万双网讯   毒品是人类社会的公害。为进一步增强青少年的防毒意识，珍爱生命, 完善人格，9月9日下午，万科双语学校七八年级学生齐聚剧场，聆听深圳市龙华区民治街道反毒先锋人气讲师刘妙音老师带来的禁毒讲座，并参与了禁毒宣誓系列活动。

VBS News Net: Drugs create harms to human society. VBS Grade 7 and 8 students had an anti-drug lecture by Ms. Liu Miaoyin from Minzhi Sub-district and the anti-drug campaign at theatre on 9th September to reinforce their anti-drug awareness.

刘妙音老师从“什么是毒品、吸毒的危害、拒绝的技巧”三个方面谈起，向学生们介绍了毒品的概念、分类、特征、生理危害、心理危害、社会危害，让学生知道青少年吸毒的原因及易染毒渠道，毒品违法犯罪及其处罚，掌握远离、拒绝毒品的方法与技能，让学生能够充分了解禁毒历史与现状。

Ms. Liu introduced the physical, mental and social harms of drugs as well as their characteristics and categories by three aspects - the drugs, their harms and how to say no to drugs. Students knew the reasons why and how  teenagers took drugs, criminal punishment on using drugs and learned skills to escape when being offered drugs. They also learned a lot on the history and current situation of anti-drug campaign. 

林红英校长助理要求同学们深刻认识毒品的危害性，时刻注意远离、拒绝毒品的诱惑，珍爱生命，健康成长。

Assistant Principal Ms. Lin admonished students on the harms which drugs could bring to human bodies so that they should stay away from drugs at all times.

同学们现场参观了仿真毒品，进行了防毒体验，领取了毒品预防手册，并在禁毒横幅上郑重签名。

Students observed drugs samples, had a trial against drugs, received anti-drug manuals and signed their names on anti-drug banner.

活动中，同学们庄严宣誓，“……不忘耻辱，坚决与毒魔作斗争，珍爱生命，拒绝毒品，保证不吸毒、不贩毒、不种毒，积极检举吸贩毒行为，自觉抵御毒品的侵蚀，积极投身于禁毒斗争行列，为国家禁毒事业做出自己应有的奉献。……”

Students also took a vow, 'I will value my life and say no to drugs by not taking drugs, selling drugs, nor planting drugs. I will report to police for any drugs activities and do my part in the national anti-drug campaign.'

本次活动对于加强师生的法治和禁毒观念，创建文明校园具有重要意义，为VBS未来少年的健康成长提供了安全保障。

This activity gives assurance on the growth of VBS students, reinforcement of legal knowledge among VBS community and to build a campus of civility.
