万双网讯  2021年 4 月 6日，2020-2021第二学期第七周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由3F和3D 班承担。3F班是一个团结友爱、充满朝气的集体，每一张笑脸都代表着希望与未来。3D班是一个充满活力、阳光自信的集体，每一位同学都是最独特的存在，共同向着未来奋进。

VBS News Net: On April 6, the 7th week flag-raising assembly was held on the school playground, undertaken by 3F and 3D. 3F is a united, friendly and energetic group. Every smiling face represents hope and the future. 3D is an energetic, sunny and confident group. Every student is heading together towards the future.

Jia Bosi from 3F and Ouyang Yuhan from 3D co-hosted the assembly. Cai Zijian from 3F and Xiao Ya from 3D gave a speech. Their topic was: Embrace the multiple world, understand and respect every individual life.

我们生活在一个多元的世界，多姿多彩的传统文化构成了独具魅力的人文风景。各民族文化都以其鲜明的民族特色丰富了世界文化，共同推动了人类文明的发展和繁荣。多元的世界文化，开阔了我们的视野，丰富了我们的生活。

We live in a diverse world. All ethnic cultures enrich the world culture with their distinct national characteristics and jointly promote the development and prosperity of human civilization. Multiple world culture broadens our horizons and enriches our lives.

万双的每一个同学都应该拥有全球化、多元化的视角，构筑全球视野，站在未来中央。在我们大胆走向世界的同时，首先需要做到拥抱多元文化，学做中国公民。只有保持文化的多样性，世界才能更加丰富多彩，充满生机和活力。

Every student from VBS should have global, diversified perspectives. As we bravely step into the world, we must embrace multiculturalism and learn to be good Chinese citizens first.

We need to maintain more understanding and tolerance of the diversity of this beautiful world. To embrace the unknown, to actively innovate, and to face the challenges.

著名社会学家费孝通先生说过“各美其美,美人之美,美美与共,天下大同”。作为当代的学生，我们对这个多元的世界需要保持更多的理解和包容，迎接未知，积极创新，直面挑战。

The well-known sociologist Fei Xiaotong said, 'Achieving one's goal yields gratification, lending a hand to consummate others' goal doubles satisfaction, goals of self and others can be unified. Thus, the world can be harmonized.' As students, We need to understand and tolerate this diverse world, meet the unknown, actively innovate, and face challenges directly.

其次，多元的世界都是由一个个的个体组成，我们身边的每个人也都有他独特的一面，闪闪发光的一面，每个人都是富有尊严，独立存在的个体，每个人都希望得到他人的理解，每个人也应该得到他人的尊重。相互理解，相互尊重才能共同走向灿烂的明天。

Moreover, the diversity of the world is composed of individuals. Everyone around us also has his unique talents and personalities. Everyone is an independent individual, and is eager to be understood by others. We should respect others and then we will be respected as well.

每一个个体都是唯一的美好，尊重每一个个体，坚持做最好的自己。珍爱自己，让个性伴随着你，自信地站在自己的位置上。每日拭亮一个太阳，用大自然的琴弦，奏响自己心爱的乐曲，大声地宣告：我就是最靓丽的风景。

Every individual is a unique shining star. Respect others, treasure our own values, be confident, and we loudly declare:I am the best.

在保持自我的同时我们更要理解和尊重身边的每一个个体。每一个生命,一棵小草,一只蚂蚁，一只展翅飞翔的蝴蝶……再微小，都值得我们驻足观望，都值得我们安静一会儿，聆听翅膀的歌唱。动物有生命，那么植物呢？植物也一样，也有可贵的生命。它们并不是我们平时想象的那样，是一种只会吸收营养、默默生长的“东西”，它们也有生命，需要我们的精心呵护与照料。

At the same time, we should understand and respect every individual life around us. Every living life, grass, ants, butterflies...No matter how small it is, it's worth to be appreciated. They are life beings which need our care and love.

在我们三年级的零废弃PBL项目中，我们大家积极投入。现在，我们已经规划好了土地，进行了花园设计，研究了有机肥的制作。接下来，我们将播下种子，种下幼苗，希望我们每一个人能够尊重每一个幼小的生命，静待花开也是一种美好。

During the Zero Waste Project of Grade 3, we all actively participated. Now we have a piece of land to plant. We have designed our own garden and studied the production of organic fertilizer. For the next step, we are going to take good care of all our plants. Hope all of us can respect every single tiny life and wait patiently for the beautiful flowers and the harvest.

同学们，让我们拥抱多元世界，尊重每一个生命个体，我们就是未来！
