万双网讯 2021年6 月21日，2020-2021第二学期第十八周“云端”升旗仪式在学校各班举行。本周升旗仪式由九年级承担。

VBS News Net: On June 21, the 18th-week flag-raising assembly was held in classrooms because of the COVID-19. Year 9 students undertook the assembly.

中考在即，杨帆校长深情回顾了万科双语学校首届初中毕业生三年来的成长历程，鼓励同学们以乐观坚毅、永不言弃的心态面对未来，并祝福同学们中考顺利，实现自己的梦想。李君英老师做了英文同步翻译。

The High School Entrance Exam is approaching. Principal Yang reviewed the three years of VBS's first junior high school graduates, encouraged the students to face the future with an optimistic attitude, never give up and finally realize their dreams. Ms. Li Junying did a simultaneous translation in English.

老师们、同学们：

Dear teachers and students

早上好！今天的讲话是代表全校师生为即将进行中考的2021届毕业生们讲的。

Good morning! On behalf of all the teachers and students, my speech is for the 2021 graduates who will take the High School Entrance Exams soon.

亲爱的2021届毕业生们，本周，你们将参加中考。你们已为此准备了三年，要加上小学那一段就九年了，如果再加上幼儿园开始的三年，那可就有十二年了。都这么长时间了，你们就不要紧张了哈！

Dear graduates, your big day is coming while you have been preparing for it for three years. It's quite a long time. So, don't be nervous.

今天还不到分别的时刻，那些嘱咐你们的话语还有祝福语，我就先留着了。今天，我们一起回忆一下你们在万双这三年的快乐点滴吧！我想，你们最难忘的应该有扬帆大海的新生训练营吧？还有新生欢迎礼、美食和文化之旅——长沙之行吧？应该还有六一狂欢、田径运动会、中考百日倒计时仪式吧？一定还有辩论赛、篮球赛，快乐的圣诞节、万圣节活动，还有新年演出、艺术沙龙，应该还有图书馆开馆仪式，那张万双永久的借书卡都珍藏着吧？三年来，看着你们长大，还真是件幸福的事儿！

We are not going to say goodbye today. So, I'll keep the blessings in my heart. Today, let me remind you of your three years in VBS! All things you went through in VBS will be unforgettable for you. The freshman training camp, the welcome ceremony, the trip to Changsha, the children's day carnivals, the school sports day, the Oath-taking Rally for High School Entrance Exams, the debates, basketball games, Christmas and Halloween celebrations, the New Year Gala, art salons, and the library's opening ceremony. It's my pleasure to witness your growth.

在我眼里，永远都有你们一个个鲜活的形象：你们初一的时候我一直分不清阙熙来和杨稼祥，总对着阙熙来喊杨稼祥，阙熙来每次都无奈地笑着纠正我；还有杨璨宁和孙可儿，你们和你们的妈妈来参加学校招生宣传时，与我合影，那时你们都没有我高呢！新生欢迎礼上，尚子扬与你的妈妈合唱的形象，还有王孜卓弹古筝的形象，永远留在我的记忆里。你们那时还是真的很稚嫩呢！梁钰婕优美的大提琴演奏每一次都令人陶醉。我想，退休后一定要学大提琴，这是我一直的梦想；叶嘉良铿锵的架子鼓演奏是一道靓丽的风景；林沐蕾设计的海豚吉祥物为学校留下了宝贵的文化底色；胡嘉芮在疫情期间精彩的英文演讲，高端大气！再有，每天早上见到刘美麟、林彦仪、罗煜祥、杨博涵、周楷媛、黄可怡、左凌风、张扬、顾子滢、上官熹玉、钟非凡等等同学，看着看着你们就长高了，然后有的同学领着弟弟或妹妹一起来上学了！谢慧怡、章可欣、韩美玲、赵馨宁、李雨轩、曾梓怡、王孜卓、肖润林、张敏元那淡淡的微笑，赵越、叶澄怀、赖俊宏、杨嘉、蒲子熙的沉稳，还有每天都拿着讲义在背的张默宜，学校露台上陈柳润晨读的身影，都是学校美好的风景；一米八几的王培森，为了中考体育的满分，愣是凭毅力减掉多余的体重；在体育中考前，我在校门口碰到的每一位初三同学，我问能否体育不丢分，你们都坚定地说，我们在努力，我们一定争取！吕婧、窦薇薇等同学在田径场上拼搏训练的身影，朱浩畅几乎每天早上第一个进教室专注学习的背影，张新雨、姜凯文、李开彦、张诗雨、宗唯诚等同学脸上始终洋溢的灿烂笑容都令人难忘；温思晗、曾思阳是最先走进我办公室跟我探讨学生使用电子产品的困惑，才有了我们的辩论赛和电子产品使用公约。曹炜、张新雨来找我建议，住校生才开始了体育晨练……太多太多美好的记忆，你们每个人都在万双心里，都在我心里。

When you were in Year 7, I couldn't distinguish between Que Xilai and Yang Jiaxiang. So I always called Que Xilai by Yang Jiaxiang's name. Que Xilai had no choice but to correct me with a smile. Yang Canning and Sun Keer, when you and your mother came to participate in the school enrollment promotion, you took pictures with me. At that time, you were not taller than me! I still remember that at the welcome ceremony for freshmen, Shang Ziyang sang with your mother, and Wang Zizhuo played Guzheng. You were so young at that time! Liang Yujie's cello performance was so wonderful. I think it's my dream to learn cello after retirement. Every morning, I see Liu Meilin, Lin Yanyi, Luo Yuxiang, Yang Bohan, Zhou Kaiyuan, Huang Keyi, Zuo Lingfeng, Zhang Yang, Gu Ziying, Shangguan Xiyu, Zhong Feifan. You are getting taller and taller. Then your younger brothers or sisters became VBS students! The smile of Xie Huiyi, Zhang Kexin, Han Meiling, Zhao Xinning, Li Yuxuan, Zeng Ziyi, Wang Zizhuo, Xiao Runlin, and Zhang Minyuan, the calmness of Zhao Yue, Ye Chenghuai, Lai Junhong, Yang Jia, and Pu Zixi, are all beautiful scenery of the school.There are so many beautiful memories in my mind, and every one of you will be in my heart.

同学们，你们可能早已忘记，可我却永生难忘，那就是你们去长沙社会实践活动。最后一天上火车前，在长沙小吃街。晚饭后你们要求自由活动，当时只有不到一个小时，让你们去，又担心你们赶不回来，耽误上车；不让你们去，小吃街的快乐又体验不到，会留下遗憾。最后决定还是让你们去，但一定要按时集合。我当时没有离开晚餐那个饭店，它位于二楼。快到时间了，我没有听到同学们集合的声音，就马上下楼来，准备找你们。当我走到楼下，我看到你们已经整整齐齐站在那里了！当时那种感动和震撼无以言表，那一幕至今记忆犹新。你们没有沉迷于美食，而是按时赶回来。有这样的自律性，还有什么困难不能面对！

Students, you may have forgotten, but I'll never forget—the last day in Changsha snack street. After dinner, you asked for free time. I was worried that we would probably miss the train. However, it would be a pity if you could not go. Finally, I decided to let you go, but we must get together on time. I didn't leave the restaurant. It was almost time when I went downstairs, and I saw you all standing there! At that time, I didn't know how to express my feelings. You were back on time. Since then, I know that you can face all difficulties with your self-control.

我不能忘记的还有你们男队、女队在龙华区足球赛上的表现。在大比分落后的情况下你们依然奋力拼搏到最后一分钟。尤其是男生上场时正遇到了倾盆大雨。你们一点都没有退缩，奋力拼抢，不放弃任何一次机会，叶嘉良那一脚远射我至今记忆犹新。虽然由于实力悬殊，我们最后还是输了。可令人意外的是比赛结束那一刻，对方队员向你们竖起了大拇指！是你们的拼搏和努力赢得了强大对手的敬佩！这正是学校对你们的期待，不论成败，拼搏到底！你们不怕失败、团结拼搏的精神是对坚毅品格的最好诠释，它将永远定格为万双精神。中考体育满分率75%，满分50，你们的平均分48.65，这正是你们追求目标、永不言弃的最好体现！万双以你们为荣！

I can't forget your performance in the Longhua District football match. In the case of a huge score behind, you still struggled to the last minute. Especially when the boys came on the court, they were in heavy rain. However, you didn't give up any chance. Although you lost, the other team thumbs up to you at the end of the game! Whether it is successful or not, you must fight until the end! VBS is proud of you!

回望你们的成长历程，面对即将到来的中考，考试焦虑不可避免，适度焦虑对你们的正常发挥会有好处。但我更希望你们以乐观的心态轻松应对，就把它当作篮球比赛一个小节的结束，打完这一节还有一节，打完这一场还有一场，每一节比赛都是对上一节的总结，都是为了更好地打下一节。这就是人生常态。请同学们把自己的目光放得长远一些，多给自己正向暗示。你们一定会稳定发挥，实现各自心中的目标的！

Anxiety is inevitable in facing the coming high school entrance exam. Moderate anxiety will be good for you. But I hope you can deal with it in the best condition. This is the normalcy of life. Please take a long-term view and give yourself more positive hints. Then, you will achieve your goals!
