万双网讯   9月12日上午，阳光灿烂，第19届国际植物学大会纪念园开园暨“2121”计划启动仪式在深圳市红树林生态公园举行。万科双语学校因致力于推进“零废弃校园”建设，在环保方面做出了很多努力，学校师生应邀参加了开园仪式。

VBS News Net: The 19th International Botanical Congress Memorial in collaboration with Plan 2121 was launched in Shenzhen Mangrove Ecology Park on 12th September. VBS teachers and students were invited to the event due to their contributions in supporting environmental-friendliness and building zero waste campus.

本次活动由深圳市城市管理和综合执法局、福田区人民政府主办，福田区城市管理和综合执法局、福田区水务局、红树林基金会（MCF）承办。

This ceremony was hosted by Shenzhen Urban Management Bureau and Futian District Government, and organised by Futian Urban Management Bureau, Futian Water Supplies Bureau and MCF.

现场，全体来宾观看了纪念园宣传视频，了解园区创建背景，来自世界各地的国际植物学专家与红树林基金会会长王石通过网络会议平台（ZOOM 等）连线，为本次启动仪式致贺辞。

Everyone watched the introductory video on memorial to understand its background. Expert Botanists across the world and MCF Director Mr. Wang Shi sent their addresses via ZOOM.

当天，万科双语学校五年级和九年级热爱环保的同学在郑世英校长助理、吴萍副主任、辛红老师、魏素敏老师的带领下参与了“打绿怪“活动。红树林基金会的老师向同学们详细介绍了哪些植物属于需要清除的杂草（绿怪），师生们共同在园区清除外来入侵植物100多斤。

Led by Assistant Principal Ms. Zheng, Head of Development Centre Ms. Wu Ping, Ms. Xin and Mr. Wei, VBS students began their weed hunt within the park. Teachers from MCF introduced the weeds that students were required to eliminate and they had cleared over 50kg of weeds.

活动结束时，同学们接受了深圳卫视和第一现场记者的采访。孩子们阳光、自信、乐观的气质得到了记者朋友的赞赏。一位记者感叹地说道：“孩子们太优秀了。”

At the end of ceremony, students were interviewed by journalists SZMG and impressed them by their confidence, optimism, positivity, 'They are simply superb.'

纪念园还通过时间胶囊的形式记录对城市生态的美好向往与憧憬，向全社会征集、并最终选出100个最具代表性的生态梦想，通过时间胶囊封存并埋入园区，该胶囊将于20年后重新开启。VBS的老师和同学们纷纷在现场写下自己的梦想。

This memorial would collect 100 time capsules from society on ecology expectations for sustainable urban development. They would be stored inside the memorial and reopened after 20 years. VBS teachers and students wrote down their expectations.

本次活动让同学们在体验中提升了环保理念，开阔了视野，增强了爱护大自然的决心。万科双语学校将积极与万科公益基金会、红树林基金会深度合作，以打造“零废弃学校”为契机，通过开展丰富多彩的环保活动和PBL项目式学习，让爱护环境、保护地球的理念深植学生心中，使其成长为敢于创造美好未来、具有高度社会责任感的世界公民。

This event reinforced their perception on environmental-friendliness and broadened their horizons with determination to conserve the nature. With the initiation of building a zero waste campus, VBS will work closely with MCF, Vanke Foundation to organise various environmental-friendly activities and PBL to imbue students with conservation ideas so that they will become global citizens with the courage to create a better future and social responsibility.

纪念园创建背景

Background

2017 年7月23日，第 19 届国际植物学大会在深圳举办，是大会百年来首次在中国乃至发展中国家召开，在国际植物学发展史上留下了难忘的“深圳印迹”，同时也是深圳对标国际一流标准，推动绿色发展、共创绿色美好未来的重要契机。大会发表《植物科学深圳宣言》，以促进植物科学和社会的密切联系，保护生物多样性，共建绿色永续地球发展道路。

The 19th International Botanical Congress was held in Shenzhen on 23rd July 2017. It was the first time that the congress was held in developing countries such as China. This marked Shenzhen in International Botanical Congress history and its world class strategy for sustainable development. During the congress, Shenzhen Manifesto on Botanial Science was announced to facilitate the close connections between botanial science and society, to keep diversity of species and sustainable development across the globe.

为了纪念大会，也为了更好地落实深圳宣言制定的植物科学发展理念，深圳市决定在福田红树林生态公园南区建设第19届国际植物学大会纪念园。

Shenzhen Municipality decided to build the memorial at the south of Futian Mangrove Reserve to implement development concept of botanial science in Shenzhen Manifesto.

纪念园面积16.7公顷，包括入海河口、滩涂、红树林和陆地四部分，紧邻福田红树林自然保护区、香港米埔海湾国际重要湿地和深圳城市建成区，是连接城市人工生境和自然生境的过渡地带。

Situated next to Futian Mangrove Reserve, Hong Kong Mai Po Wetland and urban Shenzhen, the memorial occupied 16.7 hectares of land with mangroves, earth, mudflat and estuary and connected nature with urban area.

该纪念园，不仅承载本次大会首次在我国举办的珍贵回忆，还提供了两个重要的科学功能——让更多的人可以近距离观察自然，了解这里记载的植物与土壤的故事；让植物可以在这里“自由”生长，从而完成自然的演替。

The memorial recorded the memories of congress with two important functions - to allow more people to observe nature at the vicinity to know its stories and to allow plants to grow to restore the nature.

“2121计划”——百年科学实验记录原始生态

Plan 2121 - a century-long experiment to record ecology

2020年9月12日，纪念园正式开园。自开园之日起，深圳也开启了一场以百年为时间维度的长期科学实验，简称“2121计划”，该计划旨在让纪念园成为一个开放的城市自然恢复过程的长期观测平台，将通过长期持续的观察记录，开展为期百年的科学实验，并开放多元的参与平台，让这里成为年轻一代的科学启蒙。

The memorial was launched on 12th September, 2020 which initiated a long-term scientific experiment - Plan 2121 in Shenzhen. This initiative aimed to make it an open, long-term observatory on natural recovery by performing consistent observation, the century-long experiment and participation from the youth for enlightenment.
