万双网讯   2021年3月22日，2020-2021第二学期第五周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由3E班和3O 班承担。两个班都是团结友爱、乐观向上的集体。

VBS News Net: On March 22, the 5th week flag-raising assembly was held on the school playground, undertaken by 3E and 3O, who are optimistic and united.

升旗仪式由3E 班吴玥辰和3O班赵香涵主持。3E班邹昊洋和3O班朱思翰做了演讲。他们演讲的题目是《书香润心灵，阅读促成长》。

Wu Yuechen from 3E and Zhao Xianghan from 3O co-hosted the assembly. Zou Haoyang from 3E and Zhu Sihan from 3O gave a speech. Their topic was: Books nourish our mind while reading promotes our growth.

俗话说“读万卷书，行万里路”，阅读带给人们的不仅仅是暂时的精神愉悦，而且会使人终生受益。养成良好的课外阅读习惯将有利于我们开阔视野、增长知识、活跃思维，发展智力。

As the old saying goes “Read thousands of books and walk thousands of miles,” reading can not only bring temporary spiritual enjoyment to people, but also benefit people’s lifelong journey. Developing good reading habits will help us broaden horizons, increase knowledge, foster thinking, and develop intelligence.

书是一股清泉，它灌溉着我们干渴的心灵；书是一缕初春的阳光，它给予我们心灵的慰藉；书，将我们带入了神奇的大自然，尽情地享受那宁静柔美的绿色世界。

Book is a stream of fresh spring that waters our thirsty soul. Book is a ray of sunshine in early spring that comforts our soul. Book takes us to the magic nature to relish the quiet and sweet green world.

每次的阅读课，同学们都会兴奋地前往学校的图书馆，看着摆放满满的整齐的书籍，大家总是迫不急待地开始寻找自己喜欢的书。看书的时候，同学们都会聚精会神地捧着手中的书，有的同学时而笑出声来，有的同学表情凝重，有的同学偶尔会一声叹气，甚至有的同学还会哭泣……原来在书的世界里，每个同学都可以找到喜怒哀乐，而我在看书的时候喜欢细细地品味书中的文字，静静地探索未知的事物，默默地感受书中的乐趣。

Students go to the school library so excitedly for every reading class. Once in a sea of books, they can’t wait to search for their favorite book.  Holding a book in the hands, students are so absorbed in reading that some even burst out into a laughter, some with grim face. Some sigh occasionally while others even shed tears. In the world of books, everyone can feel joy, anger, sorrow and happiness. Yet, as for me, I like digesting the words deeply, exploring the unknown quietly and enjoying fun silently.

我非常喜欢寻宝、科学、漫画类的书籍，比如最近正在看的《大中华寻宝系列》图书，它以精彩逗趣的漫画为表现形式，以紧张刺激的寻宝故事为线索，将全国各地的地理风貌、历史遗迹、文化艺术、物产资源等知识内容巧妙的融进故事情节中。书中内容图文并茂、生动有趣，不仅使我认识了祖国的大好河山，拓展了我的视野，并且在地埋、历史以及我国文化方面的知识学习提供了大量的帮助。

I prefer adventurous, scientific and comic books. These days, I’m reading a book series of treasure hunt in China. Taking thrilling stories of treasure hunt as the clue, this book series subtly integrates the elements of geographical features, historical relics, cultural arts and natural resources in different parts of China by attractive and funny cartoons. All these make the books very vivid and interesting, which not only acquaints me with the marvelous sceneries in our country, broadens my view, but also expands my knowledge of our country in geography, history, and culture.

书滋润了我们的心灵，阅读促进了我们的成长；书是我们终身的朋友，正所谓“走遍天下书为侣”。相信大家也和我们一样，在阅读中收获了知识，愉悦了心灵。在这里，我真诚地希望同学们和我一样畅享书香，体验阅读的快乐！

Books nourish our mind while reading promotes our growth. Books are our lifelong friend, just as the saying goes “Travel around the world with a book.” I belief, just like us, it is from reading that everyone gets knowledge and our soul is delighted. Here, by this chance, I sincerely wish we all can embark on the journey of books and experience the pleasure of reading.
