万双网讯  为贯彻落实国家“双减”精神和“五项管理”制度，用丰富多彩的活动提升学生学习内驱力，2022年1月4日，万科双语学校一二年级在篮球馆举办了以“万双一号，太空大探索”为主题的期末游园嘉年华活动。一二年级学生变身“小宇航员”，跟着万小双，一起开启了神秘的太空探索之旅。

VBS Internet News  In order to implement the national spirit of Double Reduction Policy and the Five Management System, and to enhance students' learning drive, on January 4, 2022, the first and second graders of Vanke Bilingual School participated in an end-of-term Carnival in the basketball hall. The theme of the carnival is "VBS-1, Space Exploration". The first and second graders acted as "little astronauts" and followed Wanxiaoshuang to embark on a mysterious journey of space exploration.

活动前夕，老师们根据语文、数学、英语的学科特点， 从学科素养出发，精心设计游园闯关活动。游园活动分为三大板块：了解飞船、飞向太空和漫步太空，每一个板块设置了8个不同的闯关项目。孩子们化身为小小宇航员，以小组为单位，迎接多个项目的考验。他们在活动中不仅获取了学科知识，还懂得了礼貌、谦让，锻炼了与人合作与交流的能力。

Before the event, teachers spent a lot of time and energy to design the activities. Those activities are based on the features and core literacy of Chinese, Math and English. The carnival is divided into three major sections: getting to know spaceships, flying into space and walking in space. There are eight different entry-level games in each section. The children acted as little astronauts and embraced challenges in small groups. In the activities, they acquired knowledge, learned how to behave well and exercised their ability to cooperate and communicate with others.

第一站：了解飞船

First Station: Get to Know Spaceships

拼音、识字、写字、朗读背诵、口语表达等巧妙地隐藏在8个闯关项目中。遥十三箭——拼音地图、返回舱——汉字起源、轨道舱_——汉字密码、推进舱——出牌游戏、太阳翼——词语宝库、防热层——书声朗朗、降落伞——记忆达人、中国空间站——妙语连珠。自信满满的神情洋溢在孩子们脸上，他们用自己所学的知识过关斩将，最终获得相应的“星星章”，同时还能了解一些有关飞船的知识。孩子们玩得不亦乐乎！

This part involves Pinyin, literacy, writing, reading and reciting, and oral Chinese expression. They are hidden in eight games: Distant Thirteen Arrows - Pinyin map, Re-entry Module - Origin of Chinese characters, Orbital Module - Chinese characters password, Propellant Module - card game, Solar Wing - words treasure house, Thermal Insulation Layer- read master, Parachute - memory master, China Space Station - witty words. Our children showed their confidence and they looked so happy while playing those games. They passed these games on their own, and finally got the "stars", but also they got to know some of the knowledge about the spacecraft. They had a lot of fun!

第二站：飞向太空

Second Station: Fly to Space

万双一号准备发射，我们一起飞向太空。温度调控室——套圈游戏，造访一颗星——寻找目的行星，银河几斤重——比轻重，时空穿梭机——认识钟表，陨石大击落——20以内加减法，翻滚外太空——立体图形，银河邮递员——整理分类，太空照相馆——位置与顺序。孩子们通过独立游戏或与人合作，在闯关中回顾了本学期数与代数、图形与几何、位置与顺序、统计与分析等相关内容，学数学，用数学，合作交流，积极探索。

VBS-1 is ready to launch. Let's fly into space. VBSers played Temperature Control Room-Loop Game, Visit a Star- Find an Aim Planet, Weights of the Milky Way-Compare Weights, Time Machine-Read Clocks and Watches,  Break Meteor-Addition and Subtraction within 20，Rolling in Space-Stereo Graphics, The Milky Way Postman-Sorting and Classification and Space Photo Studio-Location and Sequence on their own or in groups. They reviewed the mathematical knowledge they have learned this semester in the games. They use what they have learned to solve problems in a positive and cooperative way.

第三站：漫步太空

Third Station: Walk in Space

小小宇航员们终于到达太空啦！在这里，他们需要通过八个关卡：外星宝宝回家啦、太空交友记、陨石撞击、解码太空密语、对战外星人、行星排排序、幸运降落点、宇宙之声。小宇航员在丰富多彩的闯关活动中大胆展现英语风采，和老师对答如流，在知识的星空中遨游。既活用了本学期的知识和技能，又培养了英语学习的方法和兴趣。

Little astronauts finally reached space! Here, they needed to pass eight levels: The alien baby is home, Friends in Space, Meteorite impacts, Decode space code, Against the aliens, Planetary ordering, Lucky landing point, The sound of the universe. Little astronauts boldly showed their style in a variety of activities. They answered the questions without any hitch. They travelled through the sky of knowledge. Not only did they use the knowledge and skills, but also developed English learning method and interest. 

本次期末游园嘉年华活动将学科知识与学生生活相结合，为学生提供了具有生活价值的学习，增强了学生的全局性理解力。在轻松、愉快氛围中，老师巧妙地考察学生的基础知识及综合能力，对学生表现进行综合评价，提升学生综合素养。让学生在学中玩，在玩中考，在活动中体验，在体验中快乐成长，更好地站在未来中央。

This carnival combines knowledge with students’ daily life, which provides meaningful knowledge for daily life and enhance students’ comprehension. Teachers test students’ basic knowledge and comprehensive capabilities in a relaxing atmosphere. Teachers conduct a comprehensive evaluation of students' performance to enhance students' comprehensive accomplishment. The carnival enables students to learn while playing. Students grow up happily within the activity experience, which enables them to better stand in the center of the future.
