万双网讯  今年是新中国成立70周年，同时也是中国少年先锋队建队70周年。10月11日上午，中国少年先锋队广东省第七次代表大会第一次全体会议在广州召开，来自全省21个地市和省直有关单位、社会组织的500名省少代会代表参加了会议。万科双语学校3D班夏玖玥同学作为深圳市少代会代表参加了会议。本次参会，夏玖玥的提案是《让爱国主义精神在红领巾心中牢牢扎根》。该提案亮点突出，成为龙华区两份入选提案之一。

VBS News Net: Year 2019 has marked the 70th anniversary of both People's Republic of China and Young Pioneers of the Communist Party of China. The seventh Young Pioneers conference of Guangdong Province held its first formal meeting in Guangzhou on 11th October. 500 Young Pioneers representatives in 21 cities from the society and relevant provincial agencies attended this meeting. Xia Jiuyue of 3D from VBS attended the meeting on behalf of Shenzhen Young Pioneers. Her proposal for this meeting was ''Imbuing Young Pioneers members with patriotism'. Her proposal was one of the two insighful proposals admitted by Longhua District, Shenzhen which were chosen the meeting this time.  

夏玖玥同学多次在机器人大赛、英语口语大赛、数学思维训练竞赛中获得奖项，并被评为校级三好学生、校优秀学生干部。谈及提案创作的原因，夏玖玥同学说，喜欢收看时事新闻的她，也喜欢听家里大人评论时事政治。香港近期发生的暴力乱港事件引起了她的强烈关注。她知道，香港是中国不可分割的一部分，为了探究香港年轻人不爱国的原因，她开始检索资料、请教家人、采访少先队员。结果她发现问题的根源在于：香港年轻人对中国的历史和现状缺乏基本的了解，对祖国认同感低，爱国主义教育缺失。于是，她提交了提案。

Xia Jiuyue won multiple awards in competitions in English speaking, Mathematics, and robotics and was awarded VBS Merit Student and VBS Excellent Class Representatives. When speaking about her proposal, she stated her interest in watching current affairs news reports and relevant discussions from her families. Recent incidents in Hong Kong had caught her attention. Knowing the fact that Hong Kong was part of China, she began her research on why youngsters from Hong Kong were not patriotic at all. She asked her families for assistance and interviewed her peers to look for information on this matter. Once she determined the root cause as the missing of national education and the lack of basic understanding on history of China by Hong Kong youngsters, she submitted her proposal.  

在提案中，她写道：希望教育主管部门及学校加强对少先队员的爱国主义教育；建议教育主管部门或者学校多邀请对国家或社会有杰出贡献的行业专家来学校做讲座；开展博物馆红领巾讲解员活动；加强对祖国和所生活地区的认识；组织少先队员观看目前战乱国家的纪实片和纪录片；定期联合开展粤港澳或其他地区的青少年爱国知识竞赛或辩论赛；组织夏令营、冬令营、研学游等方式，加强各地少先队员的联系和交流，培养学生的爱国情操和民族自豪感……

In her proposal, she suggested means for Education Bureau agencies to:

Reinforce national education on students;

Invite industrial experts who have made significant contributions to the nation and society for lectures on patriotism;

Reinforce the understanding on our motherland;

Organise sessions to watch documentaries on states which undergo civil unrest;

Organise regular debates or competitions on patriotism among youngsters from Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong;

Organise activities such as camping or study tours to enhance the communications among Young Pioneers and to nurture spirits of patriotism.

夏玖玥同学的提案充满了家国情怀。万科双语学校致力于培养人格健全、学力卓越，具有国际视野和家国情怀，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民，夏玖玥同学用自己的实际行动践行培养目标，勤学善思，在本次活动中展现了VBS学子关心时政、关心国家、关心未来的卓越的思维力和爱国情操。

Xia Jiuyue's proposal has been filled with patriotism. VBS strive to nurture Chinese citizens who possess academic excellence, international horizons, patriotism and dare to create a better future. Xia Jiuyue from 3D has demonstrated excellent thinking and patriotism of VBS students who care about their motherland, future, current affairs through her own actions.

With her reflection on attending the conference

金秋十月，国旗飞扬，我很荣幸能作为深圳市少先队代表团的一员，到广州参加为期两天半的中国少年先锋队广东省第七次代表大会的活动。

I am honoured to represent Shenzhen Young Pioneers to attend the seventh Young Pioneers conference of Guangdong Province which last two and half days.

我们全省的少先队代表参加了“新时代小主人”——少先队提案发布会，这是一场有趣的提案发布会。我印象中最深刻的提案是来自我们深圳代表王齐悦发布的《家庭养“机”场》，该提案道出了我们绝大多数少年儿童的心声。很多父母在陪伴孩子时，不专注，喜欢玩手机。王齐悦建议父母在陪伴孩子时，把手机放到家庭的养“机”场，让有限的陪伴变得高质量。我也希望我们家有个家庭养“机”场。

Provincial Young Pioneers representatives attended the proposal conference - future masters of new era which was fascinating. What impressed me the most was the proposal made by Wang Qiyue on putting handphones away when parents got home. She suggested that parents to put their phones away at a designated location to spend some real quality time with their children. I wished that could be implemented in my house too.

第二天上午，我们在珠岛宾馆召开了中国少年先锋队广东省第七次代表大会的开幕式和第一次全体会议。这是我第一次参加如此庄严的会议，每个人都正襟危坐，认真听取共青团广东省委副书记武一婷关于《南粤少年心向党  我与祖国共成长》的报告。听了报告，我更深刻地认识到：我们少先队员成长在一个快速发展的中国，我们的人生轨迹将与国家的进步息息相关，未来的我们必将接过父辈手中的旗帜，成为中国梦的建设者、创造者和贡献者。我们更应该从小立志、有梦想，爱学习、爱劳动、爱祖国，牢记使命，为实现中华民族的伟大复兴时刻准备着。下午，我们去了广州起义烈士园林，深切哀悼和缅怀革命烈士并向他们鲜花，然后参观了广东美术馆。

We held the formal meeting the next day, at Zhudao Hotel. It was my first time to attend such a solemn meeting, everyone was focused on the report delivered by Wu Yiting, Vice-president of the Communist Youth League, Guangdong Province. The message from the report made me realise that my motherland was developing real quick and my lifepath was closely connected to that development. We would take over the older generations to realise the Chinese dream ourselves. We should make and , get ready for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We delivered flowers to the martyrs and paid our tributes to Martyrs' Park for Guangzhou Uprising.

第三天上午，我们在珠岛宾馆参加了代表大会的闭幕式和第二次全体会议。在会议上，我们少先队员代表充分行使了自己的投票权，选举了中国少年先锋队广东省第七届工作委员会委员。

We had the second formal meeting and the closing ceremony on the final day. We exercised our voting rights to elect members for the seventh executive committee of Young Pionners, Guangdong Province.

中国少年先锋队的代表大会，五年才举行一次，可以跟各地市的优秀少先队员代表一起交流和学习，对我而言，是一次非常难得的人生体验，希望下次还能有机会参加。

This conference was held once in five years and it was a valuable experience for me to learn from my peers, I would like to have the opportunity to attend again next time.
