万双网讯   “我的梦想是当律师，我有梦，我要让梦想闪闪发光；我的梦想是当老师，我有梦，我要让梦想闪闪发光……8月27日上午，万科双语学校初一新生欢迎礼在学校剧场温馨举行。每一位VBS未来少年信誓旦旦，表达了对自己未来梦想的期待。200多名学生、家长和老师参与了本次活动。

VBS News Net: 'I want to be a lawyer. This is my dream and I want it to shine', 'I want to be a teacher. This is my dream and I want it to shine,' VBS Enrolment Ceremony for Junior Secondary 1 students was held at theatre on 27th August. Each Youth of the Future from VBS shared their expectations on their future. More than 200 students, parents and teachers took part in this enrolment ceremony.

当天上午8点, VBS校园充满了未来感。每一位报到的新学子与万小双一起“乘风破浪创未来”，开启自己崭新的学习生涯。他们在自己的梦想卡上十分认真地写下梦想，邮寄给未来的自己，并在万双剧场里对老师和同学们大声地说出自己的梦想。孩子们的梦想五花八门，有画家、科学家、程序员、医生、老师、律师、作家……有的说希望成为更好的自己，有的说希望当一个好人，有能力解决所有问题……

VBS campus was full of future sense since 8 am. Every student began their new learning journey by joining the VBS to brave the wind and waves to create their future. They wrote down their dreams with seriousness and mailed them to the future selves after saying their dreams out loud in front of teachers and peers in the school theatre. Their dreams varied - painter, scientists, programmer, teacher, doctor, lawyer, writer. Some wished to become a better self when others wanted to be capable of solving problems by being nice people.

杨帆校长为每一位学子送上了学校精心挑选的弗朗花（别名太阳花），其花语是有毅力、不畏艰难。

Principal Yang gave every student Gerbera selected by the school - as a sign of grit, no fear of adversity. 

家长朋友们听到孩子的梦想，心情十分激动，争先恐后表达自己对孩子的期待和祝福。一位家长朋友说，在去年参加学校的一次活动中，孩子们表现出来的热情、自信和感恩深深地感动了她，杨帆校长的讲座也让她获益匪浅。今天，当她看到自己的孩子在万双舞台上成为一名梦想家时心情特别激动，她希望孩子将来阳光自信，为国为民，勇往直前。更多的家长朋友说，希望孩子成为自己喜欢的样子，身心健康，大胆追逐自己的梦想，乘风破浪，成为有责任心、对社会有贡献的人。

Parents were excited once they hear students announcing their dreams and expressed their expectations and wishes. Some of them were touched by Principal Yang's speech and students' passion, confidence and gratefulness when taking part in an event at VBS last year. She was emotional when seeing her own child to present dreams to everyone and hoped every student here would remain confident, positive and move forward for the country and its people. Other parents hoped their children to meet their own expectations, stay healthy to pursue their dreams while becoming socially responsibile people.

万科双语学校所有初一老师与家长和同学初次相见。中外教老师用幽默的语言向同学们做了自我介绍，表达了与同学们共同学习、共同成长的愿望。

This was also the first time when all teachers met parents and students. Both domestic and international teachers presented themselves with humor and expressed their aspiration to thrive together with students. 

杨帆校长向同学们简要介绍了学校的办学理念。她告诉同学们面对不可预知的未来，要努力成长人格健全、学力卓越，具有国际视野和家国情怀，敢于创造美好未来的世界公民；要努力具有21世纪学生核心素养（审辩思维、创新、沟通、合作），养成乐观、坚毅、包容的特质，充满好奇心地面对多元未来。

Principal Yang introduced the school philosophies and told students to be global citizens who would possess sound personality, academic excellence, international horizons, patriotism and the courage to create a better future when facing the unpredictable future. Students should also work hard to have core competencies of students in the 21st Century - critical thinking, innovation, communication and cooperation when becoming gritty, optimistic, inclusive and curious towards the multi-faceted future. 

杨校长语重心长地告诉同学们，学习是艰苦的事，要学会克服困难，坚定信念。每个同学都要树立成长型思维模式，相信通过努力，一定会取得好的成绩。万科双语学校将为同学们营造最快乐的成长环境，努力让孩子们自信地站在未来中央。

Principal Yang advised students to overcome difficulty and remain resolute in their studies. Everyone ought to have the mindset of growth and believe in hard work would pay off. VBS would create conducive learning environment so that students could experience the future with confidence. 

一场简约而温馨的欢迎礼，带给了VBS又一批新学子独特的体验。三年后的他们将打开邮筒，看看自己是不是离梦想又近了一点点？万科双语学校将尽自己最大的努力，给予孩子们最高规格的教育陪伴，让每一个孩子成长的足迹都值得回忆，让每一个孩子的梦想在未来闪闪发光。

A simple but caring enrolment ceremony has brought unique experience to a new batch of VBS students. They will unlock the mailbox to see if they got any closer to their dreams. VBS consistently strives to offer educational companion to students who will shine on their dreams and have memorable upbringing.
