万双网讯为给孩子一个“光明”的世界，一双明亮的眼睛，提高儿童青少年防控近视的意识, 2021年3月8日，深圳市眼科医院刘美洲院长一行来到万科双语学校开展儿童青少年近视防控系列活动。

万科双语学校作为深圳市4所儿童青少年近视防控试点学校之一，得到了深圳市眼科医院的特别关注。深圳市眼科医院每学期初和学期末分别为VBS学子进行视力筛查，并通过数据分析给学校提出建议。当天上午，深圳市眼科医院为全校学生做了屈光、视力筛查。同时，深圳市第二人民医院为4-9年级同学做了脊柱侧弯检查。

As one of the four pilot schools for myopia prevention and control in children and adolescents in Shenzhen, VBS has received special attention from Shenzhen Eye Hospital. Shenzhen Eye Hospital conducts vision screening for VBS students at the beginning and end of each semester and provides suggestions to the school through data analysis. In the morning, Shenzhen Eye Hospital did a refractive and vision screening for all students. At the same time, Shenzhen Second People's Hospital did a scoliosis examination for students in Years 4 to 9.

当天下午，儿童青少年近视防控座谈会在学校105会议室召开。刘美洲院长、龙文博士、帅心怡医生等与杨帆校长进行了深入交流，从学校生源、教室采光、课桌椅高度、家庭遗传等方面全面分析孩子近视的原因。刘院长赞扬万科双语学校环境优美、课程丰富、户外活动时间充裕，同时表示将为学校进行专业的近视防控指导。

In the afternoon, a forum on the prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents was held in the school's 105 meeting room. President Liu Meizhou, Dr. Long Wen, and Dr. Shuai Xinyi talk in-depth with Principal Yang and comprehensively analyzed the causes of children's myopia from the aspects of students' source, classroom lighting, desks and chairs height, and family genetics. President Liu praised VBS for its beautiful environment, great courses, and enough time for outdoor activities. At the same time, he said that he would provide professional guidance on myopia prevention and control for the school.

在学校剧场，深圳市眼科医院龙文博士为同学们进行了近视防控专题讲座。龙文博士详细介绍了近视形成的原因、对人生的影响及防控近视的方法，让师生们受益匪浅。在提问环节，小朋友们积极发问，提出了各种各样关于视力的疑问，得到了龙文博士的悉心解答。

In the theater, Dr. Long Wen from Shenzhen Eye Hospital gave a lecture on the prevention and control of myopia. He introduced the causes of myopia, its impact on life, and how to prevent and control myopia in detail, which benefited teachers and students a lot. During the Q & A session, the children asked various questions about vision, which were answered carefully by Dr. Long Wen.

讲座结束时，龙文博士接受了学校热情的小记者的采访，进一步为孩子们解疑答惑。本次活动让学生懂得了保护眼睛的重要性，提升了对近视危害的认知，对学生养成爱眼护眼的良好习惯具有重要作用。

At the end of the lecture, a VBS reporter interviewed Dr. Long Wen. This activity allows students to understand the importance of eye protection, enhances their awareness of myopia, and plays a vital role in developing a good habit of protecting eyes.
