万双网讯  为培养学生卓越的领导力，提升综合素养，激活学生个性化发展潜质，自新学期开学伊始，万科双语学校社团系列活动有序进行。

VBS News Net: To cultivate students' excellent leadership, improve their comprehensive quality, and activate their personalized development potential, VBS has carried out student society activities since the beginning of the new semester.

9月1日，在学校第一周升旗仪式暨开学典礼上，杨帆校长号召全校学生积极创社，充分发挥自己的特长，吸引有共同爱好的同学共同成长，成为身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越，具有国际视野和家国情怀，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民，乐观、坚毅地站在未来中央。

On September 1, at the flag-raising assembly, Principal Yang hoped that all students could form societies, attract students with the same interests to grow together, and become Chinese citizens who possess good health, sound personality, academic excellence, international horizons, patriotism and the courage to create a better future.

全校学生随即展开社团招募前期工作，各施其才，为社团命名、绘制招募海报。

Students of all grades immediately started the preliminary work of societies recruitment, named the societies and drew recruitment posters.

9月6日，万科双语学校操场热闹非凡。“走过路过，不要错过，快来参加我们的社团吧……”2至6学段的小社长们手举招募海报，争相动员同学加入。没有成立社团的同学们被百余个社团海报弄得眼花缭乱，在认真观看并和社长沟通后选择了自己心怡的社团，现场气氛十分热烈。

On September 6, the school playground was bustling. The presidents of Grades 2 to 6 held their recruitment posters and scrambled to mobilize students to join. Students who did not establish a society were dazzled by more than 100 society posters. After communicating with the president, they chose their societies.

社长们阳光自信，甚至动员校长和老师参加自己组建的社团。招募人数最多的是枫叶摄影社，杨帆校长和几位老师也在学生的邀请下参加了社团，吸引了众多学生加入。行政中心的陈主任加入了思维社和跳绳社。刚开始，思维社的同学想要招募陈主任，但陈主任说自己没什么思维。这时候学生对陈主任说：“正是没有思维才要加入思维社。”

The presidents were confident and even mobilized the principal and teachers to participate in their societies. Maple Leaf photography society has the largest number of recruits. Principal Yang and several teachers also joined the society at the invitation of students, attracting many students to join. Ms. Carmen Chen of the Administration Center joined the thinking society and rope skipping society as well.

活动现场，有的学生因为收获满满而异常开心，也有的学生因为招募不到成员而伤心地哭了。这就是成长的过程，孩子们可能会受伤，但他们会勇敢去闯。

Some students were happy because of their recruitment, while others cried because they couldn't recruit members. This is the process of growing up. Children may get hurt, but they will be brave enough to breakthrough.

杨帆校长通过校园广播对一年级的新同学进行了社团宣讲。在杨校的鼓励下，一年级的宝宝也为自己的社团绘制了海报，并于9月13日在学校三楼的架空层进行了招募。

Principal Yang gave a lecture to the new students of Grade 1 through the campus radio. Encouraged by Principal Yang, the first-grade students also drew posters for their society and were recruited on the overhead floor of the third floor on September 13.

9月14日下午第十节课，由七八年级学生自主发起、自主宣传、自主开展的社团招募活动在学校剧场外举行，充分展现了万双学子的校园主人翁意识，真正让“万小双”们站在校园中央。

学生们延续了学长学姐的“某科学的魔法协会社”、“万双的动漫社”、“GOD篮球社“、“烘焙社”、“CODEX”编程交流社、“Sky羽毛球社”、“爵士舞社” 等。而相比去年，如火如荼的社团活动更富有蓬勃气息，朝气昂扬的万小双们继续创新，自主创设了“DND社”、“‘8/9’篮球社”、“Monkey King社”、“3D正在打印中社”、“中国舞社”、“印象油画工作室”。除此以外，孩子们还积极向老师发出邀请，不仅让老师成为社团的指导老师，更让老师成为社团活动的直接参与者，与他们一起分享创社的喜悦。VBS的未来少年们在社团的报名表上签下了他们的名字，也刻印了他们的青春。

There were old societies such as the Magic Association, Animation society, GOD basketball society, Baking society, CODEX programming society, Sky badminton society, Jazz Dance Society. Students also formed some new societies such as the DND society, 8/9 basketball society, Monkey King society, 3D printing society, Chinese Dance society, Impressionist painting studio. In addition, the students also invited the teachers to be members of their societies.

此次社团招募活动，小学共成功成立了101个社团，初中成立了14个社团，有科技创新类、阅读类、艺术类、生活技能类、体育运动类、益智类等等。社团每周举行一次活动。在社长们的带领下，同学们兴致勃勃地参与到活动中，阳光灿烂的笑容时时在他们脸上闪现。

In this society recruitment, 99 societies were successfully established in primary school, and 14 were established in junior middle school. The societies hold activities once a week. Under the presidents' leadership, the students participated in the activity with great interest.

学生社团活动是万科双语学校校园文化生活中重要的组成部分，扮演着校园活动的主力军角色，为学生的快速成长搭建了舞台，让学生有了更加广阔的发展空间。在杨校长的推动下，万双的学生真正实现了人人有社团，而且实现了跨年级、跨班级。

Societies activities are an important part of the campus cultural life of VBS, which play the main role of campus activities, build a stage for the rapid growth of students, and give students a broader space for development. Under the promotion of Principal Yang, everyone student in VBS has a society.

面对21世纪的激烈竞争，社团活动对于培养学生5C能力(勇气、能力、沟通、合作、创造)，充分锻炼自己的领导力具有重要意义，而“恰同学少年，风华正茂；书生意气，挥斥方裘”的体验，更是同学们不可多得的精神财富。

In the 21st century, societies' activities are significant for cultivating students' 5C ability (courage, capability, communication, cooperation and creativity) and leadership.
