万双网讯  “不学礼，无以立”。中国是礼仪之邦，礼仪是中国传统文化的精髓，也是社会主义核心价值观的体现。为大力推行行为习惯养成教育，给学生提供具有生活价值的学习，为深圳创建文明城市作贡献，9月25日下午，VBS小学部在剧场举行了一场别开生面的“三爱三节”暨文明礼仪教育活动。

VBS News Net: China has been a well-mannered state and imbued with mannerism which reflects the socialist core values. Primary school department held a session on civilised manners education, and 'three things to love and save' on 25th September. This was to promote education on behavioural habits and offer learning that was value-adding to life.

此次文明礼仪教育活动由孙晓萌老师主持。“三爱”指的是“爱学习”、“爱劳动”、“爱祖国”，“三节”指的是“节约粮食”、“节约用水”、“节约用电”。小学部一年级各班以情景剧的形式再现了“三爱三节”及校园生活中需要注意的细节以及行为规范。学生们系统学习了日常礼仪、用餐礼仪、升旗仪式礼仪、办公室礼仪、迎宾礼仪、课间游戏礼仪等。

This session on civilised manners was hosted by Ms Monna Sun. 'Three things to love and save' referred to love studies, love hardwork, love our country and save electricity, save water, save food. Primary one classes presented plays on details and regulations in school life. Students systematically studied daily manners, table manners, ushering manners, and flag-raising assembly manners, office manners and recess time manners.

发展中心郑世英主任对什么是“创文”、学校做了哪些创文工作进行了详细解读，鼓励同学们牢记社会主义核心价值观，争当文明好学生。

Head of Development Centre, Ms Zheng Shiying explained in details on 'building civilised cities' which VBS had also contributed to. Furthermore, she encouraged students to keep in mind the socialist core values and be model civilised students.

本次活动的成功举办，对于强化学生的文明意识，提升学生的文明素养，弘扬中华民族传统美德，培养社会主义合格公民，创建文明城市等均具有重要意义，也是万科双语学校培养人格健全学生的常规活动。

As a regular session on holistic development on students, this event had its significance in raising students' awareness on mannerism, reinforcing their manners, promoting traditional Chinese virtues, bringing up standard socialist citizens and building civilised cities.
