万双网讯  "自己造纸,自己打印3D字符,自己印刷,自己装饰,成功制作自己的艺术作品……"为培养孩子的综合素养,提升其全球竞争力,万科双语学校打破常规学科界限,重建课程文化、知识体系和教学模式。10月14日至29日,生动有趣的STEAM课程“造纸术与印刷术”在五年级学生中开展。此次课程历时一个多月的筹备,由历史、科学、人工智能、建筑四个学科的老师合作完成,让孩子们在多学科融合中体验到学习带来的无限乐趣。

 

VBS News Net: To cultivate children's comprehensive quality and enhance their global competitiveness, VBS broke the boundaries of disciplines and rebuilt curriculum, knowledge system, and teaching mode. From October 14 to 29, the STEAM class of papermaking and printing was delivered to Grade 5. The classes were prepared for more than one month. It was completed by teachers of History, Science, AI, and Architecture, letting students have fun in the inter-disciplinary learning.


本课程分为三个课时,第一课时由历史、科学、人工智能三个学科的老师共同授课。课上,历史老师柴文俊让学生对比了四大文明古国的文字及书写材料后,引入了中国四大发明之一造纸术,让学生了解了西汉造纸及东汉蔡伦改进造纸术的过程。

 

This course was divided into three classes. The first class was taught by teachers of history, science, and AI. Mr. Chai Wenjun, the history teacher, asked the students to compare the characters and writing materials of the four ancient civilizations and introduced papermaking, one of the Chinese four great inventions so that the students could learn the process of papermaking in the Western Han Dynasty and Cai Lun's improvement of papermaking in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

科学老师李音带领学生探究造纸术的原理。李老师先让同学们反思,在科技发达的今天,想要得到一张纸非常的简单,为什么今天我们要重新再造一张纸呢?同学们在讨论以后得出我们要继承古人探索的精神,从过程中汲取古人的智慧,最主要是我们要在古人的基础上不停地创新。接下来同学们分小组用纸浆、滤网等工具在课堂上体验了人工造纸

 

The Science teacher, Ms. Li Yin, led the students to explore the theories of papermaking. Ms. Li asked the students to think first. It is very simple to get a piece of paper today. Why should we recreate a piece of paper? After discussion, the students concluded that we should inherit the spirit of exploration of the ancients and absorb the wisdom of the ancients. The most important thing is that we should constantly innovate based on the ancients. Next, the students were divided into groups to experience artificial papermaking with pulp and filter screens in class.

造纸术的发明使人类有了一种便捷有效的书写材料。但是人们手工抄写书籍进一步阻碍了文明的传播。柴老师通过文字以及图片展示,带领学生学习了古代雕版印刷和活字印刷的相关知识。

 

The invention of papermaking has provided mankind with convenient and effective writing material. But people copied books by handwriting, which hindered the spread of civilization. Ms. Chai showed them some pictures and taught the students about ancient block printing and movable-type printing.

最后,人工智能老师彭平融合现代3D打印技术、古代印刷术,给学生们演示了3D雕版印刷。学生们对3D打印及印刷术充满了好奇。

 

Finally, the AI teacher, Mr. Peng Ping, showed 3D engraving printing to students by integrating modern 3D printing technology and ancient printing. Students were curious about 3D printing.






第二课时由人工智能老师彭平指导学生在课堂上用3D软件造字。彭老师通过微课的方式,让学生们自主学习,自主创新,设计出自己理想的文字,并通过3D打印机一一打印出来。

 

In the second class, Mr. Peng Ping guided the students to make characters with 3D software. He gave a micro class to the students and let them learn independently, innovate independently, design their own words, and print them one by one through 3D printers.

第三课时由建筑老师孙晓萌和人工智能老师彭平完成。彭老师给学生们讲解了3D打印机的工作原理及操作要求,让学生了解3D作品是如何打印出来的。

 

The third class was delivered by Ms. Sun Xiaomeng, the architecture teacher, and Mr. Peng Ping. Mr. Peng explained the working principle and operation requirements of a 3D printer to the students, letting them understand how 3D works are printed.

孙老师给学生们讲解了怎样印刷及印刷材料的使用要求,学生们兴致勃勃把自己的3D作品印刷到造好的纸上,在纸上进行绘画装饰。字与画融合,一幅幅带有创造性的艺术作品新鲜出炉,同时在科技节上进行了展示。

 

Ms. Sun explained to the students how to print and the use requirements of printing materials. The students were interested in printing their 3D works on the papers they made and painting and decorating them. They displayed their works at the science and technology festival as well.
