万双网讯  新学年伊始,万科双语学校教师职业发展学院培训工作在林红英校长助理发布的新学年工作安排中拉开序幕。林校郑重宣布了中教教师教学、学科课时以及教室、办公室的具体安排,为中教教师们明晰了新学年的工作脉络。随后,周金凤主任也公布了外教老师的教学安排,为外教团队在新学年的教学之旅点亮了明灯。


At the beginning of the new school year, the training work of the Vanke Bilingual School Teacher Professional Development Institute commenced with the announcement of the new academic year’s work arrangements by Assistant Principal Lin Hongying. Principal Lin formally announced specific arrangements for Chinese teachers regarding teaching assignments, subject hours, and allocations of classrooms and offices, clarifying the new academic year’s work framework for Chinese teachers. Following this, Director Zhou Jinfeng also revealed the teaching arrangements for foreign teachers, illuminating their teaching journey for the new academic year.

本次培训创新性地融入了名为“One Dream 万双”团建活动,全体教职工自发、随机组成的八支乐队,通过箱鼓、吉他、尤克里里等乐器的共同演奏,不仅精彩演绎了《海阔天空》《恋爱ING》《你要跳舞吗》《NEW BOY》等经典曲目,更在音乐的魅力中深化了团队协作。


Innovatively, this training incorporated a team-building activity called “One Dream Vanke Bilingual.” Eight bands formed spontaneously and randomly by all staff members performed classic tracks like “Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies,” “Loving You,” “Do You Want to Dance,” and “New Boy” through instruments such as cajon drums, guitars, and ukuleles. This not only showcased their musical talent but also deepened team collaboration through the charm of music.

The over three-hour-long musical journey allowed staff to quickly grasp instrument-playing skills under professional guidance and enhanced team cohesion and creativity through intense rehearsals and performances. This was not only a creative and fun team-building experience but also a novel attempt at promoting communication, collaboration, and resonance through music, injecting new vitality and inspiration into team collaboration for the new school term.

按照惯例,万科双语学校的老师们在暑期成立了9个PBL小组足迹遍布全球,深入开展研究性学习。在培训周期间,各小组的研究成果精彩亮相,受到了广泛关注。项目内容丰富多样,包括日本泡沫经济的探索、丝绸之路文物的保护、郴州风能的研究、华东三市文创设计、河南地区中华文明的传承、新疆旅游的可持续发展、广西特色教育的融合、潮汕英歌舞文化的传承,以及民俗文化精髓的挖掘。这些研究充分展现了老师们对知识探索的热情和对教育创新的追求。项目覆盖经济、历史、文化、艺术等多个领域,各学科教师在研究中各展所长,展现了跨学科学习的显著优势。研究成果的展示,不仅加深了老师们对教材知识的理解,也为他们带来了全新的教学视角和方法。


As per tradition, Vanke Bilingual School teachers formed nine PBL (Project-Based Learning) groups during the summer, carrying out research-based learning globally. During the training week, each group’s research results were unveiled, attracting widespread attention. The projects covered a diversity of topics, including the exploration of Japan’s bubble economy, protection of Silk Road artifacts, wind energy research in Chenzhou, cultural and creative design in three cities of East China, heritage of Chinese civilization in Henan, sustainable tourism development in Xinjiang, integration of special education in Guangxi, inheritance of Chaoshan Yingge dance culture, and the essence of folk culture.These studies demonstrated teachers’ enthusiasm for knowledge exploration and pursuit of educational innovation. Covering multiple fields such as economics, history, culture, and art, teachers showcased their strengths in interdisciplinary learning. The display of research outcomes not only deepened their understanding of textbook knowledge but also brought new teaching perspectives and methods.

At the conclusion of the training, Principal Yang led all staff in tracing back to the founding ideals, reaffirming the top-level design philosophy. Under the theme “Let Children Stand at the Center of the Future,” she delivered a deeply insightful and forward-looking speech. Principal Yang reiterated the core transformation of the school’s new three-year plan — “Organized for Learning,” aiming to internalize learning as a survival instinct, ensuring education keeps pace with the times, and continuously refining the teaching team to guide students in confidently facing future world challenges. She emphasized that the essence of education lies in awakening individuals’ intrinsic passion for learning, making it a shared, noble goal for both teachers and students.

Through this training, teachers not only shared knowledge and experiences but also embarked on a new chapter of self-awareness and improvement through intellectual exchanges.
