万双网讯   2019年11月25日，2019-2020第一学期第十三周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由2I班承担。2I班是一个团结友爱、积极向上、有爱心、懂包容的集体。升旗仪式由2I班叶一帆、李子衿主持。杨馨儿和黄艺铭同学做了演讲，他们演讲的题目是《心怀感恩，大气自成》。

VBS News Net: The weekly flag-raising assembly for the thirteenth week was held on 25th November. 2I was in charge of the assembly. 2I was a united, positive, inclusive and caring group.Ye Yifan and Li Zijin co-hosted the assembly. Yang Xiner and Huang Yiming made the speech 'Gratitude and generosity'.

演讲结束，孩子们表演了手语歌《感恩的心》。他们自信、大方、充满童真的表演赢得了全校师生的掌声。

Today’s topic is about gratitude and generosity.

感恩是一种美德，更是一种生活。

Gratitude is not only a virtue, but also an attitude towards life.

在中国有一句俗语 “吃水不忘挖井人，时刻想念毛主席”。意思是要常怀感恩之心。

There is a folk adage: “Never forget the well-diggers when you drink from the well. Always remember Chairmen Mao”. It means we should to be grateful.

在美国，人们会在感恩节那天欢聚一堂，感谢、颂扬在过去一年里帮助过自己的人。

In the United States，people will gather together to celebrate and thank those who have helped themselves in the past year on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanks to the motherland for granting us peace and serenity.
