万双网讯  4月1日下午，龙华区2021年“三维悦读”初中语文“我最喜爱的课外书”现场演讲比赛在教科院附属实验学校举行，万科双语学校7C班张悠然同学荣获二等奖。

VBS News Net: On the afternoon of April 1, 2021, My Favorite Extracurricular Book Speech Contest in Longhua District was held at the Experimental School Affiliated to the Academy of Educational Sciences. Zhang Youran from 7C won the second prize.

 “三维阅读“即学生、家长、老师共同参与的阅读，多角度多层次的阅读可以切实提高同学们的阅读水平，并对世界有更深入的思考。比赛由龙华区教育科学研究院主办，旨在通过本次活动倡议每位同学多读书，读好书，打造书香校园。

3D reading refers to reading in which students, parents, and teachers participate together. Reading from multiple angles and levels can effectively improve students' reading level and make them have deeper thinking about the world. The contest is sponsored by the Longhua District Educational Science Research Institute, aiming to encourage every student to read more and read well.

龙华区各学校共38名同学参加了本次比赛。比赛本着公平公正的原则，在展示过程中不报学校，不做自我介绍。每位选手用一分钟时间介绍自己的推荐书，随后回答评委的提问。张悠然同学推荐了《杀死一只知更鸟》这本书。当评委问她从这本书里得到的普世价值观是什么时，她落落大方地回答道：“这本书告诉我们人与人生来平等，不能以肤色区分等级，每个人都要为维护世界平等而努力。”

A total of 38 students from schools in Longhua District participated in the contest. The contest was based on the principle of fairness and justice. During the competition, no school name or self-introduction was required. Each contestant spent one minute introducing his recommendation book and then answered questions from the judges.  Zhang Youran recommended To Kill a Mockingbird. When the judges asked her what universal values she got from this book, she replied, 'This book tells us that human beings cannot be differentiated by skin color. Everyone must work hard to maintain equality in the world.'

最终，张悠然同学以深刻的解读、自信的演讲荣获二等奖。

In the end, Zhang Youran won the second prize for her profound interpretation and confident speech.

 To Kill a Mockingbird

各位评委老师下午好，我是7号，今天为大家推荐的书叫《杀死一只知更鸟》。本书主要讲述了二十世纪三十年代，大萧条时期美国南部的一个小镇上，六岁的女孩斯库特与哥哥和当律师的父亲阿迪克斯一起生活。阿迪克斯被法院指定为一名黑人辩护，他被控强奸一位白人少女。虽然事实是黑人并没有强奸白人少女，大家也都心知肚明，可在种族歧视严重，黑人不可能胜诉白人的时代，这位无辜的黑人，还是被送进了监狱。

Good afternoon, teachers and judges. The book recommended for you today is To Kill a Mockingbird. This book mainly tells a story of a six-year-old girl named Scout living with her father, Atticus, a lawyer, in a small town in the southern United States during the Great Depression in the 1930s. Atticus was appointed by the court to defend a black man who was accused of raping a white girl. Although the fact is that he did not rape the white girl, blacks could not win against whites as racial discrimination was severe. In the end, the innocent black man was still sent to prison.

阿迪克斯说过一句话：“有一种东西不能遵循从众原则，那就是人的良心。”

Atticus said, 'The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience.'

六岁女孩斯库特说：“我认为世界上只有一种人，那就是人。”

The 6-year-old girl Scout said, 'I think there is only one kind of person in the world, and that is human.'

这不仅是书中的精髓，也是对我们现在的启示。只有忽视外表，不随波逐流，才能看清事物的本质，遵循自己的良心，做出正确的判断。只有放下种族和出身，消除歧视和偏见，才能让人类更加团结和谐，世界更加和平美好。

This is not only the key of the book but also the inspiration for us. Only by ignoring the appearance and not following the trend can you see the key of things. You should follow your conscience and make correct judgments. Only by letting go of race and origin and eliminating discrimination and prejudice can humankind be more united and harmonious and make the world more peaceful and beautiful.
