万双网讯  为培养学生卓越的领导力，出色的演讲、合作与交流能力，2021年1月5日下午，万科双语学校初中部在剧场举办社团展示会。林红英校长助理及初中部七八年级全体学生参与了本次活动。

VBS News Net: VBS Junior Secondary School Department hosted presentation for student societies on 5th January 2021 to develop leadership, presentation skills, teamwork and the ability to communicate. Assistant Principal Ms. Lin attended the event with students from grade 7 and 8.

在本次活动中，初中部14个社团全面展示了社团日常活动内容、取得的成绩与努力的方向。其中爵士舞社社长张潆心与社员们进行了舞蹈展示。

All 14 societies made a presentation on what they have done, achievements and future goals during their regular sessions. Jazz Dance Society President Zhang Yingxin led a demo with other members.

LSP篮球社、这就是篮球社、乒乓球社展示了社团日常训练内容：变向变速跑、基础投篮、小组对抗赛、分组训练等。

Basketball Societies and Table Tennis Society demonstrated their training sessions - basic shooting, out-and-back running at varied pace, intra-squad game and sectional practice.

动漫社社员们化身为动漫人物，用舞蹈演绎“世界已坠入恋河”。

Comics Society members adopted cosplay to perform the dance 'Sekai wa Koi Ni Ochiteiru'.

 音乐欣赏社社长乔治介绍社团通过对歌手和音乐的分析，提升同学们的音乐素养。

Music Analysis Society President Qiao Zhi introduced how members in the society improved their music literacy by analysing singers and music.

天文研究社苏嫣然、王雨茜介绍了太阳系，同时介绍了天文望远镜的使用方法。

Su Yanran and Wang Yuxi from Astronomy Research Society introduced the solar system and gave a tutorial on using telescopes.

理工社社长姚俊熙现场进行蓝瓶子演示实验，介绍了本学期带领社员们学习的理化知识，社员李源芮表示在活动中进行了很多有趣的实验，收获颇多。

Science and Engineering Society President Yao Junxi demonstrated blue bottle experiment to introduce the knowledge that all members studied this semester. Li Yuanrui said that she performed many interesting experiments and learned a lot.

进级的动漫社从临摹开始，指导社员学习不同人物风格和画法，并展示了社员们的动漫人物绘画作品。

Upgrading Comics Society presented members' work on drawing characters from the comics to showcase how they taught members to draw in different styles.

摄影社李斯骐、刘亦然、蔡明希展示了本学期社员们在校园活动中拍摄的照片、剪辑的短视频，充分展示了他们的摄影技巧，赢得了同学们热烈的掌声。

Photography Society members Li Siqi, Liu Yiran and Cai Mingxi presented their photos and videos taken for this semester to demonstrate their photo-taking and editing skills to receive applause from their peers.

SSD社胡智朝带领社员们学习了3D建模设计与切片设计，并总结了活动中的不足之处。

SSD Society President Hu Zhizhao led members to study 3D modelling design and slicing design while summarising the pros and cons of their activities.

NICE烘培社吕佳蔚、党子健带领社员们制作了很多美食：比如奶茶、蛋糕、煎饼。家长会上，给每位家长做了美味的奶茶。

Lyu Jiawei and Dang Zijian from NICE Bakery Society made cuisines with members - bubble tea, cake and pancakes. They offered these items to parents during PTC.

Traditional Arts Appreciation Society President Niu Jiayi led members to understand four famous dans in Beijing Opera and analysed 'Dingjun Mountain' as well as other Arts such as cross talks to know more about our traditional arts.

Shine Your Way Drama Society President Gai Jiahui performed her adapted comedy 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' with her members to offer some joy to peers during their studies.

As a key component of VBS Booster Curriculum, students can have individual development while developing their own interests and strength in the form of student societies. This presentation session has provided a solid foundation to develop student societies further at VBS when showcasing students' excellent ability to organise, innovate, communicate and cooperate with one another.
