Rebuilding the Connection Between Men and the Nature to Protect the Precious Ecological Environment

——"0 Abandoned Schools" Project Symposium and Lecture were held in our school

VBS Network Express: In order to reconstruct the connection between men and the nature, to protect the precious ecological environment and to promote the growth of more and more green citizens, the "0 Abandoned Schools" Project symposium was held in the meeting room of Vanke Bilingual school on September 26^th. The meeting was hosted by Meisha Education Research and Development Center, the leader of Friends of Nature "waste and Life" Ms. Lin, the Director of the Waste reduction project Sun Jinghua, public Action Center consultant cite, Vanke Charitable Foundation Deputy Secretary General Xie Xiaohui, the project Officer Chen Te, the Project Assistant Cui Xue, Meisha Education Research and Development Center Kang Jian and Wu Qiong, Vanke Bilingual School Executive Principal Yang Fan and the Academic Principal Jenny, the Director from the Academic Center Peng Qin, Nie Linqiu Director from the Students’Center, Lin Jinyong and other school leaders attended the meeting.

The event lasted one day, and the project team conducted in-depth exchanges with school leaders and teachers on the construction of "0 abandoned schools". Friends of Nature was founded in 1994, is one of the earliest civil environmental protection organizations in China. Over the past more than 20 years, Friends of Nature have nearly 30,000 members of the national communities, through environmental education, family energy saving, ecological community, legal rights and policy advocacy and other ways to reconstruct the connection between human and the nature, protect the precious ecological environment, and promote the emergence and growth of more and more green citizens. On the same day, the project team surveyed the school garbage situation, on the curriculum construction, campus reformation, campus activities, teacher training, action plans and so on with the school leadership, the teacher team launched a lively discussion. "Wastes and Life", the environmental theme speech was held in the school theater at 4:20 pm. The whole school listened to the speech. The seminar will was lectured by Ms. Lin Youzhu, a project leader in "Green Account", "Waste and Life", who graduated from the Friends of Nature waste Reduction team, advocating 0 abandonment concept and protecting the environment.

The project team said that after in-depth communication with the school, it will be responsible for the curriculum design and teacher training, assist the project into the standardized evaluation to set up the scale target, establish the corresponding evaluation system on the scale target, and provide the continuous accompany service, meanwhile, the important component of the project includes "Project Effect evaluation system" and "Course Research system" "Teacher development system", "Project Management System" and so on to provide the necessary upgrade strategy consultation.
