万双网讯  2月6日，第八届广东省中学生模拟联合国大会获奖名单揭晓，万科双语学校9F班吴瑾妍同学荣获广东省初中英文组二等奖（优秀国家代表奖）、9E班伍宣静、8E蔡瑞璋同学荣获初中英文组三等奖（荣誉提名奖）奖项，8C班谢安荣获广东省优秀参与奖。颜江红、李敏、魏素敏教师荣获优秀指导教师奖。

VBS Net News    On February 6, the winners of the 8th Guangdong Provincial Model United Nations Conference for Middle School Students were announced. Wu Jinyan from Class 9F of Vanke Bilingual School won the second prize of the Guangdong Junior High School English Group (Excellent National Representative Award), and students from Class 9E Wu Xuanjing and 8E Cai Ruizhang won the third prize (Honorable Mention Award) in the Junior High School English Group.  Xie An in class 8C won the Guangdong Provincial Outstanding Participation Award. Teachers Yan Jianghong, Li Min and Wei Sumin won the Excellent Instructor Award.

本次大会由广东省中小学德育研究会、广东中际教育科技有限公司、广东省教育基金会、华南理工大学模拟联合国协会主办，旨在增强学生国际理解、拓宽国际视野、培养家国情怀。全省参与本届大会初赛的学生有5000余人，1900人进入大会复赛，最终进入决赛的仅有390名同学。

The conference was hosted by the Moral Education Research Association of Guangdong Primary and Secondary Schools, Guangdong Zhongji Education Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Education Foundation, and the Model United Nations Association of South China University of Technology. More than 5,000 students from the province participated in the preliminary competition of this conference, 1,900 entered the semi-finals of the conference, and only 390 students entered the finals.

大会决赛于2023年1月7日至1月8日在线上成功举办。在两天的决赛中，万科双语学校学生代表以“外交官”的身份参照联合国议事规则，围绕信息和通信技术促进可持续发展的强化、中亚地区毒品泛滥问题的解决以及包容性和可持续经济发展的促进等国际热点问题展开讨论磋商，体验多边协商合作，提出解决方案，在模联的舞台上充分发挥了自己的才能。经过两天角逐，共评选出学生个人一等奖35名、二等奖96名、三等奖189名，优秀指导老师132名。

The final of the conference was successfully held online from January 7 to January 8, 2023. In the two-day final, the student representatives of Vanke Bilingual School, as "diplomats", referred to the United Nations rules of procedure, focusing on the strengthening of information and communication technology for sustainable development, the solution to the problem of drug abuse in Central Asia, and inclusiveness and sustainable development. Discussions and consultations on international hotspot issues such as the promotion of economic development, experience multilateral consultation and cooperation, propose solutions, and give full play to their talents on the stage of the MUN. After two days of competition, a total of 35 individual first prizes, 96 second prizes, 189 third prizes, and 132 outstanding instructors were selected.
