万双网讯  1月18日至21日下午，万科双语学校室内篮球馆内加油声、呐喊声此起彼伏，每一位万双少年的脸上洋溢着阳光、自信和激情。2021年“万双杯”初中班级篮球联赛正在这里热烈举行。

VBS News Net: 2021 VBS Cup Inter-class Junior Secondary Basketball League was held from 18th to 21st January at Indoor Basketball Hall with cheers, confidence and passion on students. 

比赛采用国际篮联“5人制”比赛规则，分四节进行，每节8分钟。中场休息时间进行投篮比赛。师生们在比赛中奋勇争先，敢于拼搏，赛出了风格，赛出了水平。

The league was carried out by FIBA five-on-five rules with four 8-minute quarters. Shooting contest was held at halftime. Teachers and students did their best in the game.

经过4天激烈的争夺，七年级高泽楷、张悠然、曾梓煌、祝凯盈、刘骐畅 张诗淼、陈政鑫、林雨慈，八年级刘钡涵、林雯迪、林库安、叶欣蓉、卢禹铭、张云棋、刘宗翰、曾蔚文，九年级王培森、胡嘉芮、张新雨、窦薇薇、曹炜、张诗雨获得“最有价值球员”称号。

After four days, Gao Zekai, Zhang Youran, Zeng Zihuang, Zhu Kaiying, Liu Qichang, Zhang Shuimiao, Chen Zhengxin, Lin Yuci from Grade 7, Liu Beihan, Lin Wendi, Lin Ku'an, Ye Xinrong, Lu Yuming, Zhang Yunqi, Liu Zonghan, Zeng Weiwen from Grade 8 and Wang Peisen, Hu Jiarui, Zhang Xinyu, Dou Weiwei, Cao Wei and Zhang Shiyu were named Player of the Game. 

七年级曾梓煌、八年级乔治、九年级姜凯文荣获“最佳射手”奖。

Zeng Zihuang from Grade 7, Qiao Zhi from Grade 8 and Jiang Kaiwen from Grade 9 received best shooter award.

7C班、8E班、9E班荣获冠军，7D班、8D班、9C班荣获亚军，7F班、8F班、9D班荣获季军，7E班、8C班获得第四名。

7C, 8E and 9E were the winners, 7D, 8D and 9C were the runner-ups, 7F, 8F and 9D were the second runner-ups, 7E and 8C were the third runner-ups.

颁奖典礼上，林红英校长助理做了总结发言，鼓励同学们继续学习提高技术，把篮球作为自己的一项特长。

At the award presentation, Assistant Principal Ms. Lin made the closing speech. She encouraged students to improve their basketball skills as their strength.

赛后岳宇豪同学采访了最佳球员林库安和林雯迪。林库安同学表示：“感谢学校、老师为我们组织的这场篮球赛，从比赛中我学到了怎样控好球，怎样组织球队，也让我的篮球技能有所增强。”林雯迪同学表示：“在比赛中我意识到了团队的力量，我也感受到了篮球运动的快乐。在今后的体育课上我会更加努力学习篮球技能，争取下次更厉害。”

Yue Yuhao interviewed Lin Ku'an and Lin Wendi. Lin Ku'an said, 'I really thank the school and teachers who organised this league. I learn to control the ball, organise my team and improve my skills,' Lin Wendi said, 'I learn the team power during the game and enjoy playing basketball. I will learn basketball more at PE lessons to be better next time.'

本次篮球联赛安排在期末考试结束后，为同学们打造一个彻底放松身心、释放压力的平台，提升了学生体育素养，增强了班级凝聚力，丰富了学生课余生活，涵养了学生乐观坚毅的品质，营造了阳光向上的校园氛围。同时，助力学生获得健全的人格，积极走向未来。

This league was organised after end of semester exams to allow students to destress and improve their sports skills, class cohesion and ability to be optimistic and gritty. It also allowed students to embrace their future with sound personality.

尊敬的杨校、老师们、同学们大家下午好！

Dear Principal Yang, teachers and fellow students,

一周来，篮球馆是最激动人心的地方。这里，处处激荡着欢呼声、呐喊声，同学们激情四射、充满活力，大家特别开心，特别快乐。一周来，我也很开心。当然，更多的是感动。

Good afternoon. It has been an exciting week at Indoor Basketball Hall. Everyone is enjoying themselves with cheers and basketball movements. I am happy and touched too. 

首先感动于老师们的辛勤付出。本周小学也在开展活动，初中只有两位体育老师还有一名外教，人手不够的情况下体育组想尽办法，借用了其他部门的老师来帮忙。两位体育老师本周还有三个年级的体育课，组织了22场比赛，工作量可想而知，非常辛苦！还有我们的班主任，期末各项工作繁杂，但班主任们全程陪同各班比赛，与同学们共同分享你们的快乐，手头的工作加班加点完成。所以，我建议同学们把掌声送给可爱的老师们。

First, I am touched by teachers' effort. We only have two PE teachers with one international teacher available due to activities organised by Primary School Department. So we asked other teachers to help. It is tiring for them to deliver Primary 3 PE classes while organising 22 games. Home room teachers have a hectic week too but they are here as well to share the happy moments with you. Guys please give a round of applause to your teachers.

其次，我感动于同学们的奋勇拼搏。每一场球赛同学们都拼尽全力，特别是有些班级在大比分落后很多的情况下，依然不放弃，奋起直追，抓住每一个机会，尽自己最大努力。昨天七年级对抗八年级，在身高差距很大的情况下，七年级的同学们密切配合不甘落后，比分紧咬八年级，打出了七年级的气势。我建议，我们把掌声送给可敬的篮球队员们。

I am touched by your courage. You have done your best in every game even when you are having a deficit. You do not give up at all. Yesterday Grade 7 students were still trying hard to catch up with Grade 8 scores despite they were disadvantaged in terms of heights. Please cheer for these players.

还有，感动于同学们的团结协作。每个班级的比赛，都有强大的啦啦队在支持着同学们的比赛，昨天八年级E班和D班的女生比赛，E班的男生舞动着红背心，一直坚持到比赛结束。每个参赛队都有班级强大的力量在支持，不论输赢，同学们都是幸福的。我建议，同学们把掌声送给我们的同学们。

I am also touched by your teamwork. Supporters are cheering all the way off the court. Every team has their true supporters. Putting the results aside, you are all blessed. Thus please cheer for yourselves too. 

最后，我感动于同学们的互相包容。篮球比赛是最激烈的身体对抗比赛，22场比赛，有多少肢体的碰撞啊，但是，同学们都能互相理解，互相包容，万双的同学们大气、友善，让人敬佩。我建议，同学们把掌声送给我们自己。

Finally I am touched by your kindness. Basketball is a physical game with many physical contact in 22 games. But you are friendly to one another. Please put your hands for yourselves again. 

我也想给同学们提一条建议。每场比赛都有全班参与投篮的环节，但是，整个班级能投中的只有个别同学，说明同学们还需要学习，每个班级每周都有一节篮球课，同学们要认真学习，提高技术，把篮球作为自己的一项特长，我希望，万双的学生都会打篮球。

I also have a suggestion to all of you. Only a few students make their shots in the shooting game. Others have to practise a lot in the basketball classes. I truly hope everyone from VBS can play basketball.
