【科技节】博闻强识,创新赢未来——VBS第三届科技节百科知识竞赛圆满落幕

万双网讯 “飞机是怎么飞上天的?”“假如没有摩擦力,会出现哪些现象?……”10月20日至22日晚6:50,万科双语学校初中部第三届科技节百科知识竞赛暨手抄报、手工发明制作颁奖会在学校剧场拉开帷幕。

A: 百科知识竞赛

Knowledge Challenge


本次竞赛分为有问必答、快速抢答、风险提速三个环节。初中部各年级选手展开了激烈的角逐。台上选手分坐两列,踌躇满志;台下各班同学认真聆听,热情洋溢。在有问必答环节中,每位参赛选手都展现出超强的科学素养;在快速抢答环节中,选手们按捺不住激动的心情,上演“惊心一抢”;最后的答题环节“风险提速”异常紧张刺激,各班抽签决定答题顺序,可以选择20、30、40分不同分值的题目,答对加分,答错则扣相应分值。在这决胜的关键时刻,每个班都在进行激烈的头脑风暴,争取赢得比赛的胜利。许多诸如“飞机是如何飞上天”的颇具难度的问题,都被选手们轻松应对,台下观众争相点赞,掌声四起。


There were three components in the challenge - compulsory questions, quick response and challenging questions. Students were divided into two groups - participants sat on stage whereas others listened closely off the stage in these close games. They showed excellent science literacy in all three rounds, as they brainstormed throught the final challenge component - they could select the questions based on their points but they would lose points if their answers were wrong. Hard questions such as the principle of airplanes could be answered correctly with applause given by the audience.






























竞赛结束,杨帆校长、林红英校长助理为同学们现场颁发了奖状。


Principal Yang and Assistant Principal Ms. Lin gave out certificates at the end of the challenge.




 

B: 手抄报、手工发明制作颁奖

Awards presentation for hand-written papers and productions


活动中,各年级对科技节优秀手抄报作品、小发明小制作进行了颁奖。同时,获得小发明小制作奖的同学进行了现场演讲和展示。


Students who made excellent papers and productions received prizes during the session after giving presentations and demos.







一等奖获得者李斯骐同学给大家展示了他亲手制作的打磨器,通过纯手工组装,能够完成多种的木料打磨,同时还能控制打磨速度。


First Prize winner Li Siqi presented his grinder by hands to control the speed of grinding for different kinds of woods.




马浩哲同学制作的仿生机械鱼可以利用马达带动曲柄连杆,做偏心轮运动。他把鱼的身体分成头、躯干、尾,在头、躯干、尾三个连接点采用了十字轴进行连接固定,形成了一个仿生鱼。他用这个作品呼吁保护海洋资源,保护鱼类的生活环境。


Ma Haozhe made a mechanical fish with motors to allow the fish to turn by fixing the head, body and tail. He would like to use this item to make a call for cherishing ocean resources and conserving habitats of all fish species.




贾博文同学制作的足球机器人由编程软件和芯片控制,锂电池驱动,手机控制,同时利用麦克纳姆轮、力学使机器轮完成左右、旋转、斜前后运动,并利用摩擦轮式原理发射小足球。


Jia Bowen made a robot to play football powered by battery using programming software and chips. This robot could be controlled over the phone to perform actions of all sorts by Mecanum wheel and the launch of football by friction pulley.





李昶瑜同学制作的是一个精巧的机械抓臂苏嫣然同学制作的是一个感应机器人


Li Poyu made a mechanical grappler arm and Su Yanran produced a sensor robot.

邵嘉芸同学制作的是气压挖掘机,用木材制作挖掘机的手抓模型,手动控制针筒,通过气压改变使挖掘机手抓模型运动。


Shao Jiayun made an excavator by woods controlled by air pressure difference.

李紫若同学制作的声控灯,利用声音产生的震动来控制灯的开关,起到节省能源的作用。


Li Ziruo made a sound control lamp which could save power by sound vibration.

同学们在展示的过程中获得赞许声一片,观众们纷纷感叹科技的神奇。


Students received applause whereas others were amazed by the power of science and technology.


本次百科知识竞赛是一场场强手之间的激烈角逐,知识性和趣味性并重,包罗万象,内容涉及科学、生物、地理、化学、物理、历史等多个方面,展示了VBS学子丰富的知识储备和乐观包容的特质。同时,通过小制作小发明的展示,让同学们开阔了视野,提升了科学文化素养,激发了对科学探索的好奇心。马浩哲同学的人生格言是:让科技改变生活,把爱献给世界,科技让人类进步,应该让世界更美好。万科双语学校通过丰富的活动,激发学生卓越的创造力与思维力,致力于培养敢于创造美好未来的中国公民。


This knowledge challenge was a close game with the emphasis on knowledge and interests to include all science subjects with history. Students have demonstrated their broad knowledge band, optimism and inclusiveness. They also improve their science literacy and broaden horizons to explore more on science. To quote Ma Haozhe's motto - science and technology allows us to progress and make our world a better place. VBS will strive to nurture global citizens who have the courage to create a better future by motivating their excellent creativity and thinking in many activities.

A: 百科知识竞赛

B: 手抄报、手工发明制作颁奖

活动中,各年级对科技节优秀手抄报作品、小发明小制作进行了颁奖。同时,获得小发明小制作奖的同学进行了现场演讲和展示。
