万双网讯  为了达成“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越,具有家国情怀和国际视野,敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”培养(成长)目标,促进学生全面发展,万科双语学校着眼构建高质量的学生自主发展体系,于2022年9月,万双设立了班级和学生自主发展评价方案。7月13日,万科双语学校就2023-2024学年评价方案的实施情况组织了班主任答辩会。


To achieve the goal of cultivating Chinese citizen with “good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism and international vision, and the courage to create a better future” and to promote the comprehensive development of students, Vanke Bilingual School focused on building a high-quality student self-development system. In September 2022, VBS established the Class and Student Self-Development Evaluation Program. On July 13, Vanke Bilingual School organized a Homeroom Teacher Defense Meeting to evaluate the implementation of the evaluation plan for the 2023-2024 academic year.


在持续了2天的活动中,班主任们依次进行答辩,从班级的问题如何落实、学生自主发展目标的指导、针对需要特殊关怀的学生的教育引导三方面总结了过去一年的工作成果、工作经验和问题改进方法,并对新学年的工作进行了全新展望。


During the two-day event, homeroom teachers presented their defenses in turn, summarizing the past year’s achievements, experiences, and improvement methods from three aspects: how to address class issues, guidance on students’ self-development goals, and educational guidance for students requiring special care. They also provided a fresh outlook on the work for the new academic year.


在班级问题落实角度,班主任们以“金海豚”班级创立为源动力,鼓励全班同学共同确立班级发展目标,从而形成班级公约,并细化到周目标中。在目标的达成角度,同学们都成了彼此成长的见证者和陪伴者,相互之间只有鼓励、没有抱怨,班级凝聚力不断提升。


From the perspective of addressing class issues, homeroom teachers used the establishment of the “Golden Dolphin” class as a driving force, encouraging all students to collectively establish class development goals, which were then formalized into class agreements and further broken down into weekly goals. In terms of goal achievement, classmates became witnesses and companions to each other’s growth, fostering an environment of encouragement and camaraderie, without complaints, continually enhancing the class’s cohesion.

学校的培养目标、班级目标和学生的个人目标是层层递进的关系,多向奔赴,互相成就。在关注班级目标的同时,班主任老师引导孩子自主设立合适的个人目标,并定期和不定期地对目标进行复盘,以帮助学生们增强目标感,提升行动力。在这样的驱动下,万双的每个孩子都在向自主学习的目标前进着。


The school’s cultivation goals, class goals, and individual student goals are interrelated and progressive, mutually achieving and promoting each other. While focusing on class goals, homeroom teachers guide students to independently set appropriate personal goals and regularly review and reflect on these goals to help them strengthen their sense of purpose and improve their initiative. Under this guidance, every child at Vanke Bilingual School is progressing towards the goal of becoming an independent learner.

“会好,迟早,他日见青山”是班主任老师们对需要特别关注学生支持角度的感悟。老师们秉承“山不过来,我就过去”的工作理念,走进每一个孩子的内心世界。注重鼓励学生的点滴进步;与家长保持良好的沟通,家校合作共同促进学生的成长也;建立学生个性档案,坚持每周记录学生的发展情况,不断复盘……这一条一条真挚地分享,让在场所有人感受到了老师们对“我的孩子”的满满爱意。


“The future will be bright, sooner or later, when we see the green hills.” This sentiment captures the homeroom teachers’ approach to supporting students who need special attention. Adhering to the philosophy of “If the mountain won’t come to me, I’ll go to the mountain,” teachers strive to understand the inner world of each child. They focus on encouraging every small progress, maintain good communication with parents to jointly promote student growth, create individual student profiles, and consistently document weekly developments and reflections. These sincere shares deeply moved all those present, as they felt the teachers’ profound love for “their children.”

一个个真实鲜活的育人故事,是班主任工作的艺术性的最好展示。除了以上“规定动作”,在杨帆校长、林红英校长助理、周金凤主任、陈佳敏老师、胡雅琼老师、孙晓萌老师六位评委们的提问中,班主任老师进行现场答辩。从他们口中我们听到了科任老师之间的感情增进、工作默契提升的例子,强调了良好工作氛围、密切的家校沟通和关注学生反馈问题的重要性。


Each authentic and vivid story of nurturing students vividly demonstrates the artistic side of the homeroom teachers’ work. In addition to the “standard practices” mentioned above, homeroom teachers participated in on-site defenses in response to questions from the six judges: Principal Yang Fan, Assistant Principal Lin Hongying, Director Zhou Jinfeng, and Teachers Chen Jiamin, Hu Yaqiong, and Sun Xiaomeng. From their answers, we learned about examples of enhanced relationships and improved collaboration among subject teachers, and they emphasized the importance of a positive working environment, close communication between school and home, and addressing student feedback issues.
