万双网讯  为提升VBS未来少年的阅读素养，学会挑选阅读的书籍，11月26日下午，万科双语学校“悦读.创未来”系列活动之作家讲座在学校剧场举行。林红英校长助理、全体初中学生参与了本次活动。

VBS News Net: VBS 'Enjoy reading to create the future' - author's campus visit was held on 26th November at school theatre to improve reading literacy and book selection skills. Assistant Principal Ms. Lin and all junior secondary school students took part in this event.

本次活动特邀《阅读无缰》一书的作者沈世坤老师主讲，他从阅读的意义出发，告诉同学们阅读不要被缰绳束缚，要广泛阅读，并重点推荐了俄罗斯、英国、美国、日本、法国的著名作家以及他们的经典著作，希望同学们阅读经典名著，用阅读打下人生坚实的根基。

Author of the book ‘Boundless Reading' Mr. Shen Shikun was invited to speak. He began with the purpose of reading to tell students to read extensively and recommended books written by Russian, British, American, Japanese, French authors. He advised students to lay a solid foundation of their lives by reading.

在互动环节中，很多作家推荐的名著都有同学阅读过。他们踊跃分享，或朗诵，或介绍著作内容，展示了VBS学子优秀的阅读素养。

During the Q&A session, students shared their thoughts about the recommended books they already read - by reciting, introducing the content to show their reading literacy.

万科双语学校高度重视学生阅读能力的培养，通过“悦读.创未来”系列活动为学生搭建展示和学习的平台，为培养学生卓越的阅读力和学习力奠基。

VBS emphasises the nurturing of students' reading and studying ability by organising 'Enjoy reading to create the future' to give students opportunities to study and present themselves.
