万双网讯  为培养学生卓越的领导力，发展学生特长，3月2日下午，万科双语学校剧场外长廊充满了欢声笑语。初中部社团招募会正在这里热烈举行。七八年级100多名学生参与了本次招募。

VBS News Net: VBS held student societies recruitment in the corridor outside the theater on 2nd March to allow students to develop their interests and leadership for holistic character development. Hundreds of students from Year 7 & Year 8 participated in the events.

当天，经过团支部审核，11个学生社团进行了现场招募。社长们积极准备海报，现场进行游说和展示。每个社团都有明确的活动内容和目标，招募场面十分热烈，同学们纷纷选择自己喜欢的社团进行报名。

Eleven student societies held recruitment after review by the Youth League branch. The presidents actively prepared posters and displayed them in the recruitment. Each society has a clear activity content and goals, and the recruitment was a great success that students have chosen their favorite societies to register.

“某科学的魔法协会”的社长姚俊熙做了充分的准备，现场进行了“科学魔法”演示实验，收获了很多小粉丝，成功招募到31位同学。“摄影社”的社员们带来了相机、无人机，吸引了很多同学的关注。

Yao Junxi, the president of the Magic society, has fully prepared for the recruitment. He demonstrated an experiment of 'Science Magic,' gained a lot of fans, and successfully recruited 31 students. The members of the Photography society brought cameras and drones, which attracted the attention of many students.

最终，10个社团成功招募。分别是：摄影社、绘画社、夕阳红电影社、爵士舞社、LSP篮球社、SKY羽毛球社、GOD篮球社、立刻有阅读社、某科学的魔法协会、有趣的C++。

In the end, ten clubs successfully recruited members. They are Photography society, Painting society, Film society, Jazz Dance society, LSP Basketball society, SKY Badminton society, GOD Basketball society, Reading society, Magic society, and C++ society.

社团活动是万科双语学校推力课程之一，由学生自主创社，自主开展活动。社团活动的开展丰富了学生的课余生活，培养了学生优秀的组织、管理、创新、合作、交流等能力，为让孩子成为人格健全、学力卓越，具有国际视野和家国情怀, 敢于创造美好未来的中国公民奠基。

Society activity is a key component of VBS Booster Curriculum, in which students can create societies and carry out activities independently. The societies' activities enrich students’ spare time and cultivate students' excellent organizational, management, innovation, cooperation, and communication abilities. It also helps VBS cultivate Chinese citizens who possess sound personality, academic excellence, international horizons, patriotism, and the courage to create a better future.
