万双网讯  4月25日-29日，生动有趣的STEAM融合课程在六年级开展。本次课程是由数学、人工智能两个学科的老师进行一个多月的交流、探讨，合作完成。课程内容为将数学的三视图跟人工智能3D打印结合起来， 不仅让学生能够识别并画出从三个方向看到的形状图，而且还能根据三个方向看到的形状图进行还原成立体图形，最后用3D软件设计出立体模型。

From April 25th to April 29th, the lively and interesting STEAM integration course was carried out in Grade 6. This course was completed through discussion and cooperation between teachers of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence for more than one month. The course content combines three-view drawing of Mathematics with Artificial Intelligence 3D printing, so that students can not only recognize and draw the shape diagram seen from three directions, but also restore it into three-dimensional graphics according to the shape diagram seen from three directions, and finally design the vertical model with 3D software.

课堂伊始，数学老师吴欢通过苏轼的一首古诗《题西林壁》引入这节课的学习，让学生感受从不同角度观察物体，看到的形状是不一样的，更让学生感受数学来源于生活。紧接着，吴欢老师出示茶壶照片引出三视图的概念，通过让学生动笔画、动手移，动嘴说，达成了教学目标。学生课堂参与度高，学习兴趣浓厚。

At the beginning of the class, Wu Huan, a Math teacher, introduced the class through an ancient poem by Su Shi named Xilin Wall, which made students feel that observing objects from different angles can help them to see different shapes and to know that Mathematics is from life. Then, Miss Wu, the Math teacher, showed the picture of the teapot and introduced the concept of three-view drawing. By drawing, moving shapes and speaking, they achieved the teaching goals. Students had high participation in class and showed strong interest in learning.

人工智能老师彭平通过展示三幅视图，演示操作方法，让学生自主学习，运用3D软件画出立体的房子图形。课堂上很多学生都按要求设计出了自己的房子，有的还在房子内部设计出了桌子、椅子等家具。

Peng Ping, AI teacher, demonstrated the operation method by showing three-view drawing, allowing students to learn independently and draw three-dimensional house graphics with 3D software. In class, many students designed their own houses according to the requirements, and some also designed tables, chairs and other furniture inside the house.

STEAM课的开展，是VBS培养人格健全、学力卓越，具有国际视野和家国情怀，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民的重要举措。本次跨学科融合课程的实践，让VBS学子充分体会到了运用数学与人工智能知识相结合带来的乐趣，激发了学生进行科学探究的内驱力以及敢于创新的能力，孩子们纷纷表示非常期待再上这么有趣的STEAM课。

The development of STEAM course is an important measure for VBS to cultivate Chinese citizens with sound personality, excellent learning ability, international vision and national feelings, and the courage to create a better future. The practice of this interdisciplinary integration course made VBS students fully realize the fun brought by the combination of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence knowledge, and stimulated students' internal drive for scientific exploration and the ability to innovate. Students said that they were looking forward to having such interesting STEAM classes again.
