学期第十三周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由4E和4G班承担。4E、4G班是两个团结友爱、积极向上的集体。

On May 9th, 2022, Vanke Bilingual School held the flag raising ceremony in the 13th week of the second semester 2021-2022. The flag raising ceremony of this week was undertaken by Class 4E and Class 4G. Class 4E and Class 4G are two groups which are united, friendly and positive.

升旗仪式由4E班的吴玥辰和4G班陈迩郗主持。4E班孔令豪和4G卜添翼同学做了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是《竞技绿茵场 闪亮万小双》。杨帆校长和2X班钟泽俊同学开球并宣布VBS第四届足球联赛开幕。同时，初中部学生会主席韩粟茼做了“科学家日”主题演讲。

The flag raising ceremony was presided over by Wu Yuechen from Class 4E and Chen Erxi from Class 4G. Kong Linghao from Class 4E and Pu Tianyi from Class 4G gave a speech under the national flag. The topic of their speech is “Compete on the Playground  Brightest Wan Xiaoshuang”. Principal Yang and George from 2X to announced the opening of the Football League. At the same time, the chairman of the students union Hunter gave a speech about “Scientist Day”.

大家早上好！

Good morning!

一年好景五月天，动感四溢火热时,迎着五月的风，同学们期待的班级足球联赛来啦！

We are standing here in the cool summer wind，looking forward to the football league. Finally, it comes!

去年同学们在绿茵场上挥洒汗水、团结拼搏的样子还历历在目，今天我们又迎来了同学们翘首期盼的第四届“万小双杯”班级足球联赛。

Last year, we ran and sweated, cooperated and strived in order to win. It was just happened yesterday. Today, we are so excited to tell you that The Fourth of " VBS Cup" Football League comes.

足球运动是一项世界性的体育运动，也是最具影响力的体育活动，深受大家的喜爱。在足球运动中我们能体会到力量与技巧，勇敢与拼搏，欢乐与痛苦，成功与失败，团结与友爱，这种种经历都是我们人生的一笔财富。

Football is a worldwide sport and the most influential sport, which is deeply loved by everyone. We can experience strength and skill, courage and timidity, joy and pain, success and failure, unity and friendship while playing football. This kind of experience is a wealth of our life.

在我们学校一二三四七年级足球为特色精学课程，其它年级为简学课程，还有每年一次的“万小双杯”班级足球联赛，都是为了让同学们能够学习足球技能、锻炼身体，体验足球运动的快乐。

In VBS, students, from Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7, have their favorite featured football courses. VBS also holds the football league "VBS Cup" every year to encourage students to learn football skills, exercise more and experience the joy of football.

本届联赛中，同学们将会带来74场精彩纷呈的比赛，希望同学们秉承“锻炼为主，友谊第一，重在参与”的理念，发扬勇敢、顽强、拼搏、团结的精神，赛出风格，赛出水平，竭尽所能，发挥出最佳水平。

There will be 74 exciting matches among different classes. We hope that students will get to know the concept of sports, that is Exercise, Friendship and Participation. We hope we can carry forward the spirit of bravery, tenacity, hard work and unity. We hope we can show the spirit of the competition and enjoy the competition. Do your best and perform at your best.

【“科学家日”主题演讲】

亲爱的同学们：

大家还记得去年万双的“科学家”日么？2021年5月24日，我们在万双剧场举行了华大基因向学校捐赠基因测序仪仪式仪式暨万科双语学校“科学家日”首场学术报告会。为纪念这意义非凡的一天，万科双语学校将每年五月最后一周的周二定为学校的“科学家日”。

今年的科学家日，同样是5月24日。届时，我们将以科学家讲座、科学主题沙龙、“我的科学梦”、“我对这世界的100+问”四大主题活动，以更多元的方式满足你们对科技发展的好奇心，点燃你们的科学兴趣和创新思维。

现在，我将提前预告下活动的亮点：在“我的科学家梦”主题活动里，同学们可以在当天装扮成你崇拜的、或想成为的科学家偶像的形象，在校园里向同学们以演讲的形式展示、介绍您的梦想以及您崇拜的科学家事迹；而“我对这世界的100+问”主题活动，将会有学生会的同学们进班为大家发放“爱问卡”，在这个由学校特殊化定制的卡片上，可以写下您对世界、对大自然、对生活一切现象的好奇与疑问。

亲爱的未来少年们，让我们一起期待，VBS愿在你小小的心里播下一颗颗承载希望和梦想的种子，并为你们提供广阔的平台，助力它们在你们心中生根发芽！让我们永葆好奇心，用创造遇见美好未来！
