万双网讯  为积极响应中共中央、国务院印发的《关于全面加强新时代大中小学劳动教育的意见》，引导VBS学子树立正确的劳动价值观和良好的劳动品质，提升劳动素养和劳动技能，在五一国际劳动节来临之际，万科双语学校小学部于2021年4月26日至28日在篮球馆开展了主题为“小比拼，大成长”生活技能比赛。全体小学生约700多人参与了本次竞赛。

VBS News Net: As International Labor Day was approaching, the Primary School of VBS held a life skills competition in the basketball hall from April 26 to 28. About 700 students from Years 1 to 5 participated in this competition.

比赛内容根据学生的年龄段特点和发展水平分年级，分项目展开，人人参与其中。低年级学生主要项目有叠衣服、佩戴红领巾、整理书本等；高年级学生从系鞋带、收纳睡袋、整理行李箱等项目展开。比赛采用迎面接力的形式，学生站立式起跑，鸣哨后队员出发，行进过程中按要求完成所有项目后与对面本班学生击掌，依次接力，直到同班所有人完成计时结束。

The tasks of the competition varied from age to age. Every student must participate in it. The main tasks for the lower grades included folding clothes, wearing a red scarf, and tidying the books. For the students from upper grades, their tasks were tying shoelaces, storing sleeping bags, and packing up the suitcases. The competition was a relay in which students stood up and started after the whistle blew. After completing all the tasks, they would clap with the students from the opposite side, and the next student would relay in turn until everyone in the class finished.

比赛在学校领导和老师们的精心组织下有条不紊地开展，随着裁判老师的一声令下，小选手们迅速进入比赛状态，争取最快的速度完成比赛任务。所谓“技艺在身不怕秀”，叠、系、戴、收纳、整理等一系列娴熟的动作在评委们眨眼间一气呵成，淋漓尽致地展现了“生活小能手”的良好形象。场下的队友们也热情高涨，整个赛场热情洋溢，掌声、加油声、欢呼声此起彼伏。

With the order of the referee teacher, the young players quickly started and strived to complete the tasks as soon as possible. Their teammates off the court were also very enthusiastic, and the arena was full of enthusiasm, applause, and cheering.

经过激烈的角逐，1O、2G 、3C 、4D 、5C荣获第一名，1F、2I、3D荣获第二名，1G、2E、3I荣获第三名。1C、1D、1E、1I、1V、1X、1Y 、2C、2D、2F、2O、2V 、3E、3F、3G、3V、3O 、4C、5D荣获优秀组织奖。5月7日下午，杨帆校长、郑世英校长助理为获奖班级颁发了奖牌、奖状。

After the competition, 1O, 2G, 3C, 4D, and 5C won first place, 1F, 2I, and 3D won second place, and 1G, 2E, and 3I won third place. 1C, 1D, 1E, 1I, 1V, 1X, 1Y, 2C, 2D, 2F, 2O, 2V, 3E, 3F, 3G, 3V, 3O, 4C, 5D won the Excellent Class Awards. On May 7, Principal Yang and Assistant Principal Ms. Zheng presented medals to the winning classes.

比赛结束后，VBS小记者王雨茜、陈思帆、蔡明希、周潇璇、黎盈、牛佳依、赵艺瑗、魏雅逸等现场对参与活动的同学们进行了采访。5D班杨雨桐表示这次活动锻炼了自己的动手能力，4D班孙启泰表示学会了更多的生活技巧，4D班刘子毅表示自己在家会做家务，活动增强了团队的凝聚力。

After the competition, VBS reporters Chen Sifan, Cai Mingxi, Zhou Xiaoxuan, Li Ying, Niu Jiayi, Zhao Yiyuan, and Wei Yayi interviewed the students participating in the competition. Yang Yutong from 5D said that this activity improved his manipulative ability. Sun Qitai from 4D said that he learned more life skills. Liu Ziyi from 4D said he would do housework at home, and the students strengthened their team's cohesion during the activity.

开展劳动技术教育既是帮助学生获得人生幸福的现实命题，又是培育担当民族复兴大任时代新人的重大课题。本次活动的开展不仅多层次、多种形式地激发了学生的劳动热情，还展示了VBS学子良好习惯养成成果和不凡的生活自理能力。“知行合一，生活即教育”。VBS积极践行学校办学理念，不断为学生搭建各种丰富多彩的活动平台，倾力培养自立、自强、自尊、自律的优秀学子，全面助力学生快乐成长，努力让孩子们自信地站在未来中央。

This activity stimulated students' enthusiasm for working hard, which demonstrated the good habits and self-care abilities of VBS students. VBS implements the school's philosophy and constantly holds various activities for students, striving to cultivate outstanding students who are independent and self-disciplined, comprehensively helping them grow up happily,  and letting them experience the future.
