万双网讯  为激发学生阅读兴趣，以榜样的力量引领学生，11月2日上午，万科双语学校“悦读∙创未来”之作家进校园系列活动在学校剧场举行。郑世英校长助理、小学部三四五年级师生约300余人参与了本次活动。

VBS 'Enjoy reading to create the future' - author's campus visit was held on 2nd November at school theatre to allow students to gain interests in reading and learn from role models. Assistant Principal Ms. Zheng led 300 teachers and students from Primary 3, 4 and 5 levels in this session.

本次公益活动特邀北京电影学院副教授葛竞（中国作家协会第六届、第七届代表大会最年轻的代表，北京作家协会理事，“五个一工程”奖评委，“中国好书”评委。已出版“魔法学校”系列、“幸运兔精灵”系列、“猫眼小子包达达”系列等五十余部儿童文学作品。作品曾获陈伯吹儿童文学奖、中华优秀出版物奖等）做客万双，她讲述了自己成为作家的经历，现场分享了《中国女排》和《中国航天员》的创作历程，重点介绍了中国女排的精神，引导学生学会观察生活，将日常生活的小事写成文章，在写作上给了孩子们极大启发，并鼓励孩子们坚持阅读和写作的好习惯。

Associate Professor Ge Jing (the youngest representative in general assembly of Chinese Authors' Association, member of Beijing Authors' Association, judge for 'Good books in China' with more then 50 publications - 'Magic Schools', 'Lucky Rabbit Elves', 'Boy with cat eyes' series and prize winners for Chen Baichui Children's Literature and Chinese Excellent Publications) from Beijing Film Academy was invited to this public welfare event. She introduced her life experience on becoming an author and drafting Chinese Astronauts and Chinese Women Volleyball Team. She focused on spirits displayed by female volleyballers to guide students to observe things in life before writing down in their compositions. She enlightened students on writing and encouraged them to be consistent in reading and writing so that they would make it a habit.

孩子们现场认真聆听和记录，并与葛竞老师互动交流，受益匪浅。

Students paid attention to Professor Ge and jotted down notes before communicating with her to seek knowledge.
