万双网讯 日前,在第十五届青少年冰心文学优秀作品征集活动中,万科双语学校小学生荣获多个奖项。其中一等奖12个,二等奖22个,三等奖16个。
VBS primary school students have clinched multiple awards in the 15th Bing Xin Youth Literature Writing Collection. The school has overall 12 first prize awardees, 22 second prize awardees and 16 third prize awardees.

一场突如其来的疫情,阻隔了孩子们上学的脚步,让这个寒假变得特别漫长。但“停课不停学”,VBS的老师们自原定的2月17日开学时间以来,一直坚守在线上教学的一线,老师们变身“十八线主播”,使出十八般武艺,让孩子在家也能学得开心,学有所得。让我们走进VBS的语文课日常,了解老师和孩子们的线上学习生活吧!
This winter break was prolonged by the sudden coronavirus outbreak, making students unable to return to school. The suspension of school terms did not stop the learning process as VBS teachers had stayed active in online teaching since 17th February when the school term was supposed to begin. Teachers became online hosts and did their best to teach so that students could learn knowledge while enjoying their studies at home. Now let us take a look at daily Chinese classes at VBS to know more about the E-learning life.
一、备课教研不耽误
No delays in making the teaching plan and research
开学前几周,老师们就按照发展中心的要求,仔细研读开学方案,认真准备开学事宜。没有课本怎么办?找电子课本。没有教参没有教案怎么办?网上找优质课资源,学习优秀。不能面对面集备怎么办?微信视频和腾讯会议齐上阵。讨论和集备时间长达一个半小时都是常有的事情。备课组长分配录课任务,年级组集体备课,教研组长审核微课,不合格的重新录,如此反复,只为能够给孩子们提供更好的资源,帮助他们在家也能保证较好的学习质量。
Requested by the Development Centre, teachers were carefully reading the plans to prepare their work a few weeks prior to the commencement of school. Without paperback textbooks, model lesson resources or teaching plans, teachers had to look for electronic ones online. They also adopted technological means to conduct their lessons via WeChat video calls or Tencent Meetings app. It was typical to discuss and prepare in groups for one and half hours. Subject heads allocated recording tasks when teachers teaching the same level prepared the lessons together before subject heads reviewed the lessons and asked for rerecording if necessary. It was done repeatedly only to ensure students to have a reasonable learning quality and better learning resources .
二、作业常规一起抓
Emphasising both homework and teaching
近三个月的网上教学,能看到老师们的敬业和认真,与家长勤交流,用心批改学生的每一份作业,并一对一反馈。有的老师仔细登记和用心反馈孩子们的作业,附上用心的评语;有的老师对孩子进行一对一辅导,给学生答疑解惑,对作业完成得好的孩子还给予奖励,发放电子奖状;有的老师每天早上提前进到直播室,提醒孩子做好课前准备,拿出书本出声朗读;有的老师善于抓课堂常规,课前提醒学生不能随便打开麦克风,发言要举手,课上采用男女生、小组比赛等方式,利用合适的激励措施,提高学生听课的积极性和听课效率。虽然是线上教学,老师和孩子隔着屏幕,孩子们在家里上课,但为了让孩子能有在学校上课的状态和积极性,VBS的老师们在不断努力着……
Teachers' professionalism and seriousness were observed throughout the E-learning process. They meticulously marked each piece of homework and give individual feedback while frequently communicating with parents. Some even gave very caring remarks after taking note of every student's homework. Others did one to one tutorial to clarify any doubt students might have and give for those who finished their work well. There were teachers who entered the chat room early to prep students for lessons by reading out loud. Some teachers were good at teaching disciplines to remind students mute their microphones and to use alert function for questions when motivating them to improve their during lessons. Despite the separation, teachers had done much work to make them active and ready for lessons as if they were in school.
三、兴趣课+整本书阅读的美好结合
The combination of interest lessons and reading the whole book
兴趣是最好的老师。网课伊始,为了能调动孩子们的上课兴趣,每个年级都开设有兴趣课,一年级的元宵猜灯谜、生字开花,二年级的猜字谜、绘本创作,三四年级的诗歌主题创作,让孩子们在开心学习的同时感受汉语世界的博大精深,体会到创作的乐趣。孩子们的作品也五花八门,精彩纷呈,体现了无限创意和才情。
Interest is the best teacher. When E-learning just began, the of Chinese Language was introduced to students by having different forms of Chinese language - riddles, poetry writing and making picture books. Students produced a variety of works to show their creativity and talents.
西汉文学家刘向说过:“书犹药也,善读之可以医愚。”著名作家池莉也说过:“如果把生活比喻为创作的意境,那么阅读就像阳光。”VBS一直十分重视培养学生的阅读习惯,这个漫长的假期,正是进行拓展阅读、古诗背诵等活动、培养学生自主学习能力和探究能力的好时机。VBS的语文老师们充分利用这个假期,以整本书阅读、学习单和任务单等为载体,提高学生深度阅读的能力。一年级语文组精选适合的绘本,制作精美的学习单,在阅读课带着孩子们阅读,交流阅读感受和心得;二年级精选书籍,制作手抄报,创作或续编小诗,稚嫩的语言,是孩子们真情的流露;三四年级带孩子们阅读《八十天环游地球》,让孩子们在书中了解各地风土人情,学习《寓言故事》,在故事中感悟人生哲理……孩子们在浩瀚的知识海洋中尽情徜徉,读圣贤书,充盈内心,发展思维,健全人格。
An ancient Chinese academic once said, 'Books are the medicine to eliminate foolishness if reading them well'. Famous author Chi Li also said, 'Reading is the source of writing and creation.' VBS has been paying attention to the forming of reading habits on students. This long winter break was the time to do extensive reading, memorising poems when developing their independent studies and research skills. Chinese Language teachers aimed to improve deep reading ability by reading the whole book, making study and tasks lists assignments. Primary 1 students read picture books to make study lists as they followed their teachers to read and exchange ideas. Primary 2 students read selected books to make posters or poems for their reflections. Primary 3 and 4 students read 'Travelling the world in 80 days' to understand exotic cultures written in the book and 'stories' to understand the wisdom. Students read to gain knowledge, develop their thinking and characters.
四、课题+实践,取得丰硕成果

开学初,小学三四年级老师共同确定了“诗海拾贝”七部曲教学探索,王月老师撰写了论文《在线教育背景下四年级诗歌教学探索——“诗海拾贝”七部曲》,并在《新教育时代》杂志发表。在教学实践中,老师们的诗歌教学从课前准备、课中探究、课后延伸三个方面将在线教育和诗歌教学进行了创新融合,设计了“诗海拾贝”七部曲的诗歌课程,提高了教学效果。孩子们创作了许多抗疫诗,并在第十五届青少年冰心文学优秀作品征集活动中荣获多个大奖。
Primary 3 and 4 teachers initiated a seven-step teaching exploration at the start of terms as Ms Wang Yue drafted the essay on 'Poetry learning exploration under E-learning background' which was published in 'New Education Era'. In practising the steps, teachers combined poetry teaching and E-learning on three aspects and designed a seven-step poetry class to improve the overall effectiveness of teaching. Students wrote many poems related to fighting against the coronavirus and received prizes in the 15th Bing Xin Youth Literature Writing Collection.
此外,孩子们还利用假期,过关本学期古诗词背诵,在古诗文的美好世界中徜徉,传承经典文化,感受古诗文的无限魅力,增添文化底蕴,提高审美能力和审美情趣。语文组的部分老师也利用这个假期,精编必背国学经典读本,弘扬和传承中华民族宝贵的精神财富。
Students also made use of the break to memorise Chinese poems to develop their asethetics and comsume the gist of ancient Chinese culture. Chinese Language teachers also edited the Chinese studies classics during this break.
这个难忘的寒假,近三个月的网课,孩子们的学习和成长都不停歇。老师们的用心与坚守,孩子们的参与和进步,共同铸就VBS平凡而又难忘的每一天。
This E-learning experience which last almost three months has left memories for students in terms of learning and growing. Every day in VBS was memorable but simple which began with teachers' dedication and students' participation and progress.
正是繁花似锦好时节,美好的相聚时光即将到来。
