万双网讯  2022年5月5日，万科双语学校举办2021-2022第二学期第十二周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由4F和4V班承担。4F、4V班是两个团结友爱、积极向上的集体。

VBS Net News  On May 5th, 2022, Vanke Bilingual School held the flag raising ceremony in the 12th week of the second semester 2021-2022. The flag raising ceremony of this week was undertaken by Class 4F and Class 4V. Class 4F and Class 4V are two groups which are united, friendly and positive.

升旗仪式由4F班的吴雨真和4V班王晨瑞主持。4V班倪朱辰和韩佳汐同学进行了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是《峥嵘岁月  不负韶华》。第一书记梁小文进行了时事热点分享。

The flag raising ceremony was presided over by Wu Yuzhen from Class 4F and Wang Chenrui from Class 4V. Ni Zhuchen and Han Jiaxi from Class 4V gave a speech under the national flag. The topic of their speech is "Live up to youth in our memorable years". The first Secretary Liang Xiaowen shared the hot spots of current affairs.

大家早上好！

Good morning!

今天我演讲的题目是《峥嵘岁月 不负韶华》。 

The topic of my speech is "Live up to youth in our memorable years".

一直以来,党和国家纪念五四运动时，都把“爱国”放在五四精神的首要位置。五四青年节到来之际，习近平总书记向广大青年致以节日的问候。同时习总书记进一步明确了“爱国主义”在五四精神中的核心地位。

All along, China’s Youth Day falls on May 4th each year. Chinese President Xi Jinping extended his greetings to young people from all ethnic groups ."Patriotism" has been placed in the primary position of the May 4th spirit. General Secretary Xi Jinping further clarified the core position of patriotism .

那么,什么是爱国主义呢?“爱国主义”至少包含了三层含义：一是人们对祖先繁衍生息的土地的依恋，即乡土之情；二是人们对有着共同血缘关系的同胞的热爱，和对有着共同习俗的文化传统的依赖，即文化之情；三是人们对于承载共同政治生活发展的国家政体的情感认同和行为认同，即国家之情。

So what is patriotism? "Patriotism" contains at least three meanings: First, people's attachment to the land where their ancestors lived and bred, that is, the feeling of homeland; Second, people's love for compatriots with common blood relations and dependence on cultural traditions with common customs, namely cultural feelings; The third is people's emotional identification and behavioral identification with the national polity bearing the development of common political life, that is, national feeling.

翻开历史的画卷，昔日的祖国，傲立东方，我们为此自豪；昨日的华夏，忍辱百年，我们为之感叹；今日之中国，国泰民安，我们为之欢跃!

Look back into the history, China, proudly stood firm in the East of the world, we are proud; Yesterday's China, endure humiliation for one hundred years, we feel utterly humiliated; Today's China, the country is prosperous and the people live in safety, we feel incomparably arrogant and proud!

同学们，我们是幸运的——不曾经历过战争年代的苦难，不曾看见过祖国母亲的沧桑.如今，我们能够坐在宽敞明亮的教室里，了解民族的兴衰荣辱，亲眼见证祖国日新月异的变化——我们的祖国越来越强盛。

Dear students, we are lucky. We have never experienced the suffering of the war, never saw the vicissitudes of the motherland. Now , we can sit in the bright and spacious classroom，we overview the honor and disgrace of our nation. China is getting stronger and stronger.

因此，我们要珍惜今天的美好时光和学习机会，努力成长为建设美好家乡和富强祖国的中坚力量。作为祖国的未来、民族的希望，我们要从小树立伟大的梦想，并为之艰苦奋斗,这是每一个学生义不容辞的责任和使命。

Therefore, we should cherish the good time and learning opportunities today, and strive to grow into the backbone of building a better hometown and a prosperous and powerful motherland. 早上好！

2022年5月3日，第26届中国青年五四奖章评选结果揭晓。在受表彰的青年和集体中，有在科学与技术研发最尖端破局开路的科研工作者，有冲锋在保护人民生命财产安全第一线的警务人员，还有以青春之我传递着力量与温暖的青年志愿者，有让鲜艳的五星红旗在国际赛场上高高飘扬的体育健儿们……他们是新时代青年的杰出代表，是全国广大青年学习的榜样。

青年兴则国家兴，青年强则国家强。在中国共产主义青年团成立100周年之际，国务院发布了《新时代的中国青年》白皮书。这是新中国历史上第一部专门关于青年的白皮书，刻画了当代青年的状况，展现了新时代青年的风采。

在工厂车间一线，青年工人苦练本领、精益求精，拧好每个螺丝、焊好每个接头，争当“青年岗位能手”，让“中国制造”走向世界；在疫情防控期间，32万支青年突击队、550 万名青年奋战在抗疫一线；在重大科技攻关任务中，一批具有国际竞争力的青年科技人才脱颖而出，中国天眼 FAST 研发团队平均年龄仅30岁。无论是在南水北调战略工程现场，还是在脱贫攻坚战一线，神州大地上，到处都是青年人奋斗的身影，他们将个人奋斗的“小目标”融入党和国家事业的“大蓝图”，为祖国的发展注入源源不断的力量。
