【PBL】 “零废弃生活”,让世界更美好——VBS学生寒假PBL作业分享丰富多彩

万双网讯  2022年4月14日,万科双语学校一至六年级学生在PBL课堂上进行了寒假“零废弃生活”PBL作业分享,展示了VBS学子卓越的自主探究学习力。


VBS Net News  On April 14th, 2022, students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 of Vanke Bilingual School shared their winter vacation PBL homework of "zero waste life" in the PBL classes, demonstrating the excellent autonomous inquiry learning ability of VBS students.

为给学生提供具有生活价值的学习,让学生从小树立环保意识、养成节约资源的好习惯,万科双语学校自2020年7月开始在各个年级开展“零废弃生活”PBL研究。学生除了在校期间有专门的项目研究时间,在假期还通过有创意的假期实践作业将研究持续深入到日常生活中。


In order to encourage students to study with life value, enable them to establish environmental awareness and develop a good habit of saving resources from childhood, Vanke Bilingual School has carried out "zero waste life" PBL research in all grades since July 2020. In addition to special project research time at school, students also continue to deepen their research into daily life through creative vacation practical homework during the holidays.

 

本次寒假PBL作业结合“零废弃生活”主题及过年风俗,充分引导学生自主探究和调研。每个年级一个主题。各年级作业分为项目描述、知识储备、调查研究、方案设计与实施、形成成果及家长反馈六个部分。每个部分都遵循PBL研究的思路,一步步引导学生进行自主探究。学生在学校期间已经经历了完整的项目研究过程,对于这样的特色作业模式都很熟悉。在作业中,学生展示了真实的研究经历、精彩的研究成果以及家长发自内心的评价。


This winter vacation PBL homework combined the theme of "zero waste life" and Chinese New Year’s customs to fully guide students to explore and investigate independently. Each grade studied on one theme. The homework of each grade contained six parts, project description, knowledge reserve, investigation and research, scheme design and implementation, achievement formation and parents' feedback. Each part was designed by the idea of PBL research and students could explore independently step by step. As students had experienced a complete project research process at school, they would be familiar with such a characteristic operation mode. In the homework, students showed their research experience, wonderful research results and the heartfelt evaluation of their parents.

 

一年级以“我是小小陪购师”为主题,结合在学校参与环保可穿戴装置项目所学习到的知识,帮助家人挑选过年新衣。研究过程中,孩子们学会了考虑家人需求,懂得了服装参数代表的意思,并利用数学(math)课堂所学去测量身高、体重等。同学们在探究中环保意识浓厚,从衣服材质、包装袋等角度践行零废弃理念。


The theme of Grade 1 is "I'm a Little Shopping Companion". In combination with the knowledge which they learned from participating in the environmental protection project of wearable device at school, students need help their families choose new clothes for the New Year. During the research, students learned to consider the needs of their families, understand the meaning of clothing parameters and use what they learned in Math class to measure height and weight. Students had a strong awareness of environmental protection in their exploration and practiced the concept of zero waste from the perspective of clothing materials and packaging bags.

二年级以“绿色水果迎新春”为主题,结合学生在学校“零废弃项目”中的环保知识,探究水果的分类、属性,保存方式等,调查家人对水果的喜好,制定采购计划,帮助家人完成水果的购买及水果拼盘的制作,践行零废弃理念。


The theme of Grade 2 is "Green Fruit Welcomes the Spring Festival". In combination with the environmental protection knowledge of "zero waste project", students need to explore the classification, attributes and preservation methods of fruits, investigate the family's preferences for fruits, formulate procurement plans, help their families complete the purchase of fruits and the production of fruit platters and practice the concept of zero waste.

三年级以“年夜饭反浪费计划”为主题,结合在学校“零废弃项目”中学到的废弃果皮再利用的知识,思考如何从源头上减少食物浪费。学生在了解全球饥饿问题的背景后,探究减少食物浪费的方法,设计零废弃的年夜饭菜单,说服家人共同践行零废弃的理念。3D班顾效语自编自导自演了宣传片——《年夜饭,拒绝舌尖上的浪费》,展示了优异的学习成果。


The theme of Grade 3 is "Anti-waste Plan for New Year's Eve Dinner". In combination with the knowledge of reusing abandoned peel which they learned from "zero waste project", students should think about how to reduce food waste from the source. After understanding the background of global hunger, students should explore ways to reduce food waste, design a zero-waste dinner menu, and persuade their families to practice the concept of zero waste. Gu Xiaoyu from Class 3D wrote, directed and acted in a promotional film "New Year's Eve dinner, refuse waste on the tip of tongue", which showed excellent learning achievements.

四五年级学生以“虎兆丰年绿色行”为主题,结合在“零废弃项目”中学习到的环保知识,探究春节的传统文化,调研不同家庭在往年欢度春节时,采购年货与聚餐是否存在过度或浪费现象,并调查年货包装与聚餐厨余如何回收。根据调研结果,自己设计年货采购计划,与家人共同完成采购,同时进行更有效的垃圾回收,践行零废弃理念,享受零废弃生活。


Students in Grade 4 and Grade 5 took " Green Travel in the Year of Tiger " as a theme. In combination with the environmental protection knowledge which they learned from "zero waste project", students should explore the traditional culture of the Spring Festival, investigate whether there is excessive or waste in purchasing goods for the New Year and in the dinner when different families celebrate the Spring Festival in previous years, and investigate how to recycle the packaging of the New Year goods and kitchen waste. According to the survey results, students should design an annual purchase plan, complete the purchase with their families, and carry out more effective waste recycling, practice the concept of zero waste and enjoy the life of zero waste.

六年级学生以“春意融融,救助不停”为主题,结合在 “给流浪动物一个家”项目中获取的知识,在春节到来之际,观察自身所居住小区流浪动物的种类、经常出没的地点等,调查小区居民对流浪动物的看法、态度,探究流浪动物对于投喂食物喜好,制定救助计划并跟踪记录,动手设计一个救助窝,真正实现为“毛孩子们”量身打造一个家。


The theme of Grade 6 is "Harmony of Spring and Constant Rescue". In combination with the knowledge which they gained in the project of giving stray animals a home, students should observe the types and frequent haunts of stray animals in their residential area when the Spring Festival comes, investigate the views and attitudes of residents on stray animals, explore the preferences of stray animals for food, formulate rescue plans and track records, and design a rescue nest to truly create a home for "hairy children".

PBL(Project Based Learning),是目前国际上比较流行的一种教学组织方式,是一套设计学习情境的,以问题为导向的教学方法,是基于现实世界的以学生为中心的教育方式。它是以学生为中心(Child-centered)的教育理念为基础,以项目(Project)为导向,教师引导的跨学科的(interdisciplinary)启发式教育方式。学生通过做项目,整合自己的各个学科的知识和生活经验,并对自己的表现做出评价,同时促进团队协作,就是PBL。
