万双网讯  黄花、绿叶、精致的花瓶……在孩子们的手里轻轻松松变成了美丽的艺术品，同时又是一份饱含深情的爱的礼物。10月25日，万科双语学校4D班的课堂充满了爱与美，感动与温暖。这既是一堂道德与法治课，也是一堂插花课。

VBS News Net: Flowers, leaves and vases became fabulous art works under the hands of students from 4D which were also gifts to send out love. 4D classroom was filled with love, beauty and care. This was a morality and rule of law class but also flower arrangement class for 4D on 25th October.  

课堂伊始，老师指导同学们思考： “书香世家、家长里短、家道从容、家家户户……，这些词语都是含有‘家’的。中国人从古至今一向重视家庭，有很强的家庭观念。作为家庭中的一员，你能为家庭做些什么？”精彩的导语，将课堂的主题“我的家庭贡献与责任”提到了孩子们的面前。

At the beginning of the class, teacher asked students to think of phrases with family, 'Students, as Chinese, we have always valued family and hence develop a sense of family throughout generations. As a member of each family, what can you do for your family?' with this statement, students were presented the topic of the class 'my contribution and responsibility to the family'.

家庭是社会生活单位，每个人在家庭中感受幸福。孩子们在课堂上首先回顾了父母对家庭的贡献，然后通过欣赏一场关于“家庭贡献与责任“的辩论赛明晰什么叫作家庭成员贡献与责任，接着小组讨论分享自己可以为家庭做些什么，最后将自己的感悟写下来，起草倡议书。总结出：家庭成员之间的相互理解和相互支持就是对家庭最大的贡献，而家庭的贡献与责任就是爱的付出与责任。

Family has been the basic unit of society where everyone gets to feel happiness. Students first reviewed the contributions made by their parents before watching a debate video which clearly dissected contributions and responsibility of family. They went on to discuss in groups on what they could do inside the family and wrote down their reflections as well as proposals. The final summary went, 'The mutual support and understanding among family members is the greatest contributions to the family, and love signifies the contribution and responsibility of the family'.

爱，是亘古不变的守候；爱，是精神投射的能量；爱，是美好、美丽、美意。如何将美好、美丽、美意表达出来？

Love had been the eternal caring and ultimate energy source. But how to express love?

于是，4D班许艾雯同学的妈妈为同学们带来了一堂精彩的插花课！她不仅带来了花和花瓶，还向同学们讲解怎样欣赏花的美，如何进行插花。

Xu Aiwen's parent gave students one answer. She presented a lesson on flower arrangement for the whole class. Not only had she provided flowers and vases, she also taught students to enjoy the beauty of the flowers, besides arranging them. 

插花——因人类对大自然美丽的向往而产生；插花——是对生命力美好的赞叹；插花——是回报家庭爱的美意。让孩子们学习插花，就是培养孩子们爱与美的知情意行。

Flower arrangement was created by humans' aspirations to the beauty of nature, the compliment of the beautiful life and the repayment of love given by the family. Teaching students flower arrangement developed their emotions, behaviour, mindsets and perceptions towards love and beauty.  

怎样插好花？插好花要做到：勤（要勤劳，不偷懒，不怕苦）、慎（谨慎、不随便）、虚（要虚心，不要有成见）。

How to arrange flowers? Three things ought to be done - labouriousness, cautiousness and modesty.

孩子们在倾听老师的讲解后，选取了自己最喜欢的花瓶和鲜花，开始动手。纤纤花枝在稚嫩的幼指中舒展着自己的独韵，它们是相同的，可在不同的花瓶中又是不同的。你仿佛体会到了各色作品衍化出的不同心情与各种立意。

After listening to the introduction, students chose their favourite flowers and vases before arranging flowers. Identical flowers displayed variations in their beauty when they were arranged into different vases by students. Different meanings and states could be interpreted by each vase. 

寻花、赏花、插花、再赏花，“始从芳草去，又逐落花回。”是插花的过程，也是爱的修练过程。带着这瓶花，带着这种美，带着这份爱，拿回家送给父母，送给自己喜爱的老师或是亲人，是这节课的结束，却是孩子们明白爱的付出与责任的开始。

The process of arranging flowers was also the process of cultivating love. Taking the vases and presenting them to parents, teachers or relatives was the start for students to learn the commitment and responsibility of love.

课程是实现学校培养目标的途径。课程整合就是将两种学科或两种以上学科融合在一堂课中进行教学，它是我国基础教育课程改革的重要内容之一。本堂跨学科融合课敢于创新与实践，将课堂变得生机盎然，在孩子们心灵深处烙下了美好的印记。

Curriculum is the means for schools to achieve its development goals. Curriculum integration is teaching two or more subjects jointly at one single class as one of the most important educational reforms in our country. This innovative integrated class would be lively kept inside students' memory.
