万双网讯  期待已久的VBS首届数学探索之旅火热开始啦！ 5月12日下午，为激发学生学习的内驱力，引导学生在游戏、探索、比拼、交流与合作中充分感受数学与生活的密切联系，万科双语学校首届万小双“数学探索之旅” 在校园如火如荼地展开。学校1--5年级全体学生兴致盎然地参与了本次探索之旅。孩子们结伴参加数学游戏的队伍，成为了万双最靓丽的一道风景线。

VBS News Net: VBS held the first Math Discovery on May 12 to stimulate students' learning drive and make them know the close relationship between math and life in games and competition. All the students of Years 1 to 5 participated in this activity with great interest.

本次活动主题是：享数学乐趣，展个人智慧。各年级在三个不同的场地开展，学校一楼、三楼架空层及三楼平台、一年级教室走廊等随处可见孩子们进行数学探究的身影。为了让孩子们感受到数学的乐趣和奥妙，数学组的老师们精心设计和准备了42个各具特色的数学小游戏：有抽牌、转盘、掷球、套圈、七巧板拼图、丢失的指针、最强大脑、数学小医生、心中有数、隐藏的图形、扑克牌大作战、火柴变变变、数独游戏......等形式多样的数学挑战。各学科的老师纷纷上阵，分工负责组织每个游戏，大家齐心协力，互相配合，保证活动现场井然有序。

The theme of this activity was 'Enjoy the math and show your wisdom.' To let the children feel the fun and mystery of math, the teachers of the math group designed and prepared 42 games, such as drawing cards, turntable game, throwing balls, ringtoss, tangram, the lost pointer, Super Brain, math doctor, number in mind, hidden graphics, poker battle, changing match, and Sudoku. The teachers worked together to organize the games.

这次数学探索之旅，最兴奋的还是可爱的孩子们。在听老师介绍规则的时候，他们一个个都专心致志，跃跃欲试。活动现场，拿着集章卡的孩子们，互相结伴，尽情穿梭在各个游戏现场。他们一起讨论，彼此鼓励，互相分享，交流着自己的闯关心得和集章数量。当通过自己的努力获得一枚盖章的时候，有的孩子会激动地跳起来，还有的迫不及待地拿着集章卡和老师分享，小脸上满是自豪。有的孩子在同一个游戏项目中失败了一次又一次，但仍坚定地说：“老师，我一定可以成功的，不行我就多努力几次。”那坚定的眼神和努力思考的模样让人动容！

When listening to the teacher's introduction of the rules, students were excited and eager to try. Students were shuttling through the games with their partners. They discussed together, encouraged each other, and shared their own experience. When they got a stamp, some children jumped up excitedly, and others couldn't wait to share it with teachers. Their faces were full of pride. Some children repeatedly failed in the same game but still said, 'I am sure I can succeed. If not, I will try more times.'

加里宁曾说过：“数学是锻炼思维的体操。因此，在此次数学趣味之旅活动中，为了增强学生学数学、用数学的真实体验，四五年级不仅有挑战性的数学趣味题，还有动手实践的“巧手搭一搭”和“先估后猜”数学游戏。趣味满满的100道数学题瞬间挑起四五年级同学的积极性，时而沉思，时而顿悟，时而欢呼雀跃……同学们乐此不疲。两个别具特色的数学游戏更是把活动推向高潮。在答题中孩子们的空间想象力得到提升，数理估算得到验证。全年级没有一位孩子游离在外。孩子们在活动中不仅获得了数学学习的好奇心和自信，也展示了他们独立思考与合作交流的能力。

Kalinin used to say, 'Mathematics is the gymnastics of thinking.' Therefore, Year 4 and Year 5 have challenging mathematical problems and games. The 100 math problems aroused the passion of Year 4 and Year 5 students who were never tired of it. Children gained curiosity, spatial imagination, and self-confidence in math learning and showed their independent thinking, cooperation, and communication abilities.

活动结束后，孩子们笑着对老师说：“老师，没想到原来数学真的这么好玩啊！”“老师，我都成数学迷了。”用自己所学的知识去闯关，对孩子们来说，是特别棒的体验。学以致用，过关斩将，成就感满满。孩子们在玩中学，学中玩，活动结束后还久久不愿散去。甚至有好些同学一直央求裁判老师再给他们一次答题的机会。数学活动虽然结束了，但同学们对数学的喜爱和探索欲望并没有消散。VBS小学数学组的老师们十分尊重孩子们好奇、好探究、好秩序、好分享的天性，让眼里有光的万小双们在探索数学世界时获得了成功的体验，永葆好奇心与求知欲！

After the activity, the children said to the teachers, 'I didn't expect that math could be so fun, and I became a fan of math.' It's an excellent experience for children to use what they have learned. Many students have been begging the referee teacher to give them another chance to answer questions. Although the math discovery is over, the student's love for math and desire for exploration has not dissipated. The VBS primary school math group teachers respect children's curiosity so that students can explore the math world and always maintain their curiosity and desire for knowledge!

首届万小双“数学探索之旅”秉承学校 “让孩子站在未来中央”为办学理念，通过多样化的具有生活价值的数学体验活动，让孩子们在自主思考、小组合作、班级竞争中掌握数学知识、提高数学能力、训练数学思维、感受数学魅力、享受数学学习的乐趣，从而增进学生的全局性理解力，学会运用所学知识解决实际生活问题，在探究中爱上学习，成为学力卓越、敢于创造美好未来的中国公民。

The first VBS Math Discovery adhered to the school philosophy of 'Let our children experience the future,' and children can learn math knowledge and enjoy learning math in independent thinking, group cooperation, and class competition. The activity also enhanced students' overall understanding. It helped them learn to use the knowledge to solve real-life problems, fall in love with learning, and become Chinese citizens who possess academic excellence and the courage to create a better future.
