万双网讯  2020年 12 月28日，2020-2021第一学期第18周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由8E班承担。 8E 班是一个活力四射、开拓创新、团结有爱的集体。

VBS News Net: The 18th week flag-raising assembly was held in school playground on 28th December 2020 and it was undertaken by 8E this week. Class 8E is an innovative and united group of students.

升旗仪式由8E班高子恒、蔡淳羽主持。贾云帆、张越做了演讲。他们演讲的题目是《喜迎元旦 奋进前行》。

Gao Ziheng and Cai Chunyu co-hosted the assembly. Jia Yunfan and Zhang Yue made the speech titled 'Embracing the new year and carry on'.

2020，是不同寻常的一年；年初新型冠状病毒的突如其来，让这一年充满了各种戏剧性，阴霾曾笼罩在我们头顶，悲伤曾弥漫在我们的心间。

2020 is an unusual year. The sudden appearance of COVID-19 has claimed many lives, also made the whole year dramatic. Our hearts were filled with sadness and we could not see the hope.

幸运的是，因为一道光，我们得以拨开云雾见青天。这道光便是中华民族那自强不息、顽强拼搏的精神；是牺牲自我、拯救他人的人性光辉！也是团结一心、众志成城的意志；它带领我们穿透恐慌的阴霾，它给我们带来新生的希望！

Fortunately, thanks to our nation's resilience, we were able to beat the virus. We were tenacious, bonded and willing to sacrifice to save others. This gave us hope for rebirth.

还记得那些奋战在抗击疫情第一线的医务工作人员吗？他们义无返顾地奔向这没有硝烟的战场，穿梭在生死之间；还记得那些活跃在各自岗位的平凡人吗？纵横交错的交通要塞，是交警和消毒人员在严格把关；大大小小的社区里，是忙碌的基层人员在张贴预防疫情的教育宣传单；冰天雪地里，是普通如你我的人送来了口罩和生活必需的物资；还有，你我安定坐着的明亮教室的背后，是许许多多老师和工作人员辛勤工作的身影……

Do you remember those medical workers who were fighting on the front line? Do you still remember those ordinary people who were not fighting in the front line, but were active in their posts and doing extraordinary things? They were ordinary people like you and me. Thanks a lot to hard working teachers, we can sit in the bright classroom and enjoy the wonderful learning time.

2020，疫情的突如其来，令所有人措手不及。但是，北斗全球导航成功组建，探月工程嫦娥五号发射取得圆满成功，长征八号运载火箭首飞试验成功，第七次全国人口普查顺利进行，十三五计划圆满收官，脱贫攻坚成果举世瞩目，城镇新增就业超过六千万人，新冠肺炎疫情防控取得重大战略成果……2020，我国经济运行总体平稳，经济实力、科技实力、综合国力跃上新的大台阶……太多的石破天惊的壮举，背后是党和人民众志成城的决心和天道酬勤的实践精神！

我们应立足当下，关注未来。“未来已来”、“将至已至”。疫情让教育更加智能化，万双云课、空中课堂、IPad全景课堂，我们的学习和生活，更加个性化、智能化，精细化了。“线上+线下”的融合，“云端+实体”的共建，以人工智能为核心的未来已扑面而来，与科技共舞。我们应用新科技武装自己，接纳更好的未来。

We should focus on the present and the future. "the future has come" . VBS cloud class, online classroom and iPad cloud classroom, our learning is more personalized, detailed and intelligent. Whether it is the integration of "Online and offline"，and the building of "cloud and entity", it is related to the future. The future with artificial intelligence has come. We should use new science and technology to embrace future.

我们应推己及人，民胞物与。2020，我们明白了“利他才能利己”，明白了必须“和世界站在一起”。没有人是一座孤岛，你的一切福祉，几乎都离不开整个社会的良性发展。人没有可以独善其身，人类是一个命运共同体，我们只有凝聚更多的共识，让社会在一点一点进步中变得更好，学会以利他的方式利己，才能最终惠及所有人。

We should consider others, and people should live with nature in peace. We understand that "altruism is the only way to benefit ourselves" and that we must "stand with the world".  There is no one in the world who can be left alone. Only by gathering more consensus, making society better in progress, and learning to benefit ourselves in an altruistic way, can we finally benefit everyone.

我们应扎根现实，积极实践。在艰难的疫情社会背景下，我国仍旧取得了辉煌的成就。千千万万有责任有担当又有本领的人，为民众付出，为祖国做贡献，才有了今天这和平安定，积极发展的一切。我们有了更坚定的信念，明白了学习的意义，为祖国美好的未来而奋战书海！我们应找到自己心中的灯，并将它点亮，温暖自己，照亮世界！

We should focus on the reality and seek practice. Under the difficult social background of epidemic situation, China has still made brilliant achievements. Tens of thousands of people who have responsibility, and ability to pay for the people and contribute to the motherland have today's peace, stability and positive development.  we understand the significance of our study, have a stronger belief, fight for our country and our own future。
