生活中,你是否会站在衣橱边为如何搭配衣服而苦恼?万科双语学校三年级的孩子们用两周的时间,围绕"How to dress nicely"这个核心问题进行了PBL项目式学习



 


万双网讯 为给学生提供具有生活价值的学习,提升学生的全局性理解力,12月7日至17日,万科双语学校英语组在三年级开展了主题为"Dress Casual Day"的PBL项目式学习

 

VBS News Net: To improve students' overall understanding, the English group of VBS carried out PBL with the theme of 'Dress Casual Day' in Grade 3 from December 7 to 17.

本次英语学科PBL项目式学习的主题选取自教材中第六单元《Dress Casual Day》。学生围绕"How to dress nicely"这个核心问题进行自主学习和探究,历时两周,英语、人工智能、建筑教育多个学科的老师参与到其中。

 

The theme was selected from unit 6 of the textbook, Dress Casual Day. Students studied and explored independently, which lasted two weeks. English, AI, and Architecture teachers participated in it.

自主探究 

Independent inquiry

 

项目伊始,有趣的入项活动激发了学生的研究兴趣。同学们在英语课堂上学习各类服装如何用英语表达,把家中喜欢的衣服带来学校,现场进行小组穿搭实验。同学们脑洞大开,提出了很多颇有想象力的问题。

 

At the beginning of the project, interesting activities stimulated students' interest in research. Students learned the vocabulary of all kinds of clothes in English and brought the clothes they liked to school. The students came up with many imaginative questions.

研讨中,同学们熟悉了该单元的核心词汇和句型,制作了Dress Casual Day海报,并阅读和创作了主题诗歌。

 

During the discussion, the students were familiar with the core vocabulary and sentence patterns, made the poster of Dress Casual Day, and read and wrote the poetry.

建筑教育课上,老师带领同学们学习颜色搭配相关内容,在纸上为模特进行服装设计,为后续活动做好知识储备。

 

In the Architecture class, the teachers taught the students about color matching, designed the clothes for the models on paper, and learned the knowledge for the follow-up activities.

学习过程中,同学们撰写了英文演讲稿,进行了演讲练习。各小组还选择了自己想要研究的子问题,阅读了与研究主题相关的文本,完成思维导图和海报,并自主选择了不同的方式进行展示。评价和反思贯穿于整个学习过程中。

 

During the learning, the students wrote English speeches and practiced speaking. Each group also selected the subproblems they wanted to study, read the texts related to the research topic, completed the mind map and posters, and chose different ways to present them.

通过英语与人工智能教师的共同教研,同学们充分发挥自己的创造力和想象力,通过图形化编程,设计换装游戏,并渗透英文对话的使用,极大激发学生的学习兴趣和应用能力。

 

Students designed dressing games through graphical programming and infiltrated English dialogues, which greatly stimulated students' learning interest and application ability.

PBL项目展示 

PBL project presentation

 

12月17日,三年级所有学生穿上自己最喜欢的衣服,在一楼平台热情地向老师们展示这段时间的研究性学习成果郑世英校长助理、吴萍主任、英语老师、外籍教师等纷纷来到现场,聆听同学们自如大方地用英文介绍自己的子问题研究成果。


On December 17, Grade 3 students put on their favorite clothes and showed the learning results to the teachers. Assistant Principal Ms. Zheng, Ms. Wu Ping, English teachers, and foreign teachers came to the presentation. Students introduced their subproblems’ research results in English.

 













































 

有的小组以思维导图的形式展示自己的学习成果,有的小组设计了服装搭配游戏,让参观者在游戏中体验服装搭配的乐趣。

 

Some groups showed their learning achievements in the form of a mind map, and some groups designed clothing matching games.


 

同学们还用IPAD展示了在人工智能课制作的换装编程作品及建筑教育课上制作的服装拼贴画。现场气氛活跃,每一个孩子都沉浸在分享和展示活动中,连最羞涩的孩子也开了口,大方地说起了英语。学习的快乐洋溢在每个孩子的脸上。

 

The students also used the iPad to show the dressing programming works and the clothing collage made in the Architecture class. They enjoyed the sharing and presentation. Every one of them felt the joy of learning.

 










本次PBL项目的顺利开展源于英语、人工智能、建筑教育老师的通力合作、集体教研、精心策划。老师们进行了跨学科项目设计,明确了单元的教学目标,进行了逆向项目规划,并且充分考虑学生年龄特点,设计了核心问题和展示方式,让学生在体验中学习,在体验中成长。学生在真实情境的应用中,获得了扎实的英语学科知识,提升了21世纪核心素养,即审辨思维、创新素养、沟通素养、合作素养、文化理解与传承素养

 

The cooperation of English, AI, and Architecture teachers enabled this PBL course to be completed. The teachers carried out interdisciplinary project design, defined the teaching objectives of the unit, designed core problems, and presentation methods so that students could grow in learning. Students have acquired English knowledge and improved the core qualities of the 21st century, such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and cultural competence.

本次英语学科PBL项目式学习的主题选取自教材中第六单元《Dress Casual Day》。学生围绕"How to dress nicely"这个核心问题进行自主学习和探究,历时两周,英语、人工智能、建筑教育多个学科的老师参与到其中。

 

The theme was selected from unit 6 of the textbook, Dress Casual Day. Students studied and explored independently, which lasted two weeks. English, AI, and Architecture teachers participated in it.

项目伊始,有趣的入项活动激发了学生的研究兴趣。同学们在英语课堂上学习各类服装如何用英语表达,把家中喜欢的衣服带来学校,现场进行小组穿搭实验。同学们脑洞大开,提出了很多颇有想象力的问题。

12月17日,三年级所有学生穿上自己最喜欢的衣服,在一楼平台热情地向老师们展示这段时间的研究性学习成果郑世英校长助理、吴萍主任、英语老师、外籍教师等纷纷来到现场,聆听同学们自如大方地用英文介绍自己的子问题研究成果。


On December 17, Grade 3 students put on their favorite clothes and showed the learning results to the teachers.
