万双网讯   为培养学生诚信的品质，健全的人格，2019年11月1日下午，七年级“言必诚信  行必忠正”无人监考宣誓仪式在学校剧场举行。这也是万科双语学校培养学生良好的品德的常规活动，就每一位初中学子必备的品格。

VBS News Net: Year 7 students took the oath for 'Your words must be kept and your actions must be righteous' in the afternoon of 1st November at school theatre as a regular session on students' character development.

仪式举行前，黄远明老师用现实中多个生动的案例指出，“人而无信，不知其可。”无人监考的考试，考的是你的学习效果，是你在同学和老师心中的信任度，是人性中最根本的——诚实守信。黄老师鼓励同学们诚信应考，自尊自信，做个诚实守信的人。同学们踊跃发言、讨论，分享了自己的感悟与理解。

Before students took the oath, Mr Huang used multiple examples in life to illustrate an ancient Chinese saying 'A person without trustworthiness could be trusted for other things', 'Taking exams is to reflect your study outcomes, and taking exams without invigilators shows your trustworthiness among peers and teachers which reflects your personal integrity,' Mr Huang asked everyone to be honest students. Students also joined the discussion to share their thoughts.

随后，全体同学庄严宣誓：“我将遵守考纪，公平参与竞争，像爱护眼睛一样珍惜名誉，不辜负老师和家长的信任。我要在人格答卷上得到满分，在考试中培养自己的诚信品格，并为创建一个有序、和谐的学习环境做出我的贡献！”每位同学都在“言必诚信 行必忠正”的红布上郑重地签下自己的名字。

All students took the oath, 'I will follow the exam rules to compete fair and square, uphold my reputation and not to fail the trust that teachers and parents have on me. I must pass the test on my personal character and show my integrity in the exams. I will make my contributions to build the orderly and peaceful learning environment,' everyone signed their own names at the banner written 'Your words must be kept and your actions must be righteous'.

11月4日，七八年级期中考试开考，同学们信守承诺，用诚信的考场作风证明了自己的实力，用自律的行为证明了自己的良好的品德。

Junior Secondary School held its mid-term exams on 4th November. Students kept their promises and demonstrated self-discipline and integrity.
