万双网讯  “少年智则国智，少年强则国强”。6月17日下午，“寻找最美万双少年——创新+自强好少年专场” 评选活动在学校剧场举行，由各班级推荐的14名优秀中小学生进行了精彩的现场演讲。

VBS News Net: 'Finding the most beautiful youth in VBS - Innovation and Self-motivation Youth' was held at the theatre on 17th June. 14 students nominated by classes delivered their speeches to demonstrate how the wisdom and strength of youth could mean to their country.

4D班吴萱怡同学、1I 班姜骄洋同学勇于创新、自强不息、乐于助人；3C 班刘梓渊同学孝顺父母，会做家务；1E班黄曦仪同学热爱阅读；1F班杨欣同学、表示要努力做一个热爱学习、热爱运动、自立自强的人；1 C 班严熹同学热爱祖国，尊敬老师，热爱公益。她独立自信、不怕挑战、敢于担当，曾在内蒙古腾格里沙漠独自完成了15公里沙漠越野；1E 班梁豪锋同学是一位优秀的冰球手，不怕困难与艰险，在多次大赛中荣获奖项；

Wu Xuanyi from 4D, and Jiang Jiaoyang from 1I were kind to help others, self-motivated and innovative. Liu Ziyuan from 3C displayed filial piety at home and did housework. Huang Xiyi from 1E was an avid reader. Yan Xi from 1C respected teachers and took part in voluntary works. She was confident and completed 15km trail across the desert in Inner Mongolia. Liang Haofeng from 1E was an excellent ice hockey player who won multiple awards in competitions.

1V班佟泽雨同学表示要向爱迪生、安培、伏特、瓦特、欧姆、焦耳等众多科学家学习，用智慧改变我们的生活，不辜负这个最好的时代；

Tong Zeyu from 1V would like to learn from scientists Edison, Ampere, Volt, Watt, Ohm and Joule to change our lives by their wisdom.

1G班张奕轩同学喜欢电脑编程，曾获得“编程星”的称号。他希望自己有一天能成为发明家，有很酷的科技创新作品，争做热爱创新的好少年。

Zhang Yixuan from 1G was named 'Programming Star' due to his interests in programming. He would love to invent items using technology as a student who had interests in innovation.

2D班郑颖妍同学热爱科学，热爱创造。在科技节上，她制作的“液压空气发射器”得到了同学们的赞赏。她说：“在你想要放弃的时候，想想是什么让你当初坚持走到了这里。”

Zheng Yingyan from 2D loved science and creation. Her item 'hydraulic air launcher' was commended by her peers. She quoted 'Think about what brings you here in the first place when you want to tap out and give up.'

3C班陈浩然同学说：“科学的魅力使我痴迷，而创新让这个世界变得更加美丽。为了祖国在科技竞争中立于不败之地，为了中华民族的伟大复兴，我会更加努力学习，勇于创新，帮助身边的同学，带领小伙伴们共同成长。”

Chen Haoran from 3C was attracted by science, 'Technology makes this world a better place. I will study hard, innovate and help peers to progress to ensure the competitiveness of our motherland in technology and the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.'

在演讲现场，同学们用精彩的视频和图片表现了VBS未来少年勇敢、坚毅、乐观、包容的特质，并用他们大方自信的演讲赢得了同学们的赞扬。

Students demonstrated the spirits of VBS Youth of the Future - grit, optimism, inclusiveness and courage through their speeches and won the applause by their peers.
